Centrally located, within minutes of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Topkapi Palace. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and modern. If your plan is just to have a nice place where to sleep, this is a great option. If you want fine dining, a gym, sauna, etc., then, it is not. It worked perfectly for me and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be close to all the action.

Lovely place. The restaurants around the area are expensive but then it’s a very upmarket place. Nice view from the rooftop terrace where you can have takeaway. Lovely breakfast.

Very good location. But there is no elevators at the hotel. It was horrible to carry all suitcases to 3rd floors ( with their help of course). The host is very friendly and the room is quiet

Very nice hotel, centrally located, close to many of the most interesting places to visit. The Blue Mosque is a less than 10 minutes walk away and from there you can easily reach the Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sofía, the Grand Bazar or the Topkapi Palace. The room is a tad small but I was by myself so no problem there. I wouldn't give them five stars just because it lacks an elevator so it's not accessible for everyone. Other than that I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend the Alilass Hotel.

Nice and still quiet hotel in a very busy touristic area, almost every building is either a restaurant or hotel or both. Convenient location only 10 min walking from some of the major historic attraction of Istanbul. (Warning: the hotel didn't have an elevator, or at least I didn't see one).

Sehr sauber, klein, fein, chic und modern gemachtes Hotel. Innerer Garten und Wintergartenpavillion als Frühstücksbereich. Herrlich! Schönes kleines traditionelles Frühstücksbuffet, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Sehr aufmerksam. Zimmer sind sauber, modernes Bad. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Abbiamo soggiornato quattro notti in questa struttura. A pochi minuti dalla moschea blu e Santa Sofia ,in piena Sulthanamet,posizione molto comoda.Vicino ci sono ristoranti e supermercato.Hotel modesto,senza troppe pretese,non tanto grande,molto pulito sia nella camera che nelle zone comuni.Non c’è l’ascensore ,ma c’è un ragazzo che porta in camera i bagagli e,chiedendo ,li porta anche in reception al momento della partenza.Camera standard, silenziosa ,piacevole,letti comodi,armadio un po’ piccolo,ma per pochi giorni va più che bene.Abbiamo trovato pure le ciabattine di cortesia.Cassetta di sicurezza nell’armadio ,bollitore e occorrente per farsi te’ e caffè.Bagno abbastanza grande ,con una bella doccia spaziosa, flaconcini di shampoo e docciaschiuma ed erogatore di sapone liquido accanto al lavabo. Colazione servita in una struttura che ricorda una piccola serra,che si trova in un cortile interno ,dove ci sono pure tavolini con sedie .La colazione è abbastanza varia ,ci sono più cose salate che dolci,ma è buona.Le bevande vengono servite al tavolo ,mentre il resto è a buffet.C’è un piccolo bar e una zona divanetti per lettura .Personale cortese e molto disponibile.Una sera il Wi-Fi in camera non andava, allora ci hanno dato un’altra password per poter usare whatsapp in reception.Ci siamo trovati bene e lo consigliamo .

Hotel Alilass is lovely and the staff are helpful. My room (single) was small but perfect for me as a solo traveller. The hotel was clean and well maintained. It is right in the heart of a very touristy area and the prices of restaurants etc nearby reflect this. I recommend this hotel.

There always was someone at reception which felt very safe and was convenient. The room was spacious, clean and we appreciated the daily water bottles. The shower could have been a little cleaner; there was some signs of mold in the corners… We were so close to the Blue Mosque and so many other tourist sites that made our tours very convenient.

This hotel is outstanding in every way except for the size of the rooms. The location is steps away from the main sites of interest and numerous restaurants. The hotel is modern, bright and clean. The breakfast room and the food are highly enjoyable. Most importantly the owners set a tone of friendly hospitality and service. We highly recommend this family run hotel.

