Really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in the immediate area and felt safe too. Staff and hotel could not be faulted. Room service on two occasions and both was delicious and fast. Only thing is the pool area has nowhere really to sit or lie in the sun if you wish to. There’s only 3 loungers that are in the pool directly in the sun. Apart from that minor issue, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in the area.

This was a beautiful property. We felt very safe. They provided prompt and friendly service. The only downfall was the pol was closed during our stay and we were not notified prior to our arrival. We looked forward to the beautiful pool and bar, but sadly we were not able to experience it. However they did provide us with a pass to the Hyatt Regency, but their pool was very underwhelming. It did not have a bar, it seemed like an apartment complex pool.

Excellent location, good vibe and overall amenities. A bit pricey for what you get and the pool is a bit of a let down. Would appreciate more places to lay down and lounge.

We selected this hotel because it had an outdoor pool and we and my daughter would love to end our days at the rooftop pool and restaurants. We were told upon arrival the pool was closed for a month. I had booked the hotel only two weeks before. No pool closure was noted. I checked the hotels.com listing again and it still advertised an outdoor pool. This was a huge disappointment and the reason we chose this pool among other competing hotels. We were offered passes at a non heated cold indoor pool at an aging facilities across town (25 min Uber ride) at the Hyatt—this was a sad consolation. Originally given a room on the first floor the noise from the street including ambulances and car alarms and gates for deliveries was terrible. We also heard music from the restaurant and bar that had been moved from the roof to the area below us through the walls. After complaining about the noise we were told we would be moved on the next day to the 16th floor. We packed up our bags and on our way out for the day confirmed we were being moved. We were then told we were being moved to the second floor. When we said this was completely unacceptable and would not reduce the noise enough. After asking to speak to a manager, on the spot they refound the room on the 16th floor and we were able to move. They then brought us the wrong bags an hour later. And the room was still very very loud I believe the windows are thin - car alarms etc. We will not stay here again.

We booked a two bedroom room. When we arrived (one hour after check-in) we were told that our room wouldn't be ready for a few hours. We could wait for one hour and get a room with one bed. Rooftop bar and pool are closed for renovation (isn't this a fairly new hotel??? Why renovating already??) So they were offering to let people go to a Hyatt hotel somewhere nearby for a swim. Guess this was causing delays in checking out. Seems like a huge mess. Received two free massages for it. Room was alright, nothing special. Kind of on the smaller end. A huge pillar one one side that took up extra space. Bathroom was not closed off from the room. Every call to room service took multiple calls and over one hour. Overall, for a brand that is supposed to be a "luxury" hotel, not worth the extra money. Location wasn't bad, fairly central with a quick Uber trip to Roma and 10 minute walk to cafes in Condessa.

Clean, comfortable and modern room. Very nice hotel, gorgeous roof top pool but disappointing the main area around the pool gets taken up by the roof top bar and doesn’t allow for areas to lounge in the sun. The roof top bar is very cute though!

An amazing hotel with beautiful design in a great neighbourhood. The design details are impeccable throughout the hotel. The rooftop pool is small but offers incredible views and is a highlight. The gym is modern and I particularly liked the Peloton treadmills. All the communal areas of the hotel are stunning with thoughtful details but the rooms themselves are a little corporate. They are also quite gloomy and would benefit from more lighting and colour.

The top pool area was very small and not amenable to relaxing. The rooftop bar didn’t seem very open and the service at the Wooftop was slow and the bar is a pain to get to.

Había animalitos en la cama, que asco. Su opción fue cambiarnos de cuarto y no darnos la cara. También encontramos botellas vacías, ah y una uña que evidentemente no era nuestra porque usamos gelish. Si me dio asquito en general estar ahí, es más mi reserva era de 2 días y me quedé una, prefería decirle a una amiga que si no quería estar ahí (obvio no le conté los animalitos) para no desaprovechar la estadía.

The Andaz Mexico City Condessa Hotel is beautiful, very modern and spotless. The rooms, gym, cafe and roof restaurant were all delightful. The staff was attentive, friendly and extremely professional at all times of the day and night. I could not have picked a better place to stay, and will tell everyone they must stay there. It was amazing.

