Comfort Suites Uniontown

The room was a mess, liquid spilled on walls, a big hole in the wall, the shower curtain was falling down, door handle for bathroom was loose, stained bedding, pool was dirty.

This is a great location, central to shopping and restaurants. Check in and check out were very easy, as was making our reservation. Our room and bathroom were clean, with beds that were clean but extremely firm. The breakfast was okay, with the usual basic fare. The pool area was the only real negative and I took off significant points for that. The water was cloudy and full of assorted debris. In addition to hairballs I removed a couple of hair ties, a large bead, and an old, rolled up bandage. The worst however was that one of the deep end pool lights was out of the pool, sitting on the edge of the pool (still attached by it’s electrical wires) with a yellow “Caution wet floor” sign over the top of it! I’m writing this so we obviously didn’t get electrocuted but we definitely would NOT have even gone in the pool if we’d seen that before getting into the shallow end. 😬

Hotel was older. The pool was not open during our stay and we were in informed of that. There was a very musky smell in the hotel. Front desk offered air freshener. Staff was very friendly and helpful (and over-worked) they had to do it all.

Beautiful hotel with all the amenities. Nice, Pool. Workout area very clean tasty breakfast very friendly, staff safe area, comfortable beds and very clean rooms. The only downside to this particular hotel is the speed of the elevator and it wasn’t that bad would definitely stay again.

Parking is great and perfect location for our needs. Room was out dated and kind of dirty. The beds were pretty good and location is why I have booked again. Only some of the outlets in the room.worked but, it worked out. The sofa looked liked it was picked up from a dumpster. Thank goodness we didnt need the sofa. The shower was okay, old but water worked well.

There was a line at check-in with no staff in sight for ten minutes or so. Room was relatively clean, but not great. Hallways and other public spaces were not clean. Chlorine odor from the pool was overwhelming on the ground floor.

Arrived at check in and booked a two bed with pullout kitchenette with stove top. Checked into the room and there was no stove top. Went downstairs and explained we needed a room with stove top as stated online. She said only king rooms have the stove top. So they moved us to the room. Then before arriving to the hotel I called about the pool and they said that the pool was cold but they would turn the heat up. Well the pool wasn’t just cold it was ice cold. They said that they needed a new heating element but didn’t say if they ordered the part. The pool wasn’t enjoyable but the kids swam for 10 minutes and got out. The internet was in and out but we couldn’t watch the pay preview on sat night and had to watch it in our phone. Then Sunday at around 9am someone tried to come into our room and good thing we had a chair and the top lock on cause they would have just walked in when we asked for a noon check out. The room over all was ok but did not have pots and pans. We had to buy some to cook. It’s a nice hotel if you don’t expect to swim but call before you book to make sure they fixed the pool.

Parking was secure. Location is grate. Aldi so close to the hotel.

Pool and room is nice..

The overall stay was good. The pool was out of order with no notice on website about its status. The room had sections that looks like they had need repaired and still had spackle marks. The toilet would occasionally make a filling noise but not enough to wake you during the night.

In Need of Renovations! Toilet seat fell apart! Faucet on vanity ready to fall off, used soap in shower. Loud with people out at picnic area, old sofa bed should be garbage. Room was not clean, someone's old sock by bed & wall. Terrible, worse room I ever stayed in!!

The property looks nice until you get to your room. The rooms smelled like mold and had stains on the wall that looked like someone gave up painting. The shower did not drain and was dirty. The sheets were dirty almost as if they just redid the beds after the last guest before us. We had to change one of our rooms because there was hair in the beds and the sofa bed was full of trash. The staff was nice and so was breakfast but it didn’t make up for the poor condition of the hotel.

We had to change roons due to the uncleanliness of the room, and the broken amenities of the room. In doing so, the newly assigned room was not fully furnished with no shower curtain and a dangerously supplies blow dryer connection, as well as no sink stopper. The room was cleaner than the previous, however detailed cleaning was not complete, as behind the night stand had trash from the previous clients. The dresser drawers in both rooms tenanted were dangerously always opened, due to the instability of the room level. We made the best of our stay. We were told that a compensation would apply, however, DID NOT! We will NEVER stay at a Comfort Suites again, especially our hometown Comfort. The only high ratings submitted pertain to the Breakfast. The food was excellent and the attendant ( female) was excellent , efficient, and kept the area very clean and she was great!

There was dried poo on the toilet seat. Blob of jello by the fridge. Torn up chair. No clean cloth towels and no wet wipe towels in the fitness room. Shower was hot and the bed was comfortable - which is what I needed.

Parking and unloading went smooth and than walking into a super clean room jus topped it off..... def will be back

The carpet was dirty in room, made our socks dirty. Room had a bad smell to it.

We were pleased with the service and the room. Everything was clean and comfortable. The room was quiet, and the bed had a good mattress. Breakfast was good.

