Tritoni Mini Studios - Valletta

They have luggage store & it was plus point for us. The rest as it shown on the pictures. Everything was good. Thanks a lot

The wifi did not work and there was no laundry as advertised. The room i stayed in had constant loud banging sounds from the room the table was broken and the bed frame also broken and scratched my leg causing it to bleed; but i was able to switch rooms the second day. The road one street down is under construction so no cars could get through to the actual location. The cleaning staff were very nice, about half the office staff were nice, the others were somewhat rude and annoyed to speak english, but very few people from outside malta speak Maltese so this is maybe a bit unreasonable. Overall it was a good stay it was nice to have a little studio where i could cook make tea and heat up left overs etc. The water in the showers was very hot, the heating and cooling units worked very well

No elevator to all floors. Nothing worked and no one to help. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy.

Not as advertised, avoid We were meant to receive self check in instructions at the latest 30 mins before check in. We were left waiting for hours outside the apartment, unable to contact the host. We contacted hotels.com who also were unable to contact the host. Hours and hours later after we had wasted precious holiday daylight we finally received check in details. When we arrived the lift didn’t work, the smart TV didn’t work (apparently cut off by the provider) AND the washing machine facility (one of the reasons we booked this place) was “out for maintenance” the whole apartment smelled damp and the walls in the bathroom were covered in black mold. The AC did work which was nice Later that evening 00:25 at night, I received notification that the host was unable to receive us at all and to call hotel.com to arrange something else….. of course it was far to late to book anything at this time!

I LOVED this place. Renovated inside with old outside. There were some teething issues to start with but they were on hand (via WhatsApp) to communicate with you and sort it out. It is about 11 mins walking distance to the Capital. They have a rooftop overlooking the harbour, highly recommended (it does not have a safety rail. so I assume they will put one in once they read this). Malta is beautiful and will come go back there again and will stay in this apartment. When you get there, there are 2 panel codes on the wall.. one on the left side and one on the right side. You ONLY need to use the one on the left side (rubber tab on the black box and the code will be revealed) .. enter the code they advise you on there, it will open the box and the key to the front door is in there... open the door and then put the key back and turn the code so that the box door is locked so no one else who does not live there can open the door. Now when you get to your door, there are also 2 codes panels on the wall. You ONLY need to use the touch pad on the flat wall (as the other is a 4 digit bike code style (same as the black box downstairs on entry). Enter the code and press # and the door to your room will open. Enjoy!

The linen was not smelling like fresh

Vi boede på Tritoni Studios, I Valletta, Malta, i den første uge i april 2025. Værelset/lejligheden var okay fin, men bar tegn efter billigt renovering af egendommen. Men prisen var lav, så det kunne vi ikke klage over. Dog var der håndværkere i bygningen det meste af ugen, hvilket larmede en del med maskiner udenfor, og folk på øverste sal. Lejligheden ligger nær havnen i Valletta, i en flot gammel bydel. Der er dog forholdsvist langt til bylivet og indkøbsmulighederne, hvilket gjorde at vi fortrød at have booket der.

Communication through hotels.co. portal was great before our arrival date. The day we got there, the shower drain was very slow. It took more than 3 hours for it to drain. The sink in the bathroom also drains slow, about 30 minutes to drain. The table built in behind th door was broke. The internet goes out every minutes. I tried calling hotel management but no answer. I tried to communicate through hotels.com portal no response. The bathroom smells like piss the next day. We have to keep the bathroom lights and exhaust to minimize the smell. The location is okay.

It’s clean and comfortable for a couple nights … shower does not drain properly and needs attention… room is small and comfortable was not a big concern for us .. nice little walk into Valletta .. bus station near … and couple nice local bars … we paid for panoramic view .. I think should be changed as nothing panoramic about view which is misleading… a small balcony but cannot sit on as not enough room but was ok 👌

The location was fine but the room was awful de luxe studio ??? It was small, narrow. Nothing to cool the drawers were all shaky, the tv did not work .. I ended up being moved to an other room and the toilet did not flush .. we had to use the trash can and fill it up with water .. very romantic for a valentine day week end also the ceiling had mold I actually would like a full refund !

