Fantastic hotel . We booked a room with an amazing sea view. Lovely big bed and shower room with table and chairs to enjoy the beach/ sea view. The room was serviced each day and was spotless. The breakfast was delicious each morning in a lovely room again with sea views. We also booked dinner one evening and was excellent and great value. The staff were very friendly/ polite and hardworking. We also used the outdoor pool twice which is a nice addition. Overall a great experience and will definitely return .

The staff are superb, welcoming, friendly and great service. Definitely needs air conditioning as the room was warm even with the windows open and fan running. Breakfast was good may be worth adding mushrooms to the cooked breakfast and the option of black pudding to make it more like a full breakfast. Plenty of parking. Good location on the seafront. Plenty of space and chairs in the relaxation areas.

Food excellent. Lounge and bar area excellent. Staff very helpful and smart. Rooms very dated and need a revamp. Hot water coming out of cold tap. Taps on avocado coloured bath not connected but good shower above bath. Floor seemed to be heated in mid July so bathroom far too hot. Bedroom floor seemed heated in places near radiator although at least radiator not on.

Great staff, service, breakfasts and location - right next to the beach and on a regular but route into St Helier and beyond (airport with an easy connection, Gorey etc). Very comfortable bed, strong shower, very clean. Well stocked bar. A bit old fashioned in its decor and style though with the evening food offering (4 courses for £25 = great value) catering for traditional conservative customers. Room very hot with no extractor fan in bathroom or aircon. Good choice for age 60 residents.

Obviously the scaffolding and accompanying noise was not ideal, but it was necessary and will be finished soon. The staff were quite exceptional and the breakfast first rate. My only crumble was not to have coffee making facilities in the room. Having said that I will return without hesitation

The property was ideally located for exploring the island. The sea view rooms gave amazing views across the bay, albeit across one of the main roads to the east of the island. Each room has a fan. There is no air conditioning. The rooms face the afternoon sun so do get warm but can be ventilated as the window slides open. The rooms were spacious as was the bathroom and our request for an accessible room was accommodated. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with various options and they do offer a la carte evening meals but we chose to eat out. There is a good size car park behind the hotel. Having previously stayed at other hotels on the island, this one offers very good value for money and is one I'd come back to in the future.

Lovely older place right on the beach. Excellent breakfast and dinner available in-house. Frequent buses steps away. Big function for a football club put a squeeze on parking and made for some late noise, but otherwise a great stay and good value for money. Friendly staff gave excellent service.

Lovely sea view. Staff were very helpul and friendly, particularly Keffas and reception. Very clean and well kept No noise, comfortable room, gentle sea lulls you to sleep. Large mugs for tea & coffee were high on the list. Pool was pristine and just the right temp.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the waiting staff during breakfast. The cleanliness was excellent and housekeeping did a great job. The room was lovely although the bathroom was dated, the shower was fairly poor and the corridor areas clearly need modernising to match the standard of the restaurant area. Great location and would stay again however I couldn’t help feeling a little disappointed after seeing the photos on the website and them not totally reflecting reality. That being said, it was lovely touch that we were given a food parcel to take with us due to our very early checkout.

The room was clean and very comfortable, with a great balcony and excellent daily room cleaning service. My only gripe would be that, for the price, I feel we should have had a fridge in the room and a safe to put our valuables.

The whole hotel was clean and my room was comfortable. The staff working here were very friendly and professional, I really enjoyed my time at the hotel. The decor is a bit dated however that doesn't bother me. The lounge room had a selection of seats and it was pleasant being able to watch the sea from a comfy seat. The location was spot on for me, a 30 minute walk from St Helier or a short bus journey

The hotel has potential but the bed was very uncomfortable with mould in the bathroom. The TV remote didn’t work and the selection of teas in the room was limited to black.

Excellent Room, Fabulous sea view only downside was the bathroom could do with an upgrade, although it was perfectly functional. Also it would be good to have a fridge in the room. Swimming pool good but it would have been even better if it was located at the front of the hotel, to get the afternoon sun. Dining room very good, service excellent, but would be better if there was fresh fruit on offer for breakfast. Parking excellent

Hotel was good,very clean, excellent staff In all departments. Food was good plenty of it. Only trouble was mobility scooter wouldn't go in lift .by 2 inches, so lift door wouldn't shut. It was a normal scooter for a large adult and goes in all other lifts. Never had a problem before. Consequently husband who is disabled couldn't get to room Manager extremely apologetic, said would find a way. Finally provided a wheelchair to get him from check in to room, but l had to push him. 18stone on carpet .and l am quite small killed my back by end of holiday. Backwards and forwards to dining room and to go out to scooter, kept in lobby. They did their level best to help but it spoilt the holiday because it was such an effort to push husband around in hotel. That's why he had a mobility scooter.we did check before we booked holiday and was told it should be fine.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the waiting staff during breakfast. The cleanliness was excellent and housekeeping did a great job. The room was lovely although the bathroom was dated, the shower was fairly poor and the corridor areas clearly need modernising to match the standard of the restaurant area. Great location and would stay again however I couldn’t help feeling a little disappointed after seeing the photos on the website and them not totally reflecting reality. That being said, it was lovely touch that we were given a food parcel to take with us due to our very early checkout.