Only one staff the young man who worked overnight saturday was visible and helpful there was clean towels / washcloths There was an abundance of evidence that other guest was in the room we stayed in . Ex: ice bucket top was filthy ,finger prints and smears on the headboard , water rings on the end table and coffee tables showing that cups was sitting there , sofa cushions not set in place and 1 was unzipped , sticky pink glitter in the shower handles got on my hand but i realized it was someones body wash or something , toilet seat not clean And I was actually OK with all of that it is a hotel i took a hot wash cloth and wiped everthing down WE CAME on this Trip FOR A TOUR /ACTIVITY ONLY ONE NIGHT STAY but my disgust came when we came back from the activity and wanted to sleep and noticed dirty linen at first glance looks like a proper made bed until we went to get into the bed the tucked parts of the linen was filthy OF Course white stains im not talking stains im talking dirty so I sat in the desk chair and then layed down in my car until the sun came up and we left. In hindsight I should have complained but i was so overwhelmed once i noticed the bed and recollected when we arrived you could see piles of linen on the floor next to laundry machine behind check in counter so my faith that i woud get clean placements was slim. Maybe staff is overwhelmed or there is a poor performer or 2 . Comfort levels are personal for me I need a clean bed to rest most importantly.

Room smells mildew

The hotel was filthy in every space including the room. The room was severely damaged, 49 degrees because they turn the heat off. The bed was dirty with hair all over it and the shower was stained black. The bathroom was filthy. I was traveling with my family and could not stand the condition of the room so I asked to move to another room. The new room was just as filthy and damaged and the heat didn’t work. We then were transferred to another room but found ourselves in the same scenario. We slept the night after giving up and woke up to the strongest smell of weed in the hall that entered our room. The smell filled the elevator all the way to the main lobby. This was the final straw and we requested a refund. The employees didn’t understand what the “big deal” was. Unbelievable. Stay away !!

The room was okay and the bathroom was spacious. We liked that it had a fridge and little “kitchen” area. The linens could have been a bit cleaner looking (stains) and the pillows on the bed are square - which was a bit hard to get used to. Overall though, the beds were still comfortable, the air conditioning good, and everything worked. I would stay again if in the area.

The room needed updating. The bathroom faucet was loose. The shower floor looked stained and dirty. The TV remote of sticky. Although the bedding looked and smelled clean, it was wrinkled. The heat/air conditioning controls on the wall did not work. Had to manually turn the a/c on from the unit. Very disappointed and will not stay at this hotel in Uniontown, PA again.

The room was spacious and it was convenient to my destination. The room however was not in good shape. I have to say, the bathroom, sheets, and towels and surfaces/counters were clean. However, the curtains were broken with holes in them and dirty, there were visible spots on the headboards and walls, there were paint chips missing all over, there was a picture missing on the wall and the two bolts where it was still there, the drawers on the TV stand didn't shut, the phone didn't work to call the desk, the toilet didn't flush and when it was "fixed" I was told, "it works better." There were two times I stood at the front desk and no one was around. However, the staff who were working were all helpful and pleasant. I can't say anything bad about my interactions. The hotel rooms just need some paint and cleanliness.

Our stay was nice, great location. Staff was very helpful with any requests. Only issue was slow / spotty WiFi.

Had to replace keys to room 3 times cause they wouldn’t work. The WiFi didn’t work at all

Management needs to look around. The property is old but they’re trying to keep it updated. However, the desk chair in our room was so tattered, it should be in the dumpster. The stairwells were filthy. There was a homeless person sleeping on the lobby couch in the morning when breakfast was put out. The 2nd room we had, had 2 tv’s. One didn’t work at all. Management needs to be inspecting rooms and common areas. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious.

The property is a bit dated. But the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was good, and the rooms were spacious with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. A good choice for the price.

This hotel seems to have been remodeled not that long ago but did not have maintenance since then. The walls had damage, the desk chair was destroyed. This made it seem less classy then it could have been. The window had no purpose since it only displayed the back side of the structure that was built outside th lobby entrance. There was some fighting at night and a very loud group during the day with kids running a lot in the hall way back and forth to the pool. It was a good price, but did not live up to my expectations for a comfort suites.

The staff was great

When I arrived, the desk clerk asked me to sign a waiver in case things in the room were damaged. He also asked me how I was paying for the room. When he gave me the paper, I told him that the room was paid for in advance. He told me it was not. I told him to look at the paper he wanted me to sign. My credit card information was on the paper. He saw it, looked on his computer for a few minutes, and said that it was paid. He gave me the passkeys to my room, so I thought. I went to the room and a light was on in between the beds. The beds were not made. There was a towel on the bathroom floor. There was luggage on the beds. The clerk gave me the passkey to a room that was currently in use. I went downstairs and told the clerk about his mistake, and he said he was going to handle it and that it was okay. I told him that it wasn't okay; that Pennsylvania is a gun-carry state for many folks, and that I could have been shot or attacked for going into someone else's room. He said that he would have called upstairs to straighten everything out, but I told him that he didn't move from the front, and that I could have been attacked before he intervened. This could have ended badly for me. The lack of action by the desk clerk made me uncomfortable in staying there. I thought he could give another customer my room passkey. I have no confidence in the hotel or this site in the future, especially since I can't give an honest review.