This property was beautiful and all of the staff was amazing. The rooms are both spacious and extremely clean. It’s located in a very nice and safe neighborhood. It’s a short drive to all of the shopping and main events. There are many super nice places to eat and drink within walking distance. The only thing I did not care for was the breakfast buffet was a bit overpriced and not the best food.

Had a terrible experience at this hotel during thanks giving holidays. Hotel rooms (I changed two rooms) were nasty and showers had hair and dirt from other guests. They didn’t even bother cleaning rooms. This hotel is super old (with new facade) and the heat system is central for the whole floor! So every two hours I had to call reception and beg them to turn the heat on and after two hours automatically switches to cool in the middle of winter. They gave me a space heater and given this building being ancient old every time I plugged in the space heater the fuse was blown! The “engineers” took a look and said two rooms share same circuit and I have to wait for other room to stop using electricity so that o can use my heater! Reception and hotel management were cold and irresponsible. They didn’t even ask about my issues at the check out. I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone who travels and cares about their comfort.

The hotel is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spotless, the food in the rooftop bar/restaurant was delicious and all the staff were super friendly and helpful! When I come back to Mexico City I will definitely be staying here!

Good/ average property. There's not a lot of lighting in the room and there was a smell in the bathroom. Once the lighting is fixed, the property may have more appeal. The amenities are nice: coffee shop/spa & gym.

I can't thank Andaz enough for such a fantastic stay during our time in Mexico City. The rooms are lovely, the service and staff are super attentive and caring. The hotel itself has a great vibe, with a bar downstairs, cafe next to the lobby, another pet-friendly cafe upstairs and a rooftop bar and pool. A couple things to note is that the standard rooms do not have private bathrooms/toilets in the room - there is only a thin glass door. This didn't bother us, but my in-laws upgraded their room so they could have a proper door for the bathroom. The only frustrating thing for us was the use of the pool, which was almost always severely crowded. There are only two sunbeds in the sun, which means otherwise you have to sit at a table - not a big deal, but if you're planning an afternoon to lounge in the sun, it doesn't exactly work. I have to commend, also, the ladies working at the Spa. The lady who cut my hair and did my nails was fantastic, and it was really well priced. We really enjoyed our stay here and in fact extended it at Andaz when our travel plans to another area in Mexico fell through. Andaz let us keep our room and were very helpful.

The only downside for us was our room was located on the 1st floor facing the street so there was a lot of noise especially traffic, throughout the night. Otherwise we had a beautiful stay and the service was exceptional.

We booked a two bedroom room. When we arrived (one hour after check-in) we were told that our room wouldn't be ready for a few hours. We could wait for one hour and get a room with one bed. Rooftop bar and pool are closed for renovation (isn't this a fairly new hotel??? Why renovating already??) So they were offering to let people go to a Hyatt hotel somewhere nearby for a swim. Guess this was causing delays in checking out. Seems like a huge mess. Received two free massages for it. Room was alright, nothing special. Kind of on the smaller end. A huge pillar one one side that took up extra space. Bathroom was not closed off from the room. Every call to room service took multiple calls and over one hour. Overall, for a brand that is supposed to be a "luxury" hotel, not worth the extra money. Location wasn't bad, fairly central with a quick Uber trip to Roma and 10 minute walk to cafes in Condessa.

Check in person was not pleasant This hotel is over rated. I paid for a room with view and got a room on 6th floor looking at a roof top of other buildings and 8 story building looking into my room and for privacy I had to close the curtains all times. Also there is huge beam in the middle of the room. Pool was closed for 3 days . We didn’t have internet for 24 hours. To access the gym or restaurant you had to use 2 elevators / escalator and the Gym didn’t even have water. Overall this is definitely a 4 star hotel and not worth the price you pay.