The staff are superb, welcoming, friendly and great service. Definitely needs air conditioning as the room was warm even with the windows open and fan running. Breakfast was good may be worth adding mushrooms to the cooked breakfast and the option of black pudding to make it more like a full breakfast. Plenty of parking. Good location on the seafront. Plenty of space and chairs in the relaxation areas.

Unfortunately we had booked to stay prior to Christmas and hadn't anticipated there being large Christmas parties going on. The first night the disco went on until 12.30 and we were above it so unable to sleep due to the constant boom boom boom of the music. Staff agreed to move us to a different room for the rest of our stay and it was both quiet and more comfortable. Quite why they hadn't thought to do this in the first place I don't know as we would have been comfortable and not needing to complain. The en-suite in our first room was so cold we were reluctant to get in the shower. Restaurant and reception staff were all excellent.

Obviously the scaffolding and accompanying noise was not ideal, but it was necessary and will be finished soon. The staff were quite exceptional and the breakfast first rate. My only crumble was not to have coffee making facilities in the room. Having said that I will return without hesitation

Nice well run hotel with very friendly and caring staff throughout the hotel.Veronica in reception and Helen in restaurant went that bit further providing a very warm and reassuring service to the guests.All the bar staff and room maids made sure the stay was enjoyable.One little neg point was our room did not have a fridge when we thought we’d booked a room with one.Other than that great stay..Thanks..

The property was ideally located for exploring the island. The sea view rooms gave amazing views across the bay, albeit across one of the main roads to the east of the island. Each room has a fan. There is no air conditioning. The rooms face the afternoon sun so do get warm but can be ventilated as the window slides open. The rooms were spacious as was the bathroom and our request for an accessible room was accommodated. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with various options and they do offer a la carte evening meals but we chose to eat out. There is a good size car park behind the hotel. Having previously stayed at other hotels on the island, this one offers very good value for money and is one I'd come back to in the future.

Room bathroom looked "tired" and could do with a refit. Room was nice. Bar and restaurant were very nice. Staff were very good, very polite and friendly. Would stay here again if back in Jersey. Although not the best location as a taxi ride away from St Helier. Each way was around £12 but hotel was cheaper than ones around St Helier.

The staff are lovely. Breakfast was very good. We had a sea view room, which was great ( opening patio windows). The bus stop is nearby and the service is regular. M&S food around the corner. Great value for money.

The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the Island, either by car,they have a large car park,or by bus, the stop is just 100 metres away. I recommend booking a room with a sea view as you will not tire of vista in any weather. The room had a very comfortable large double with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was a choice of full English with your choice of how you wanted your eggs, plus cereals, cold meats,cheese, croissant etc.. Every member of staff we had interaction with were friendly and gave great customer service. We would return in an instant.

The whole hotel was clean and my room was comfortable. The staff working here were very friendly and professional, I really enjoyed my time at the hotel. The decor is a bit dated however that doesn't bother me. The lounge room had a selection of seats and it was pleasant being able to watch the sea from a comfy seat. The location was spot on for me, a 30 minute walk from St Helier or a short bus journey

Lovely room with beautiful view and had balcony too. Hotel staff very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble for them to do to make are stay wonderful. The food very good and came a wide choice from the menu, both for breakfast and dinner.

Fantastic hotel . We booked a room with an amazing sea view. Lovely big bed and shower room with table and chairs to enjoy the beach/ sea view. The room was serviced each day and was spotless. The breakfast was delicious each morning in a lovely room again with sea views. We also booked dinner one evening and was excellent and great value. The staff were very friendly/ polite and hardworking. We also used the outdoor pool twice which is a nice addition. Overall a great experience and will definitely return .

Great staff, service, breakfasts and location - right next to the beach and on a regular but route into St Helier and beyond (airport with an easy connection, Gorey etc). Very comfortable bed, strong shower, very clean. Well stocked bar. A bit old fashioned in its decor and style though with the evening food offering (4 courses for £25 = great value) catering for traditional conservative customers. Room very hot with no extractor fan in bathroom or aircon. Good choice for age 60 residents.

Very clean hotel a little dated but spotless!! The breakfast was OK nothing special. The front of house in the restaurant wasn't very friendly the girl serving would be more suitable to the job. Overall an OK hotel

I was looking forward to seeing all the history Jersey has to offer. I didn't envisage the bathroom in the hotel being one of those. A 1980's Avocado Green cast iron bath that was all rusty around the plughole, a towel radiator bracket broken and tiling around the switch fused spur completed by Stevie Wonder. The rooms are small, Travelodge size. The pictures are a few years old as the iron railings on the outside have been replaced with glass. The wall lamps were loose on the wall, but on the upside had a USB connection. No aircon in the rooms, but a pedestal fan is supplied complete with a fair coating of dust . The TV is an older Flat Screen unit , no screenshare available to broadcast from a phone/tablet. The range of channels is a small selection to those available within the UK , a fair coating of dust on the back though. The carpet has been fitted like cap and cove vinyl and has a chrome bead around it, razor sharp on the angles. POSITIVES - The breakfast. A vast array of just about anything you could wish for. Cut of time is 9.00am , that could do with extending really. We had the same young gentleman serve our breakfast each morning and he was the standout member of staff for the duration , we didn't catch his name but he reminded me of a younger Luther Vandross. He was very courteous and helpful. The view is great , but the glass could do with a clean. The bathrooms are apparently on the next programme to be replaced
