Nice motel, friendly owner run property. Clean, spacious rooms - the only thing complaints would be had a small tv and the AC worked fine but the curtains on the window completely blocked the airflow so had to keep them open so could feel it. Great area outside with bbq's and picnic tables, handy for cooking your own food if desired. Beautiful part of the island.

Pool hours were 11-8, but you have to check in after 330 and check out before 10. If you’re staying 1 night that means you’re very limited in time to use it. Basically just a few hours on first day. Key for back door did not work so had to walk around building to get back in after swim. Also people are allowed to smoke right outside your back door which goes right into the room. Very strong smell especially when not tobacco. The kids loved the pool!

Le motel a besoin d'amour. Le wifi est vraiment désuet, la piscine est dans le milieu du champs et semble appartenir au voisin, check in à 10h am au lieu de 11h comme tout l'monde. Présence de perces oreille (bébites) dans les lits, air climatisé vraiment bruyant! Le seul avantage est l'emplacement. Très cher pour l'offre!

Overall property was good and close to the attractions.Property and pool was kept clean but the rooms are very old and terrible mouldy smell.Beds were also very oudated and under beds did not look like they were cleaned under.Probably would not stay again due to my allergies and mold.

Great location in the middle of everything, right next door to a restaurant and across the street from a big tourist mart. Our kids had a blast in the pool, which was well-maintained and clean. The property was older and slightly run down, but it was clean enough and had everything we needed. Would stay again for the price.

We enjoyed our stay. It was great having the family suite with a kitchen with a young family. The furnishing in the suite was dated but VERY clean. I expected the dated look when I booked and the rooms look like the pictures. The pool was nice outback with the playground. The kitchen had everything we needed. It is conveniently located across from a grocery store.

There were some questionable things about this stay. One of which was how the bathtub had a visible layer of dirt that washed away when the shower was turned on. It was also clear that many maintenance issues are being dealt with in a diy manner.

There were several very unappealing things about the state of uncleanliness. Please see the pictures. I reported several things including the squashed fly on the inside of the window, the very dirty walkway leading to our room, and expected that they would actually do something about it, but they did nothing. There was an unwelcoming sign in the room indicating that if you wanted clean towels you had to gather them up, put them in the basket and put them outside your door! No cleaning of the room during our stay. There was hair in the shower/bath.

We really enjoyed our stay at Silverwood! I couldn't get over how clean the room smelled when we first arrived. The room has a little kitchenette which was great when traveling with toddler. Also the bathroom was fantastically clean! Staff very friendly as well, they came to room when checked in to be sure everything was set up and explained the TV. Great experience!

We were greeted by a friendly front desk staff. The room was spacious and super clean. We asked for a late checkout to allow our travel weary toddler a much needed nap and they were more than accommodating. I would have wished we stayed here our entire time in the Cavendish area

Room smelled like Mold, found old juice boxes behind the night stands, half eaten cookies under the bed. Duvet hasnt been qashed in who knows how long, there were cheetos fingure prints as well as other food stuck to it. Was scheduled in for 3 night and left after 1.

The WiFi did not work the second day as well as the television didn't work which was disappointing. The fridge was also leaking the next day I found. Overall we were satisfied with the location, room, service and price of the motel. Thank you

The beds were really hard and barley any hot water,you were lucky to have one person get a shower with hot water.Also I think $40 PER NIGHT PLUS TAX for a dog was a little outrageous and that we had to keep going to the office for toilet paper

Walkable to shops and restaurants. No frills and exterior is pretty weathered and discouraging to look at when you arrive - the rooms is clean and well kept. Air conditioner is very loud. Good cost for location. Fine times your head.

The staff were incredible! Very hard working, super pleasant, very helpful with any questions or needs. The grounds were neat and tidy. I realize that the property is old and you can see that they are working to make the required upgrades and refresh's to each room. This will take time, however, for the new owners only taking possession for a year. It is apparent that they are trying their best to make sure everyone is taken care of during the upgrades. It was great to have wireless internet available, what is now a must have, it's still nice to see that they are doing what they can to keep everyone happy. I spoke with a guest that has been staying for the past 21 years and she's very happy with the changes as well. I will be happy to suggest this location to anyone who inquires about it. Keep up the great work and I hope to see you again soon!

I was quite disapointed that there was no one at teh desk to speak to other then check in time. No one to talk to after 6pm. So if there was a problem, there was no one present to help. Just no personal I guess. The lady who did eventually check me in was friendly. The office door was only unlocked from 3:30 (check-intime) to 6 pm. And check out there was a box to drop keys. Nothing warm about that or to get feedback fromt he stay.

The property is quite old even though it's renovated. This was the only night we stayed in Cavendish and it was quite a surprise that the office only open until 6 PM and the check in time starts at 3 PM. It seems quite short hours for a motel. Also there was only a small soap provided and we could not request for additional soap once the office is closed. But the motel is located in a convenient location.

Our toilet has issues flushing anything. We did not flush even toilet paper. It backed up and my son put his hand all the way down the toilet to see if there was a clog he could remove and he did. I notified the front desk that this persisted and was very unnecessary for my son to ned to deal with. There is one toilet and it should work and would have been easily identifiable by staff who cleaned the toilet, if they did clean the toilet. I went to the front desk that is only staffed from 4:30-6 pm and told them that I would like to receive a refund for one or both nights. I was told that would happen and never received this, but rather returned home, after dinner, in our second night to find a trash can with a used and feces covered toilet plunger in it in front of our motel room. This is unacceptable service and I would still like to have at least one night reimbursed to me as a result of having to deal with the toilet for nearly the full duration of our two night stay.

Good luck finding help, when you need it. Our room bath tub had a slow drain problem, the next morning when I tried to walk into the office after the post opening time of 9 AM, no one was there. Plumbing was from the 70s! The beds mattresses were also old. I will never come back again. Oh on check out time, same thing, no one was at the office at 10 AM, I just dropped the keys and left.

We didn't have much interaction with the staff but the property itself was clean and spacious. The kitchenette was a great addition. We would definitely stay there again.

We didn't have much interaction with the staff but the property itself was clean and spacious. The kitchenette was a great addition. We would definitely stay there again.

Great trip. Stayed for a week. Great location. Restaurants and grocery right there. Amusement parks and haunted hotel as well. Great for the whole family. The hotel has a full kitchen which allowed us to save on meals.

the room was clean but this is not a very good motel. the office hours says 9 to 6pm but they would close early. Other than it being close proximity to the Green gables hertiage no other advantage to this motel. not worth the price

Rooms were great (mattresses were very uncomfortable though). The only complaint we would have is the stairs/balcony. They are very old and honestly very unsafe, need to be replaced Parking is also quite tight around back , would be better if the stair case didn’t come out so far We would stay again!

It did the trick, but we probably won’t stay here again. At least not with the kids. Room was very musty and smelled like smoke. People smoke right outside of their rooms and the smoke was just continuously going right into our room. The floors were not clean so we had to keep our shoes on to walk around or else your feet were black on the bottom. The bathtub had hair it in. As I said, it was just a place to sleep, but I wouldn’t stay there again with our children.

Staff was super friendly and the room was clean. The motel would benefit from room upgrades. There was a musty smell in our room suggesting a change needed in ventilation and possibly the bedding. If you can tolerate that (as we did), the motel location is super convenient, being centrally located to many tourist destinations.

Bien situé à Cavendish. Chambre correcte. Rideau de douche à changer. Bonne idée de l’armoire avec le nécessaire pour les produits (shampooing, papier hygiénique et autres) ainsi que le panier pour le changement des serviettes sans qu’il y ait quelqu’un qui entre dans la chambre.
