What a stunning and charming historic hotel in the heart of Palo Alto. The staff is fantastic, the hotel decor and style is gorgeous and unique, the rooms are beautifully decorated and appointed and the roof-top lounge is a must for the view and a drink by the fire. Very nice place to stay and very friendly staff, Location is amazing close to anything you really want Only drawbacks are it can get very loud at nights especially when the garbage trucks collecting garbage around 4am. Also there is no gym in hotel and no other option for workout during your stay. Maybe they can partner with some of the gyms nearby.

Perfect. Was so glad I stayed here instead of the property around the corner where I was for a conference and which as 3x more expensive. I love the antique Otis elevator but did have a hard time using it. It took me some time to realize that there are two elevators. Would love to stay here again!!!

Staff was very nice and the hotel was gorgeous. We had a great night of sleep the two nights we stayed there. The linens smelled amazing. The rooftop bar is fun to hangout and even though our roof was near, it wasn't noisy. If I'm back in Palo Alto, I definitively plan to stay there again.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The cafe staff were not attentive really at all. Our breakfast was served to our table in parts (one of our party had to wait almost 10 minutes longer for their food). The bill was incorrect and we had to get it fixed even though we showed them the coffee tokens we had... they charged us for 4 coffees and we only had 3 coffees and those were supposed to be complimentary. The room was extremely small. At 7:30 we got a knock at the door that someone stated they had left something in the safe in the room. They claimed we had called. It was just small things but they add up.

Rooms were small but very comfortable, staff very pleasant and helpful , room service would be nice. Note if you’re on the 6th floor there is music from the rooftop bar above until 10pm on the weekends ( good to know). Overall good vibe and great location!

Gorgeous- fantastic quality! The bathroom light was a bit dim for applying makeup, but very flattering. The windows aware original single pane, so I could hear road noise on the 3rd floor. I am sensitive to noise though. If a semi idled on the side street it kept me awake. 😩 Otherwise, my stay was flawless.

Super friendly staff! Very accommodating when we had issues with the tv in our original room - offered to switch rooms for us right away because they still had space available. Also was very nice about my check out requests. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel!

No one was at the front counter to check us in. I had to go to the next door restaurant to ask for help. A restaurant staff person came over to knock on the door of the hotel office staff behind the front counter and no one was on the office there either.

We added an extra day to our stay and so I ended up with multiple reservations. When we checked in we were assured that we wouldn’t have to move/recheck on Saturday. In fact I even downgraded my room so as not to have to move. The ne t day we had a wedding and celebration that went quite late & arrived back around 10.30-11 and couldn’t get into our room. The front desk person insisted we didn’t have a room and that we could buy a room at a much higher price even though we explained we had already paid and our stuff was still in the room. Eventually we got it sorted but it was an anxious 40+ minutes the took the shine off a long but otherwise delightful day.

Very nice place to stay and very friendly staff, Location is amazing close to anything you really want Only drawbacks are it can get very loud at nights especially when the garbage trucks collecting garbage around 4am. Also there is no gym in hotel and no other option for workout during your stay. Maybe they can partner with some of the gyms nearby.

This hotel is in a great location in Palo Aalto, near lots of restaurants and shops and very close to Stanford. It’s a really cool, funky space (love the rooftop bar) and the staff is amazing. Aylin at the front desk was especially helpful, but everyone here is friendly and helpful. Great hotel!

What a stunning and charming historic hotel in the heart of Palo Alto. The staff is fantastic, the hotel decor and style is gorgeous and unique, the rooms are beautifully decorated and appointed and the roof-top lounge is a must for the view and a drink by the fire. Would 100% recommend. This hotel a total gem.

It was odd that the service staff was using the main elevator, I had to stop at multiple floors, multiple times, for the service staff to lug their materials into the elevator. Breakfast took way too long to serve simple items.

Wonderful decorations and ambiance and friendly staff. I had issues checking in because I booked through Hotels.com, and some of the younger and inexperienced staff had trouble helping me. Management is great. Cute breakfast cafe with good food but inexperienced staff. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Queen rooms are perfect for 1 but would be too small for 2. Water pressure leaves something to be desired. Rooftop has a great vibe, but drinks are extremely overpriced and tasteless. Overall would stay again.

A really special property - so very well apointed ! The staff is incredible and goes well beyond - from the hosts at the checkin desk, to the bartender at the rooftop bar, to the gentleman that served me coffee and breakfast to go in the hotel dining on the ground floor.. it all made for a memorable experience!

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was kind and helpful and the roof top bar was a big bonus. I wish we had more time up there. My only complaint was the mattress because it sagged a bit in the middle.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The cafe staff were not attentive really at all. Our breakfast was served to our table in parts (one of our party had to wait almost 10 minutes longer for their food). The bill was incorrect and we had to get it fixed even though we showed them the coffee tokens we had... they charged us for 4 coffees and we only had 3 coffees and those were supposed to be complimentary. The room was extremely small. At 7:30 we got a knock at the door that someone stated they had left something in the safe in the room. They claimed we had called. It was just small things but they add up.

This place is super cute and cozy. The room was exactly as expected, quiet, comfortable. The gals at the restaurant were great! They were lovely to chat with and made me feel right at home, like I was a local. My steak was perfect and they helped me find a wine that I liked. I would for sure stay here again if I have the chance.

I stayed because of a high school reunion in the area. The Graduate was exactly what I was looking for. A sense of the past with fun interior design. The room was very quiet and clean. The staff was available but also left me alone. I could come and go with a sense of safety. Location was perfect if you want restaurants right outside your door. A plus, the fantastic Presidents Terrace on the roof with sweeping views and great cocktails and small bites. I loved the stay.

We booked a king sized bed , when we arrived we were shocked to see what looked like a full. The room itself was also a lot smaller than photographed. When we asked about it the front desk staff wasn’t very helpful and gave us attitude. There wasn’t even enough space for our luggage without stepping over it . We were told that nobody ever complained about the space but the reviews say otherwise and we overheard another family requesting ta larger room the next day. Bar was completely booked for outside people which was the only real space available other than the room at the hotel. Very expensive to include no amenities…not even a laundry service. Also the shower kept clogging.

Beautiful and fun hotel. Nice location. Make a point to check out the rooftop bar. F&B pricey, but that’s par for the course in Palo Alto. I wish they had a “normal” coffee pot in the room vs a fancy pour over and free lobby coffee would be nice. We hope to return next year.