Wonderful stay at this small hotel. Rooms were clean, and as photographed. Breakfast was delicious and had a wide range of options that rotated on different days. Staff were really friendly. Area was not super noisy despite being in a busy tourist area. Close to tram links and Blue Mosque/Hagia Sofia. We had accidentally left personal items in the lobby twice and hotel staff kept and returned them to us safely and promptly when coming back to the hotel. Air conditioning is a god send and delightful to come back to after a hot day. Good room amenities (kettle, bar fridge), hairdryer was good.

The property is well positiones within main attractions at walking distance like the blue mosque, also a variety of restaurants and shops nearby. The property is relly nice and the breakfast was really good and turkish style. Staff were attentive. The room was a bit on the smaller side as the building itself is old but fully renovated. It has all good amenities like AC, fridge, tea and cofees as well as bottle water refreshment everyday. The only downside was the shower door which opened inwards and as I am a bit muscular i could not fit and close the door due to limited space on the swing without fully squeezing.

The location was awesome! Minutes away from the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Would've gave 5 stars if only they soundproof their room well. Space is a bit tiny and no elevator. Breakfast was great.

Das Zimmer hat alles gehabt was mann benötigt, das Bett mit den Nachttischen waren ein wenig beengt. Die Nachttischlampen waren schlecht zu regulieren, einfach zu hell. Bad war sehr sauber, Handtücher wurden immer gewechselt.

The staff in the hotel were lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. The hotel was lovely and clean. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because there is no lift in the hotel and no lock on the bathroom door / the bathroom door didn’t fully close. Other than that it is a lovely wee hotel

We had accidentally left personal items in the lobby twice and hotel staff kept and returned them to us safely and promptly when coming back to the hotel. Air conditioning is a god send and delightful to come back to after a hot day. Good room amenities (kettle, bar fridge), hairdryer was good.

What an incredible stay we had at Hotel Alilass! The staff was incredibly helpful and even helped me retrieve my phone that I accidentally left in the airport transfer! Additionally they helped arrange the transfer on short notice and helped us find great food despite our late arrival. Next time I’m at a hotel in Istanbul I hope they have vacancy because it was an incredible property to stay at.

I want to share my brief experience at this facility. Initially, they refused to refund me despite proof of non-entry to the country. Despite attempts from Expedia and direct messages, they showed no flexibility. However, they did agree to reschedule my stay. Upon arrival, the reception directed us to a room that looked nothing like the pictures on Expedia – it was really tiny. We accepted it, but later, when I took a shower, water leaked under the door and even went outside the room. When we called the reception, the staff member was rude, insinuating that we didn't know how to shower and even raising his voice. Despite showing him the issue with the door's isolation, he claimed he had never encountered this problem before. He acknowledged it was their mistake only after one day when I showed him the problem again. He offered us another room on the first floor, but it was very noisy due to its proximity to the shops. When we asked to return to our initial room, he was rude again, claiming that we had used two rooms. Regarding cleanliness, the drapes were clean. Overall, I'd like to thank the blonde girl who showed great empathy and the guy who helped us to our room initially (I think he was the cleaner ). Unfortunately, the other staff member's behavior cost you this bad review.

We arrived on the 12th February. Denis along with his colleague were at the desk to great us. Staff have been really really helpful and made us feel welcomed. The hotel is situated in such a convenient place. We walked to the Great Blue Mosque, Sophia Mosque, The Great Mehmet Castle where he once lived and the Grand Bazaar! Honestly we didnt need to even get on the trams. Although if you wanted to its regular and near by to Alilass Hotel. Alilass is the place to stay especially if your a couple. Amazing food and shisha places around the hotel. I just want to say Thank you... to all the staff members for there kindness and for the amazing stay!

The staff were cold and not friendly. There were always people smoking underneath our window and smoke filled the room all night. The corridor also smelled like smoke. When this was mentioned to the staff nothing was done! Cleaning staff also sprayed the room with a strong cleaning smell that burned my nose. The roof top does not have a view also the coffee is overpriced and not good. I would not stay here again!

