We were fortunate with the weather and had excellent days locally in Lavenham, Boxford, Long Melford and Sudbury itself. Further afield we visited Constable Country - Flatford and Dedham. We also had a very instructive day at Sutton Hoo. Although we live in Somerset, we had never visited this area before so it was all a real pleasure. Our Australian friends, with whom we shared the rental, also hugely enjoyed it all. The cottage was perfect for our needs. Just one small quibble - there seemed to have been a mix-up between cottages.com and our hosts (Alex and Alex) because they weren't expecting us when we arrived on the Monday. Alex (female) had to rush out an purchase our welcome pack! Otherwise no problem at all!

Fantastic stay, hosts very welcoming and friendly, beautiful, quiet location. The Coach House has everything needed for short and longer stays. Comfortable huge beds and massive powerful shower. Fantastic walks in the beautiful countryside