The location was great - a short walk into Valletta & to the bus station/stop to go elsewhere around the island. It was also situated on a quiet road traffic wise, but also near a little convenience store. The room itself was a little studio and contained most things you needed. However, there were a few issues - the TV didn't work (I didnt chase this up since don't normally watch). At first the heater also didn't work. I did mention this on the first day, but didn't get a reply, but then after a very cold spell, I called the office and then somebody was helpful and sent a technician the next day to sort this, so at least I had some heating for the rest of my stay. Also, the kettle had a european plug, but of course only 3 pin sockets in the wall. I again did originally Whatsapp this issue, but no response, but again when I spoke to someone they were more apologetic & helpful and did provide an adapter the following day so that I could use the kettle. On one day, after a staff member or cleaner had been in, my door was left open a little which I wasn't happy with. I don't believe anyone went in, but the doors need to be closed well. The main issue however was the lack of soundproofing as this was a key selling point for me. You could hear other people talking, closing doors (inside&outside ones), the water running through the pies & toilets flushing, the wind howling around the building. It was a particularly bad storm, but stlll was very loud. In all was good stay

Overall stay was good, just one complaint, the internet was terrible for the whole stay. If someone really needs to stay connected this is not the place for you. On the other han location was pretty decent you can walk to Valleta main attractions.

The first part of our trip to Valetta, we stayed in a very tiny studio - Room 7. It has all the amenities (fridge, stovetop, microwave, kettle, dishes...) but is very small for 2 people. Location is OK, in Floriana, a bit out-of-the-way, so very quiet, but close enough to Valetta and bus terminal, which is why we always stay in Floriana...We had been to Tritoni Hotel in previous years and though to try the Studios, I think we'll go back to the Hotel instead next time. But still love Tritoni.

Small with tiny window for ventilation. Why send many photos when this is not what we expected. I'd dread to think what standard is.like!

Misleading Description, Unresponsive Management – Avoid Trittoni Suites We recently booked three rooms through Expedia—one at Trittoni Suites in Valletta and two at The Borgo Suites. Unfortunately, our experience at Trittoni Suites was extremely disappointing. The listing for Trittoni Suites is completely misleading. The unit was much smaller than described, and there was active construction both inside the building and directly next door, making it nearly impossible to relax or feel comfortable. Within two hours of checking in, we contacted reception to explain that the property was not as advertised. They refused to help, and the manager, Pedro, would not speak with us directly despite multiple requests. We decided to leave the property that same day and notified the staff accordingly. Shockingly, the property is now falsely claiming that we stayed for the full duration and is refusing to issue any refund. Our follow-up messages to management went unanswered for over a week. We eventually had to escalate the matter to Expedia to try to resolve the situation. We’ve traveled extensively and rarely leave reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. Between the false advertising, unhelpful staff, and lack of accountability, we strongly advise against booking Trittoni Suites.

Établissement parfaitement situé et au calme. Pas très loin du quartier historique et de la station de bus centrale de La Valette. Personnel que j’ai eu au fil très gentil. Je recommande cet établissement 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍.

Great area. Out of the bustle of Valletta but 10 minute walk to the city and less to main bus station. Floriana also had stops for most of the buses as well. There was local shopping for basic items and there is a full supermarket in Valletta about 15-20 minute walk away. Living in a local area was very authentic, although if you want to be in the middle of things perhaps not for you. If you are a walker it is very easy to get around and I loved the unspoilt architecture. Staff accessible but having no one on site for queries did prove a nuisense if you had an issue. The access codes to the building and your room should be sent out earlier, e.g. the beginning of the day as I arrived with no internet connection on my phone and could not get the email until I rang someone and connected to the buildings wifi. However prior communication was very good and clear and there was always someone at the end of the phone. The rooms are clean, and very adequate but more ideal for one than a couple as are small. Overall after I settled in I loved my stay there but it may not be for everyone.

Perfect area tucked away within a 10 minute walk of amazing Valletta. The neighborhood was warm and special, like being a few blocks out of downtown Florence.

Once I’d got in, the accommodation was comfortable and quiet. Only a 10min walk from Valletta centre.
