Super 8 by Wyndham Lindenhurst

This is an old property that has not been sufficiently updated. Terrible linens, weak water pressure, and the ice machine was broken. No laundry facilities. Pretty pricey for such a low quality place. Comfortable beds though!

I love the location and staff are helpful. Breakfast is basic but good. The WiFi is terrible though.

Hotel was clean. Free parking and WiFi. Continental breakfast is just white toast, granola bars, coffee, tea and juice. Overall a good experience.

The wifi is really bad. They need a new router or something.

The hotel room was nice but the staff was rude. The free complimentary breakfast was only granola bars, apple juice and coffee. The wifi was so poor couldn't connect to anything.

Parking became more difficult that evening. On the street location of the room was noisier than expected. But the facilities, cleanliness, and condition were very good.

They need a bigger parking lot and more parking space's for the handicap people.

The room met my minimal needs. I was in the area for 2 nights, and wasn’t staying at the hotel other than to sleep. I was looking for the cleanest hotel for the most reasonable price. The room was clean, and appears to have recently been renovated. I also booked Smoking room bc it was the only room available online. The receptionist was able to move me to a nonSmoking room upon my arrival which was a pleasant surprise, Thank you! The location had plenty of parking and was quiet at night. If you need more space, the 1 King room was small. If you need entertainment or internet, the TV didn’t work bc of bad internet (seemed to be an area issue and not hotel issue as my phone couldn’t connect to internet either). I highly suggest staying here if you have minimal needs as I did for the weekend.

Wasn’t easy to get to inside rooms. Parking tight

There were 2 cigarette burn holes in the comforter, there was old, what appeared to be blood splattered on one area of the curtain and on the lamp shade. There was hair on the pillow cases and stuck to the lamp shade. Internet TV wouldn’t connect. Towels, which hopefully were clean, were dingy and stained We drove 3 hours from CT to go to a wedding. Will not stay again.

Upon checking in, I wasn’t given any direction as to where my room was located, the bathroom had wet washcloths still in it from previous guests, the toilet was stopped up

Great price and location. Rooms were very clean. I usually don’t stay on motel but this one is exceptional. I will definitely stay again.

The room was musty and damp, the carpet was damp, smalled like mold, VERY SMALL room for the price. The shower had good pressure. Sorry I can not recommend

The place was clean. Check-in was pleasant and welcoming. One night stay was comfortable.

We needed to stay overnight for a family funeral. The reviews were ok and a family member stayed there last summer& said it was a clean convenient place to stay. At first glance it seemed clean enough. On the phone they said they could have a chair in the room. Upon arrival that was not the case. There was no table lamp or a lamp of any kind. There was only the ceiling light and the bathroom light with a fan sounding like I was in an airplane hangar. The refrigerator was flooded. When I went to use the microwave, there was a tray of food in there from the previous guest or staff. Who knows but it was disgusting. I reported it to the front desk. They were very apologetic and said they'd send housekeeping right away. While we were out, housekeeping did in fact reclean the room. The bathroom faucet had a leak that wet everything in its path and when I went to use the microwave, the tray of food was still there oozing grease from who knows when. In the morning, the complimentary breakfast consisted of coffee, 2 granola bars, a half a loaf of white bread, & juice. As the morning housekeeping staff arrived, they came out of the back room with plates of rolls & danishes etc. I guess the staff has to keep up their strength for all the "cleaning" they do. Its too bad. With a few adjustments it could be a nice place to stay. I unfortunately, will not be staying there again.

I was pleasantly surprised with this motel. It's older but well kept and up to date. The staff was helpful and polite. The room was impeccably clean.

The room I was placed it had bed bugs and and dead bugs in the shower, wasn’t really feeling anything until I woke up in the middle of the night all itchy. When I attempted to let someone know nobody was at desk besides cleaning lady and she had a hard time picking up English.

There were stains on my bed sheets and pillow case.

Small rooms, small bathroom. Poor quality towels and toiletries.

The room is right off the road very loud when car drove by. Cigarettes burns on the sheets, yellow stains on bedding. Updated bathroom, Super nice stuff

The atmosphere and setting was fine. Very loud at night. A barking dog and a man on his cell phone out on the walkway kept me awake all night. Most likely will not book this hotel again.

Room was clean and it appears the entire facility was renovated in the not too distant past. Although renovations were evident, workmanship was definitely sub par as evident by cracks in tile work and grout already deteriorated. The one blanket provided was littered with what appeared to be cigarette burns even though it was a no smoking room. Room was small and if you like to live out of your suitcase then this will work for you.

My bed sank in the middle. I had a very poor sleep.

This property had excellent reviews on Expedia., that's why we chose it. The room was much smaller than the picture we saw online. The amnesties were minimal. A coffee maker that looked like it was bought at a dollar store. No hand towels, the ice maker did not work. I would not secure a room there again.

