Makarun Heritage Rooms

Vår vistelse på Makarun Heritage Rooms i Split var verkligen en upplevelse utöver det vanliga. Från det ögonblick vi steg av båten och möttes av Ivan, som vänligt och hjälpsamt kom för att ta emot oss, visste vi att detta skulle bli en fantastisk vistelse. Ivan var otroligt hjälpsam och såg till att vi kände oss välkomna från första stund. Rummet var både charmigt och stiligt inrett, med en modern och bekväm design. Det var extremt rent och väl underhållet, vilket verkligen gjorde att vi kände oss som hemma. Läget var också helt perfekt – mitt i hjärtat av Split, vilket gjorde det enkelt att utforska staden till fots. Frukosten var utmärkt! Ett utbud av både lokala och internationella delikatesser, allt fräscht och tillagat med omsorg. Det som verkligen satte Makarun Heritage Rooms i en klass för sig var den exceptionella servicen. De säkerställde att vi alltid trivdes och inte saknade något under hela vår vistelse. Det kändes verkligen som en personlig upplevelse, och vi kan varmt rekommendera detta ställe till alla som söker en fantastisk plats att bo på i Split. Sammanfattningsvis, Makarun Heritage Rooms är ett absolut måste när man besöker Split. Perfekt läge, fantastisk service, otroligt bra rum och en underbar frukost – allt sammantaget gör detta till ett 10/10-val. Vi kommer definitivt att återvända hit nästa gång vi är i Split!

We spent five of the most wonderful days of our holiday at this lovely boutique hotel, and none of us wanted to leave at the end. Everything about this lovely hotel exceeds expectations, from the accommodations, to the food and the outstanding service. If you want to be pampered on your visit to Split, you must book the Hotel Makaran! We loved it so much that we actually cancelled one of our day trip excursions so that we could have time for an authentic cooking experience on the beautiful rooftop with Mario and Baba. We cooked, ate and drank the best Croatian food & wines - the experience could not have been better! In addition, Ivan was the most incredibly attentive service provider, offering us insider tips to make our time in Split extra special! Also, the 4 course breakfast is exceptional! We wish all who stay here as lovely a time as we had! We cannot wait to return!

Et nydelig lite hotell i gamlebyen. Personalet var svært serviceinnstilt, langt ut over det man kan forvente. Og de hadde den mest fantastiske frokosten jeg noen sinne har spist, den må oppleves. Greit rom med nyoppusset bad og hyggelig restaurant-område.

We arrived with 2 other couples what a little gem of a place. Mario organised a staff member to meet us at the port and take us and our luggage to the rooms. We were greeted with coffees and the families own brandy( very good). Our rooms were ready by 10am, during that time we were given a talk on where to go and what to see, recommendations for places to eat. The whole place is modern with all the traditional atmosphere. Our rooms were beautiful with all the finishing touches of a 5* hotel.. nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff who made you feel very special,the food was equally 5*. Everywhere was within a few minutes walking distance. The 5 course breakfast was delicious using all locally sourced ingredients, the dirty eggs were cooked to perfection and delicious. ( never had them before) The evening atmosphere was something else in this quaint courtyard. We came back from an evening out and the restaurant was busy with locals eating and Mario insisted we all had cheese, ham , coffees and local liqueurs before bed, how special was that!! Even our airport transport was organised like clockwork and the driver gave us a history lesson on route. We cannot recommend the beautiful place enough and will be recommending it to our family and friends
