Perfect location put of the maddening crowd. Very nice walks from the motel. Great parking. Our room was perfectly equipped including a great kitchen. Very helpful owner.

We had a great stay at the Cromwell Harbor Motel. All of the staff we talked to were wonderful, and it shows that this is a family-owned establishment. The location is absolutely perfect - a short walk to town, but just out of town so it's very quiet at night. The rooms are huge and completely clean. All of the grounds, including the pool, look immaculate (although we didn't use the pool). Ample parking as well. Would definitely recommend!

Cromwell Harbor is the absolute perfect place to stay in Bar Harbor. It is a very quaint and cute motel tucked about a half mile out of downtown. The parking is very easy and the walk into downtown is even easier. There is even a creek next to the property. I would highly recommend!

The nice place to stay near Acadian Park. Very close to bus station and small stores in the city. A nice host. Spacious room. A microwave and a fridge in the room. I suggest to change either the table or the chairs, because they are different height and do not convinient to use. The bed is very hard, I prefer softer surface, so I put additional blanket underneath, it helped. The water in the pool is not heated, so it depends on the outside weather. Thanks for staying at your place.

This is probably the most meticulously maintained and cleaned room we have ever stayed in. Everything looked as if we were the very first to stay in a brand new room, but we weren’t. Everything worked. Very comfortable and quiet. Beautifully landscaped outside. Walkable within 15 minutes to entire downtown Bar Harbor. Great stay!

This place was absolutely immaculate. From the well manicured front lawn and beautiful flowers to the tidy rooms. Room was pretty basic but spacious and had what we needed. It was nice to sleep with the windows open and enjoy the cool night air. We felt very safe doing so. The location was about a 12 minute walk down the road to the shops and restaurants, which were plentiful. The hotel owner we interacted with was friendly, funny and welcoming. We would stay here again.

Check in was easy, The Motel was very nice , It was very nice inside the room. All and alll it was fantastic. the only very small negative was the bed. Little sag in middle.

The owner works very hard to maintain the property. The exterior appears to have had an upgrade. The room on the 2 nd floor ( no elevator) was very spartan. A wood table, 2 pull up wood chairs , an old dresser Circa mid 70s , the heat ing unit was extremely load and we needed to shut it off during the night because of the noise. and old bed linens. The room was clean but so lacking in comfort. There is a small dorm like fridge, micro and Mr Coffee no continental breakfast available on site or exercise room . It is a clean property but lacks a sense of comfort and ease .

This motel was clean, quiet, and convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia. The room was spacious and had a cute balcony for drinking coffee & early morning sun. It was a short 5-10 minute walk to the Main Street in Bar Harbor for shopping and restaurants. There was city road construction being done near the hotel but it did not interfere with our enjoyment of the property. This was our first time to Bar Harbor and we are in love with this little town. Our hotel location was within walking distance of restaurants, bars, parks and the water front. Yet, it was just far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. The hotel room and grounds were lovely and so clean. The pool was a nice surprise and we took advantage of the cool, clean water and comfy lounge chairs. The location was just a short drive down the road from Acadia and all the trails and easy coastal access. The hotel front desk was very friendly and had great recommendations for dining options. We even left an item behind and they were kind enough to mail it back to us. I highly recommend staying here. Clean, quiet, affordable, accessible. Thanks for making our weekend so peaceful and relaxing.

The motel is a very basic, old style motel. The person on duty at check in said that because we booked through Expedia, they should take care of us and she didn’t need to. The motel doubles their rates for this time of year and provides no room cleaning or make up despite our 4 day 3 night stay. Replacement towels and consumables are available if you fill out a check list. It’s a 10 -25 minute walk into town depending on your destination. The pool was closed

The room was good and clean. Nice location. Check out is at 10 and there was not much flexibility which was inconvenient for me as I had an online meeting and they didn’t allow me to stay to use the internet for my meeting.

Great location -- a quiet end of Main Street and only a short walk to the downtown Bar Harbor. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and cozy room with a patio. Easy free parking. Pool access. Fantastic spot, would stay again.

Very nice motel with very nice and helpful staff. Unfortunately there is road construction right now so a little detour to find it with the car. However you can still easily walk to town.

Very nice motel with very nice and helpful staff. Unfortunately there is road construction right now so a little detour to find it with the car. However you can still easily walk to town.

We had a great stay at the Cromwell Harbor Motel. All of the staff we talked to were wonderful, and it shows that this is a family-owned establishment. The location is absolutely perfect - a short walk to town, but just out of town so it's very quiet at night. The rooms are huge and completely clean. All of the grounds, including the pool, look immaculate (although we didn't use the pool). Ample parking as well. Would definitely recommend!

This was our first time to Bar Harbor and we are in love with this little town. Our hotel location was within walking distance of restaurants, bars, parks and the water front. Yet, it was just far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. The hotel room and grounds were lovely and so clean. The pool was a nice surprise and we took advantage of the cool, clean water and comfy lounge chairs. The location was just a short drive down the road from Acadia and all the trails and easy coastal access. The hotel front desk was very friendly and had great recommendations for dining options. We even left an item behind and they were kind enough to mail it back to us. I highly recommend staying here. Clean, quiet, affordable, accessible. Thanks for making our weekend so peaceful and relaxing.

Really liked this Inn, and it’s an Inn and nothing else. Slept really well here and would definitely recommend! Friendly owner, spacious rooms, easy parking and a short walk to the village. Really close to Acadia National Park, and the owner clearly informed what to do if you needed cleaning etc. which managed expectations. Nice little pool too but no breakfast. Should upgrade the quality of the towels and move away from plastic and paper cups, it’s 2024.

The owner works very hard to maintain the property. The exterior appears to have had an upgrade. The room on the 2 nd floor ( no elevator) was very spartan. A wood table, 2 pull up wood chairs , an old dresser Circa mid 70s , the heat ing unit was extremely load and we needed to shut it off during the night because of the noise. and old bed linens. The room was clean but so lacking in comfort. There is a small dorm like fridge, micro and Mr Coffee no continental breakfast available on site or exercise room . It is a clean property but lacks a sense of comfort and ease .

This motel was clean, quiet, and convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia. The room was spacious and had a cute balcony for drinking coffee & early morning sun. It was a short 5-10 minute walk to the Main Street in Bar Harbor for shopping and restaurants. There was city road construction being done near the hotel but it did not interfere with our enjoyment of the property. Cromwell Harbor Motel was everything we wanted in a home base while exploring the area.

Very nice place to stay in Bar Harbor, clean and comfortable and walking distance to just about everything. The owner was delightful and full of information about BH she’s born and raised on premise! I highly recommend the Cromwell Harbor Motel.

Great hotel in a convenient location, just a short walk to Bar Harbor. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Parking was easy, which was a huge plus! We loved being able to walk into town and avoid the difficult parking situation in Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again!