We were pleased with the service and the room. Everything was clean and comfortable. The room was quiet, and the bed had a good mattress. Breakfast was good.

Arrived at 2:30 for a wedding. Asked if we could check in a little early and were told no. Didn’t say why we couldn’t check-in 30 minutes early. I returned at 2:50 and asked to check-in and was again told no, not until 3. Even if I couldn’t get into the room until after 3 I wanted to be checked in so I could go directly to room at 3. The woman walked away from the desk and left myself and other guests standing in line waiting to check in and didn’t return until 3:05. Trying to prove a point? Or just being rude? When she finally checked us in she sent us to a room that was dirty and someone had to bring us up a key to another room. We paid for a king size bed and ended up with what looked to be two full size beds. There were also slot machines in the lobby and the front desk attendant was yelling at a customer trying to use them while she was checking us in. She also wasn’t wearing a uniform or ice clothes so it was hard to tell if she was a staff member.

We came inside and asked the guy at the desk if we were at the right address and he said he wasn't sure of the address. We noticed after we asked that a business card with the address was right beside him. We had to wait on the guy at the desk who was on the phone for 15 minutes helping someone. Thats not the issue. After standing there for 15 minutes, after an 8 hr car ride, he says, "you guys good?" No, we aren't good, you havnt checked us in yet. He barely even acknowledged our presence. If he would have just said, ill be with soon as I can that would have sufficed but he basically ignored us until we started getting a little annoyed. 3 other parties were also waiting to be checked in. Very disappointing!

Room was clean but hallway had mud tracked in and it wasn’t cleaned up the full 2 days we were there. Understaffed. Desk unattended

I really enjoyed breakfast because the lady was so nice and very attentive to details. Very clean plus the lady was very polite. Thank you. Hope the manager recognizes her for her good work.

I was there 4 nights. Room was never serviced in that time. No towels were brought to the room. I had to go get them every day. I asked to speak to a manager two days in a row. I was told no manager was on site both times.

I think the property is nice, safe, and good value for money. One thing I noticed is they are significantly understaffed, and I really feel sorry for them. It will be better if the management gets a few more people in housekeeping, and they will definitely earn a 5-star.

Room was very large and had everything we needed. Was a bit dated and could have been cleaner, but acceptable. Breakfast was typical and ok. Other guests had to ask for things to be replenished, and staff took care of it quickly. Our room needed some repairs - heater control, drawer, closet handle, but nothing that interfered with our one-night stay. Location was very convenient and we could walk to several eating areas.

Nice facility. Close to restaurants and stores. Clean and friendly. I would stay again.

Uniontown was conveniently located for our travels.

Nice large car park on arrival with a gas station across the way and plenty of eating places within walking distance. Hotel on the outside is nice and clean and well presented. Inside is the same with very nice welcoming staff at the front desk. Everything explained about times for complimentary breakfast and if you need ice or snacks. Room nice and large and clean with a sofa area and sink with coffee facilities. Large bathroom and shower with hairdryer. Bedroom spacious and Large tv with a selection of channels.

This hotel has a lot to offer for the price. Very large comfortable rooms and with a nice size bathroom with a huge shower with strong water pressure. Good location with lots of walkable food options and short drive to shopping. The only minor issue is hot breakfast option were not great.

This hotel is pretty average. A bit of remodel would help the aesthetics, as would a good cleaning in the halls and elevator. The room was clean, but smelled musty when you first walked in which isn't the best for someone with allergies or breathing problems. The location is great, several restaurants are close by and within walking distance. Good hotel for a quick stay.

Room ok. No water from the sink near the coffee maker. No hair dryer. At breakfast I asked for jam and cream cheese, that they always used to have, and the reply was that they don’t have them anymore. The attitude of the person at the counter was not exactly friendly. I have always stayed here but the service is going down.

The continental breakfast was disappointing. The coffee was barely warm, the scrambled eggs were awful; they went in the trash, the waffles were undercooked, and the biscuits were tough. Not a happy start to the day.

This was one of the nicest places we have stayed. The check in was the fastest I've ever had, the staff was helpful and amazing always! The room was wonderful and clean. The breakfast was beyond expectation. I have no issue at all and would stay there again.

Room was dated and many repairs needed, but beds were comfortable. Breakfast was awful. Eggs were gross and there was no fruit or yogurt. It was very minimal.

The only thing I had an issue with was after eating their breakfast I ended up getting food poisoning so please be careful

This was the best place we stayed by far. The room was like a suite, breakfast was great, the staff are very friendly and close to everything. Thank you for being affordable and clean for us.

The property was nice, quiet and clean. The breakfast was good. The breakfast attendant was exceptionally friendly and helpful. What a wonderful person!
