Beautiful hotel, but was overbooked so we couldn’t eat at the restaurants on site. If you are a tourist at the hotel, you will be treated differently. Stayed 14 nights

We had booked 14 days at Cumeja - Beach Club & Hotel. Sadly, it turned into the worst experiences we've ever had at a hotel. When we arrived, our room was in a disgraceful state: used towels, hair in the shower, and a general lack of cleanliness. At the bar, glasses were not properly washed; the staff simply rinsed them briefly and served drinks in visibly dirty glasses. Worse still, there were loud parties on the premises with music and shouting until late at night, making sleep impossible. We woke up to empty bottles and glasses scattered everywhere. What was meant to be a peaceful getaway felt more like chaos. We decided to leave early the next morning, as it was impossible for us to enjoy our stay under such conditions. We requested a refund for the remaining days we did not use. Not only did the hotel refuse to refund us, but they also tried to intimidate us into staying silent — making it clear they did not want us sharing our experience publicly. We are sharing this review precisely because no guest should be treated this way. A hotel should provide a clean and safe environment and handle complaints professionally, not with threats. We strongly advise against booking a stay at Cumeja - Beach Club & Hotel

The hotel is beautiful and the beach amazing, the problem is that you have to pay to use it. The pool seems to be great but you can't swim without a cap, and they don't provide one (not available to buy or rent either). The hotel is a wedding location so fireworks at 2am and loud music every night during my stay (4 nights in August). Not a tourism relaxing hotel, the focus is weeding party and guests.

Beautiful property. Lovely staff, particularly Alfredo in the bar. Sadly, the food was not to our taste. We ate in the dining room twice, our first meal was poor - seafood pasta gooey and overly fishy. Seabream so salty almost inedible. Our second meal was much better, spectacular lamb and pulled pork. Regardless, we enjoyed our experience but would suggest servers do a quality check on the meals.