My Nonsmoking room was above a smoking room and it just as well could have been directly connected. What was worse was the wxcuse of well we have a central air duct which tells me they know this is a problem. Not good business practice. Breakfast offered coffee, orange juce, a loaf of bread, nature valley bars and a banana. So if you plan to stay and need a non-smoking room avoid rooms 201-206.

The room was very nice. However, the blanket had cigarette burn holes in it, the hot water was scalding (I guess there’s no anti-scald valve in their system), there was no water pressure in the shower unless it was on cold, the shower drain didn’t catch a lot of the water and it goes out of the bathroom and into the flooring of the room and there is a dangerous soft spot on the floor right outside of the threshold where the flooring is actually lifting. There were no toiletries and had to ask for them. There were two small bath towels so I asked for two more and was told we could have them but never got them. There wasn’t a dresser to put clothes in.

The lady who works the front desk in the morning is rude and told me to pay $40.00 cash for late checkout

There are not many hotel options on Long Island that are not near the airports but this super8 was 1 mile from my destination and I was pleasantly surprised. Staff were very polite and the room was clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay there again

Weird people around, yelling at service staff during breakfast, it feel uncomfortable. Moreover, we forgot something of some value in the room and we called as soon as we noticed: They said they didn't find anything. Qe understand it's our responsibility if we forget something, but the dishonesty is appalling. Very sad.

We booked a 3 week stay for an employee and paid $4k in advance. When he arrived the staff hounded him about not having the credit card present and asked us to email all the card info and photo ID (to a shady gmail account). We told them we didn't feel comfortable with that and they proceeded to keep hounding us and threatening to kick him out early. He told me on the phone we owed no more money, it was just to have the number for records. When our owner called he told him that he needed to charge us.

Room wasn’t ready. You guys charged me twice and there was nothing I can do about it. I paid $450 for a room that I was as charged for 2 nights n only was there for 1. They said breakfast in the morning and only had a half loaf of bread for toast and 2 croissants and apples. This is not breakfast. Looks like many homeless live there, which I’m happy they have a place to stay but they were outside by my room for well over midnight talking. I spoke to Patel, but he really was no help. I will not stay here ever again. The Marriott was only $25 more. What was I thinking.

Needed a room for an overnight stay, didn't want "bells & whistles. This motel was exceptionally clean and conveniently located. The grounds were neatly kept with a small outdoor sitting area. Still it was unreasonably pricey for what it was, even with an Expedia rate. At 8:30 a.m. the coffee was gone, and when I alerted the desk clerk, he was bewildered as to why. And was unable to find the attendant to make another batch. It's coffee, not a souffle... I cut my losses and went to Dunkin.

I stayed overnight while passing through. Room was clean and recently renovated. Near to stores and restaurants.

The room we were given had flies in it! Disgusting!!! We tried to kill as many as we could. Then we turned on the not-so-"smart" TV but we couldn't navigate to all the options with the remote we had. I called down to the front desk but got a busy signal. I waited a few minutes and got a busy signal again, so I went down to the office and the guy was just sitting there doing something on his phone. He gave me a new remote that finally worked on the TV. Then when I was getting ready for bed, the bathroom light went out and wouldn't come back on. I had to go back to the office to tell the guy. He said he would have to fix the light another time so he gave us a new room. When we moved our things to the new room we noticed two flies in there. You can't make this stuff up. The room faced the busy road in front of the hotel, so it was very noisy all night. The hotel room definitely wasn't worth the $215.70 I paid. Avoid this place if you can.

The room was clean and cozy. The area is quiet and there are eating options in walking distance. The room was perfect for a short stay.

It was not a motel that you’d expect in the Lindenhurst/Babylon area. I didn’t feel safe as my room was in the back of the building.

The motel was all new and clean. The parts that are not good are, the noise level with people partying. I saw drug deals going on outside. Very sketchy people staying. My room door was open when I checked in and there were a lot of bugs in the room. I was the end room on the first floor next to the supply room so a lot of in and out. Vans that were parked outside my room kept going off all night. The lights came right into my room. I like how new and clean the room was. I thought the price was high at $130 a night for all of the disturbances that went on.

The breakfast was very disappointing. The fist day, there was a half a loaf of toast, 1 banana, 5 apples, 3 granola bars, orange juice and coffee. Don’t advertise having breakfast if this is all you have. The next day, they had cheap donuts, and the rest was the same.. very disappointing! On the plus side, the housekeeping was great! The motel was small, but very clean!

I have no worda and for as much as i paid to stay here is crazy whats for breakfast granola bars and a loaf of bread i just went here to basically sleep there was no blankets the tv had no signal it was jjst horrible to be honest

It is a fair deal although for this money I expected at least 2 rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom! The front desk person was busy talking to someone in the phone so he didn't even look at me or say hello or good bye or anything. The room was very clean and the beds are comfortable. There are a small refrigerator and a tiny coffee maker in the room which makes the stay better. The whole place seems to have been updated recently. Breakfast contained the cheapest food one can imagine and so not really healthy. For those who don't care, like us, a cup of coffee was enough.