Essentially they had no solution other than offering free breakfast. Of note, my wife and I were traveling for our 40th birthdays and were away without the kids for the first time in 7 years. Understanding they probably had no ability to offer us our originally booked king bed room, we accepted the daily breakfast for four mornings. Compliments to the wait staff there, especially Hugo, who made our morning routine exceptional. The room was loud on some nights. There was a wedding one night and guests in rooms beside us were very loud at 2-3am and banging on our door. Despite the complaints, the hotel is in a very convenient and central location and we had an amazing time in Mexico City.

I love this place. Everything is beautiful. If you have a dog, this is also the place to stay! Only I wish the windows were noise proof as I can hear street sounds. But I would definitely return back!!

An amazing hotel with beautiful design in a great neighbourhood. The design details are impeccable throughout the hotel. The rooftop pool is small but offers incredible views and is a highlight. The gym is modern and I particularly liked the Peloton treadmills. All the communal areas of the hotel are stunning with thoughtful details but the rooms themselves are a little corporate. They are also quite gloomy and would benefit from more lighting and colour.

The stay was amazing and the workers were awesome up until it was time to leave. I asked for a taxi and the front desk said they would call someone. Not knowing the average price of the ride from the hotel to the airport, I said ok to the price. As I expected a taxi, I ended up getting an unmarked vehicle. When we entered to go to the airport as the hotel staff confirmed it was the vehicle, I decided to check the price of an uber, I came to find out I was charged 4 times the average price of an uber. The hotel and staff was awesome up until that time.

Loved this hotel. The entire staff was courteous and friendly from the moment we arrived at the Andaz until we left. My room was cleaned daily and was comfortable quiet. The fitness room was pretty decent for something you'd find in a hotel. The rooftop bar/restaurant was perfect for a lazy evening. The Andaz is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and close to plenty of neighborhood restaurants and a beautiful park. I highly recommend the Andaz.

However, my experience was marred by an encounter with the supervisor when I expressed my disappointment about not being informed that the pool was out of service, despite having communicated with the hotel through Expedia. The supervisor’s response was somewhat passive-aggressive, even though I assured him I wasn’t seeking any compensation. It was an odd interaction. On the positive side, the concierge was extremely helpful, and I generally enjoyed the staff’s friendliness. Nevertheless, if a key feature of the hotel is unavailable, it should be standard practice to notify guests in advance. Our 3-day stay was a mixture of experiences. The first night was awful and ruined our good first impression of this hotel. After I showered, I found our shower room was almost flooded due to a bad clog issue. It was 12:30 am. I called the reception and asked them if my husband can shower in another room. The receptionist said no. Then she said my husband could bring three big bottles of shampoo, body wash, and conditioner to shower in the gym... I asked to talk to the manager. The manager was very impatient and wanted to send someone to fix it at 12:30 am. I refused. Although the manager was trying to solve the problem, he didn't understand my perspective. After about 20 minutes, he finally agreed to let my husband use the shower in another room but claimed that they needed time to check if the other room was not clogged (surprise that they needed to check it considering it is a five-star hotel). After 1 am, my husband decided to give up, and he stepped into the dirty water and quickly finished his shower. When the manager finally called and said we could use the shower in another room, it was about 1:10 am, more than 30 minutes after we originally made the phone call -- and this shouldn't take this long. The first two days were also very cold -- they only had a COLD mode for A.C. in the room in December (the hotel has a central control on your A.C.; you cannot choose your own mode). Only the last day was OK because they eventually switched the heat on.

The property is in a great part of Mexico City! Very safe and walkable part of town with a lot going on around it. It was also pretty to find people who spoke English which was awesome (I speak minimal Spanish). Highly recommend!

Perfect location - we loved the Condesa neighborhood and walking the lush streets to get breakfast or dinner at the hipest restaurants and coffee shops. The park being nearby is a big draw too. The hotel is beautiful furnished, very clean and well decorated. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooftop is awesome and the place to go for cocktails and a scene. Only bad points - the rooms are very dark at night (not enough light) and the pool area is not for lounging but more fir a quick dip or pool party.

