Amazing location. Get a room with a balcony. If we didn’t we would have burned alive. Our room felt like a sauna when we walked in. The large sliding door let some air in but there is no AC in any of the rooms, restaurant, lobby, hallways, or elevators! In the summer it can get into the high 80’s like when we were there. I would never stay here again unless they add AC in the summer despite the amazing view and location. The staff was nice enough but didn’t have fans or anything to help accommodate. They should prohibit smokers outside in the bar as the smoke goes right up into the room. Parking also is an issue they had maybe 20 spots for the entire hotel so we had to walk into town (not far) to park. Having valet or even someone to help with your bags would make this hotel a lot better and more upscale experience for the money you’re paying. Easy fixes but someone has to care enough about the guest experience. They did allow us to do laundry after hours which we greatly appreciated. The bar stayed open late serving drinks, but had no food after 10pm.

Access to our section of the hotel (a fjord view room) was through gift shops which were crowded with cruise guests. Parking was available with EasyPark. Hotel was clean and well maintained.
