Nice, Quiet and relaxing trip. We stayed in building 27 with a very short walk to the pool. Was told they were at 100% occupancy and yet it was very quiet.

We had a great time. While taking a walk around the property we noticed that the back side of the property was neglected. It was dirty, broken pots, lots of webs. I think it’s the part where they used to have timeshare presentations. I also think there should be iced water at pool areas.

Beautiful, roomy accommodations! Everything was very clean. The kitchen was fully appointed. The weather was so hot, we didn’t want to use the adult pool, as the water was hot, but not the resort’s fault. Staff were very polite and helpful. It is basically across the street from the JW Marriott. The rooms at Embarc were soooo much nicer, cleaner and 1/2 the price. I look forward to returning in a better season so we can use the amenities.

What an incredible Labor Day weekend we had at this lovely resort! The units themselves are spacious, well kept and tastefully decorated, and completely relaxing. Lots of details and touches that make this five star. (We even used the fireplace on the patio one night… because it was there!) The grounds and pools are gorgeous and we love that several are for adults. It was very warm but the umbrellas were on wheels and we would just shade ourselves while we stayed in the pool and read. Incredibly relaxing after hiking San Jacinto. We had been to this property more than 20 years ago when it was part of IntraWest. We were very excited to come back and it didn’t disappoint, in fact it was even better!

Centrally located, beautiful grounds and very well maintained. The only drawback is that checkin and early checkout and latest checkout is 11 which even the Westin Willows was much more generous.

This is the 6th time I have stayed here in the past 10 years... Overall conditions and cleanliness are continuously declining. From Intrawest to Diamond Resorts and now Hilton Grand Vacations - the resort keeps getting more run down.

We arrived in our room and it was 100 degrees inside due to the broken ac. We stayed in the room for about an hour while they try to fix the ac. We ended up moving rooms. Staff was great. I just wish they did a room check prior to guests arrival to ensure the room is ready.

I stayed in a 750 sqft room, spacious for the price, and it has everything you need in the kitchen. Driving to nearby business center was about 5-10 minutes. The hotel has 2 chargers for EV free for guests. 2 TV are smaller than many other hotels, about 32-36 inches but you can cast Netflix or anything on Chromecast. I don’t see this feature at other hotels. I paid through Orbitz in advance and got a discount which was lower than if paying at the hotel at the check in. I wanted to leave 1 day early but couldn’t because I paid through Orbitz. Orbitz agents tried to help me but could not talk to the hotel because they have a “policy … do not contact “. They suggested I talk directly to the hotel but the hotel said they couldn’t do much because I paid Orbitz. So, I got the runaround. Anyway I am happy with the stay, but wish Hilton Hotel and Orbitz could be more transparent in their policies online.

The weather was so hot, we didn’t want to use the adult pool, as the water was hot, but not the resort’s fault. Staff were very polite and helpful. It is basically across the street from the JW Marriott. The rooms at Embarc were soooo much nicer, cleaner and 1/2 the price. I look forward to returning in a better season so we can use the amenities.

I stayed in a 750 sqft room, spacious for the price, and it has everything you need in the kitchen. Driving to nearby business center was about 5-10 minutes. The hotel has 2 chargers for EV free for guests. 2 TV are smaller than many other hotels, about 32-36 inches but you can cast Netflix or anything on Chromecast. I don’t see this feature at other hotels. I paid through Orbitz in advance and got a discount which was lower than if paying at the hotel at the check in. I wanted to leave 1 day early but couldn’t because I paid through Orbitz. Orbitz agents tried to help me but could not talk to the hotel because they have a “policy … do not contact “. They suggested I talk directly to the hotel but the hotel said they couldn’t do much because I paid Orbitz. So, I got the runaround. Anyway I am happy with the stay, but wish Hilton Hotel and Orbitz could be more transparent in their policies online.

Nice, Quiet and relaxing trip. We stayed in building 27 with a very short walk to the pool. Was told they were at 100% occupancy and yet it was very quiet.

Beautiful, roomy accommodations! Everything was very clean. The kitchen was fully appointed. The weather was so hot, we didn’t want to use the adult pool, as the water was hot, but not the resort’s fault. Staff were very polite and helpful. We had a great time. While taking a walk around the property we noticed that the back side of the property was neglected. It was dirty, broken pots, lots of webs. I think it’s the part where they used to have timeshare presentations. I also think there should be iced water at pool areas.

Many things to like about this property but also some dislikes. Lots of sand around so my expensive sports car was covered in sand each day so lots of trips to the car wash. I will not bring my nice car to this resort again. Smoke alarm goes off from cooking bacon , for 20+ minutes, very annoying. Annoying time share people at the front “gift desk”. There is no gift, they just try and get you to do a timeshare presentation. I’m a Hilton vacation Club owner and I think this property is overpriced on points, especially for late June (9500 points for a 1BRfor a week) It is a pretty desert property and the pools are outstanding. The furniture is old and dated and has a southwest feel. The outdoor shower is a nice touch. Chances are low I will stay here again even though I come to this city on golf vacations twice a year.

We were very disappointed with our stay at the Hilton Vacation Club resort in Palm Desert. The property was not at all what we expected from the Hilton name or from what was presented during booking. Our unit was placed at the very end of the property, next to what appeared to be a junk or storage area in the parking lot. It felt isolated and neglected, and it was roughly a quarter mile from the main clubhouse. There is also no restaurant, café, snack bar, or meaningful food service anywhere on the property, so guests must drive several miles just to get a basic meal or snack or any other food service. The clubhouse itself offered little more than coffee. We were told there would occasionally be snacks or light offerings during the week, but we never saw any of that during our stay. What stood out most was the aggressive sales atmosphere immediately upon arrival. Before we could even comfortably check in, the concierge launched into a strong sales pitch for a 90-minute presentation in exchange for Hilton points. The interaction felt highly commission-driven and uncomfortable. Once we declined, the concierge’s attention shifted instantly to other guests, which left us feeling more like sales targets than valued customers. The property itself is clearly older and not especially well maintained. The doors and seals were poor, and we dealt with ants, spiders, and mosquitoes inside the unit throughout our stay. Overall, this did not feel like a Hilton hotel experience.