I can't thank Andaz enough for such a fantastic stay during our time in Mexico City. The rooms are lovely, the service and staff are super attentive and caring. The hotel itself has a great vibe, with a bar downstairs, cafe next to the lobby, another pet-friendly cafe upstairs and a rooftop bar and pool. A couple things to note is that the standard rooms do not have private bathrooms/toilets in the room - there is only a thin glass door. This didn't bother us, but my in-laws upgraded their room so they could have a proper door for the bathroom. The only frustrating thing for us was the use of the pool, which was almost always severely crowded. There are only two sunbeds in the sun, which means otherwise you have to sit at a table - not a big deal, but if you're planning an afternoon to lounge in the sun, it doesn't exactly work. I have to commend, also, the ladies working at the Spa. The lady who cut my hair and did my nails was fantastic, and it was really well priced. We really enjoyed our stay here and in fact extended it at Andaz when our travel plans to another area in Mexico fell through. Andaz let us keep our room and were very helpful.

This property was beautiful and all of the staff was amazing. The rooms are both spacious and extremely clean. It’s located in a very nice and safe neighborhood. It’s a short drive to all of the shopping and main events. There are many super nice places to eat and drink within walking distance. The only thing I did not care for was the breakfast buffet was a bit overpriced and not the best food.

The hotel was so lovely with beautiful greenery and chic ambiance. Everyone was very friendly, and that breakfast! The breakfast is incredible. I'd come back for that alone. I will absolutely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in the immediate area and felt safe too. Staff and hotel could not be faulted. Room service on two occasions and both was delicious and fast. Only thing is the pool area has nowhere really to sit or lie in the sun if you wish to. There’s only 3 loungers that are in the pool directly in the sun. Apart from that minor issue, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in the area.

The hotel is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spotless, the food in the rooftop bar/restaurant was delicious and all the staff were super friendly and helpful! When I come back to Mexico City I will definitely be staying here!

Amazing rooftop bar. Super trendy. Overall great hotel and area. Drinks were a little pricey, though. Also, our room would get very hot in the morning despite AC as the sun baked the windows. And finally, check your bill when leaving; we had a charge from a connected restaurant that we never ate at (they did remove the charge when asked).

The staff were very friendly and always offering to help in any way. The pool was awesome! Great view of the city too. The pillows weren’t the best, but I still slept well enough. Coffee shop was great, just a little overpriced

Friendly hotel and friendly hospitality staff. The restaurant breakfast was excellent but was similar to San Diego about $30 per person. I loved the location but my wife was not very happy, look for the food restaurants by walking in the area, good food places around with very reasonable prices but if you want a Sit down American style Restaurant , you will pay what you will pay in the USA, or at least this is what we paid, The food outside of the restaurants are very reasonable cost. Taxis are very expensive but Uber was amazingly low cost then what the Taxi’s were charging.

The staff was incredibly friendly. The concierge desk helped us set up transportation to and from the airport as well as gave great recommendations! The breakfast every morning was great and the rooftop bar and Terrazza restaurants were excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. Finally, the staff knew it was our anniversary and sent us complimentary chocolate-covered strawberries. It was a wonderful stay and we want to come back for our next anniversary! Thank you Andaz staff!

The service was excellent and the personnel really helpful. Breakfast buffet was incredible. Very good gym. Swimming pool on the 17th floor was pretty cool. The only downside was that the room was very noisy (we had the impression we were sleeping in the middle of the street). We nevertheless slept well, so didn’t complain. Also, upon checkout, I was presented a bill of more than 350USD for 3 breakfasts for 2 persons… I had to insist that it didn’t make any sense and they corrected it.

This hotel is unique— it has its own identity influenced by Mexican modernism. My room and dining spaces were all beautiful. The rooftop pool offers stunning views but it is much smaller than the photos suggest, and an odd shape — so not suitable for lap swimming. I found the hotel a bit confusing in terms of its organization— it is joined at the hip with the Mondrian Hotel, which has its front desk on the ground floor. You take a disorienting but beautiful trip on escalator to the Andaz front desk, which is hidden behind a curvilinear screen. It’s all done to a very high standard and its quirky qualities are appropriate for Mexico City. I had my dog with me and the hotel is very pet friendly. Highly recommended!