Visited Istanbul many times over the last few years, revisited again august 2024 and booked hotel alilass. Booking in process was very simple and easy, location is excellent, 5 minutes walk to the blue mosque and surrounding areas, also 5/10 minute walk to tram station. Multiple food options at the door step! Staff are excellent, friendly and always happy to help. Room is average size bedroom, with en-suite! Our shower was leaking however notified staff and this was resolved immediately. Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels. There are also loads of trips which can be booked via reception, myself and my partner opted for the massage which was amazing loved it, reception arranged everything and it was perfect. Breakfast option available too, good selection of food but also loads of breakfast places nearby. Location is excellent and staff are amazing!

Lovely small family run hotel in a very convenient location. We were able to walk to all the main attractions. Staff were very helpful & friendly. The hotel is in an excellent position for sight seeing. Major tourist places within easy walking distance. Lots of places to eat and drink on the doorstep. Very clean. Drink making facilities in room. Room was small but adequate/functional. Cleaned every day and linen changed. Would stay there again. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Very nice hotel, centrally located, close to many of the most interesting places to visit. The Blue Mosque is a less than 10 minutes walk away and from there you can easily reach the Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sofía, the Grand Bazar or the Topkapi Palace. The room is a tad small but I was by myself so no problem there. I wouldn't give them five stars just because it lacks an elevator so it's not accessible for everyone. Other than that I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend the Alilass Hotel.

L’hotel é una vera e propria bomboniera, con camere (la nostra era una base) non grandissime ma dotate di tutti i comfort (acqua tutti i giorni, prodotti beauty, tv, asciugacapelli). La posizione è assolutamente strategica, a due passi dalle moschee più importanti della città, dal Grand Bazar e dalla fermata del tram che può portarti ovunque (anche al porto di Galata dove prendere il traghetto che ti porta in Asia). Un’altra piccola pecca dell’hotel, oltre alla camere piccole, una colazione con poca scelta. Basica ma comunque non accettabile. Una nota di merito al personale: gentile, attento e disponibile a fornire consigli ed aiutare il cliente. Per tutti loro il voto è super!

Abbiamo soggiornato quattro notti in questa struttura. A pochi minuti dalla moschea blu e Santa Sofia ,in piena Sulthanamet,posizione molto comoda.Vicino ci sono ristoranti e supermercato.Hotel modesto,senza troppe pretese,non tanto grande,molto pulito sia nella camera che nelle zone comuni.Non c’è l’ascensore ,ma c’è un ragazzo che porta in camera i bagagli e,chiedendo ,li porta anche in reception al momento della partenza.Camera standard, silenziosa ,piacevole,letti comodi,armadio un po’ piccolo,ma per pochi giorni va più che bene.Abbiamo trovato pure le ciabattine di cortesia.Cassetta di sicurezza nell’armadio ,bollitore e occorrente per farsi te’ e caffè.Bagno abbastanza grande ,con una bella doccia spaziosa, flaconcini di shampoo e docciaschiuma ed erogatore di sapone liquido accanto al lavabo. Colazione servita in una struttura che ricorda una piccola serra,che si trova in un cortile interno ,dove ci sono pure tavolini con sedie .La colazione è abbastanza varia ,ci sono più cose salate che dolci,ma è buona.Le bevande vengono servite al tavolo ,mentre il resto è a buffet.C’è un piccolo bar e una zona divanetti per lettura .Personale cortese e molto disponibile.Una sera il Wi-Fi in camera non andava, allora ci hanno dato un’altra password per poter usare whatsapp in reception.Ci siamo trovati bene e lo consigliamo .

Great stay for a budget traveler who wants to be close walking distance to popular attractions. I was extra pleased with the lovely balcony in my 3rd floor room, where I could see the water. Breakfast was a lovely touch as well. Hotel staff were very helpful to me in booking an airport shuttle for only 15 euro. Taxis are also easy to use and access other parts of the city.

Good sized double room for Istanbul considering the price. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. They serve a good breakfast and the location is excellent. We've visited Istanbul a few times and Hotel Alilass is the first one we hope to book again next time.
