Bei unserer Rundreise mit dem PKW habe ich gezielt nach einer Unterkunft mit kostenlosen Parkplätzen gesucht. Revado hat genau das auf EXPEDIA angeboten. Bei meiner Ankunft bereits stieß ich auf dubiose Parkvorschriften. Das Parken vor dem Hotel ist über Nacht erlaubt. Von 10h bis 18h jedoch nur für zwei Stunden. Dann müsste das Fahrzeug für eine Stunde verschwinden für ein neues Zeitfenster von zwei Stunden. Ich bin als Gast gekommen, fühle mich aber als Sklave dieser dubiosen Parkregelung, da hilft auch das lapidare „dont worry“ des Rezeptionisten (Chefs) nicht. Deshalb ist die Aussage „kostenloses Parken“ absolut irreführend.

Aufenthalt für eine Nacht

Single room in attic in June, half price for a reason, baking hot. Room clean and with good shower but cramped space in batbrom,but in room information folder needs a wipe down or replacing, light above sink would not switch on. Weird check in via a Ring call bell, didn't see a human during check I nor check out. Skipped breakfast as they seemed confused when I mentioned it via Ring doorbell. As a single female I would like a way to bolt or block door from inside in order to feel safe but furniture not moveable. Ok if you just want to crash and pay low price but not in a heatwave. Survived but would not stay here again.

The hotel has bed bugs, I stayed in room 6 and have been riddled by bites. Videos and photos of the bugs in the bed, staff at the hotel don’t seem very concerned.

This is a nice, good value and well maintained and managed budget hotel. I stayed in room 4 for five nights in June. The recently refurbished room was medium sized and was very clean. It had an en-suite shower room with a power shower. There was also a clothes rack with four coat hangers and some shelves, a dressing table and chair and a good sized double bed. There was a TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a welcome chocolate bar and apple juice-a nice touch. There was plenty of electrical sockets, some with USB ports, a hair dryer and portable electric fan. There is no room service or phone link to reception, but I did not find these to be necessary and it obviously helps keep prices reasonable. There is no fridge. The guy on reception was welcoming, helpful and efficient. There are very good bus links into the centre (from outside the sorting office, two minutes walk away) for those without a car; alternatively, It is a twenty minute walk to the city centre. Recommended for the discerning, realistic budget traveller.

Just down the road from the train station which was a result. Good size family room for 3 blokes. Great shower No breakfast though apart from a brunch bar each and a small carton of OJ but there is a premier inn for breakfast options just opposite the station. Good pub across the road too
