Large room, waterfront view. Bed comfy. Spa in room if thats your thing. Great shower, large vathroom. Sliding door didn't slide very well. Able to cook dinner. Walkable to town centre and food options. Quiet area even though close to main road. Only negative was noise from a gathering in the car park of about 30 to 40 men and women celebrating something. Broke up and went home eventually.

Lovely room. Nice Jacuzzi bath. Nice balcony. Very clean. Kitchenette adequate. Some things weren't so good. Missing handle on bathroom door so door didn't shut properly. Broken blind in kitchen area. In the information book it mentions a safe, apparently not in rooms at the back. Only one egg cup, we asked for a second one. They could not supply this! Silly things which let this Hotel down

Pebble Beach is a great option for Napier. We had a huge room on an upper floor with a balcony and an unobstructed view of the water. The location is terrific, about a 15 minute walk along the beautiful Marine Parade to downtown's cafes and restaurants. We especially loved Roam Cafe which is also on Marine Parade on the way into town. There was a small kitchenette with supplies for our morning tea and coffee. There was also a stereo and DVD player, useful for rainy days. The AC worked well. We appreciated the guest laundry (there's only one washer and one dryer but we didn't have to wait long). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Free parking in a large lot was a big bonus. The room decor felt a bit dated but it was comfortable and very spacious. We also spent several nights at the Nautilus, another motel about a block away, and felt that the room was slightly nicer and the price quite a bit lower.

Reception was welcoming and efficient and there was plenty of parking when we arrived. There is a lift if you need it for luggage or simply to avoid the climb to either the first or second floor. Our room (no. 18) was on the top floor, facing the sea. It was perfectly clean and the space was generous, with a king size bed leaving plenty of space to move around. The spa bath was a welcome feature after a day out and about. We ate breakfast at the small balcony table, looking out over the grass to the sea, enjoying the sun. In the afternoon we sat out on the entrance balcony enjoying a glass of wine and the evening sun. The motel is 10 to 15 minutes easy walk from shops and restaurants, including supermarkets, KFC, McDs, Lone Star, Thai, Indian, Malaysian and so on. There is storage for bikes and the start of the bike tracks is just across the road, going north and south. There's a bike rental store 10 minutes down the street.

Fast Wifi not throttled like other motels, great view, handy location, clean and well laid out. Very good value for money and i noticed it was the only accommodation fully booked while i was down there.

Very clean, modern rooms with fresh roomy bathrooms. Easy beach access, although our room was ground floor with no balcony or views on the back side of the building. Convenient spot, easy walk to the main shops for adults, a bit long for young kids so may need a pram. Good nearby restaurants and aquarium.

The property is very well made and the location is very good. Housekeeping was a bit disappointing and they could have given better facilities. Considering we have a family room for four, the bathroom didn’t even have four small hooks to hang clothes. Again, being a family room for 4, bathroom door didnt have a lock. A little disappointed that the property is well made but not designed thoughtfully. Overall stay was comfortable for a family of four, housekeeping and cleaning being a let down. They didn’t even vacuum the floors for the 3 days we were there.

Ants taken over the room and ruined a bunch of dry food and the floor had a major leak cause our carpet to be wet. Solution from stadd was towels over the wet spot and no options for the ants. Checked out a day early, given attitude from their admin # and no refund due to the lacl of accomodations. I think this was just bad luck with a leak, ants, and staff with bad attitude because the place was full and the location is great. To be reviewed regardless.

Lacked of proper heating during winter travel is a serious challenger. The horrible bed that is overly soft hurt our backs. The rest of the stay was mediocre at best.

Great views off the balcony. Fairly quiet even though it was on a main road. The quieter end of the main street but we found a couple of great restaurants nearby. The room was very spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable but the furniture was very outdated and definitely needed upgrading.

There was no toilet roll holder and the rubbish bin in the bathroom push button to open it was broken. Both should be cheap and easy fix. The ranch slider had damaged rollers on one side so very difficult to open. View was nice but was woken at 6am with road noise. Would stay again in different room if price was ok as bed was comfortable and spa pool was a nice treat

Good location and nice spacious rooms. Having the balcony is great but it entices people to stay out to all hours drinking and and loud music so didn’t get a lot of sleep. Beds are bouncy so if partner moves it shakes the whole bed, otherwise a nice stay

Ridiculous that in this day and age that some places are so strict and inflexible around checking in. Arrived at the place just after check-in close to find that they\'d already packed up and left. Tried calling them on the way, and sent them a message to let them know we\'d be a tiny bit late - but no response, and their listed phone number didn\'t even work. Probably about the only place I\'ve ever booked where they didnt have a flexible check-in policy - leave a bloody key in an envelope or leave it in the room with the door unlocked (and reply to the message). Not hard. Ending up having to stay at a different place down the road and the owner there said that this place was known for doing that and had heard a few complaints recently of them "starting late and leaving early". Wouldn\'t recommend.

We really enjoyed this property. It was walkable to the Art Deco/shopping district, including full scale grocery stores. We didn’t use the spa tub, but it was sparkling clean. Reception was friendly, but open hours were quite limited. We enjoyed our time in Napier!

Nice motel, lovely location. We paid for upper level but please note this just means not ground and doesn’t guarantee top level as the photos. Lovely spa bath and clean modern bathroom. We requested online and had email confirmation re a travel cot but had to prompt on arrival - would have been so helpful if this could have been put up for us ready in the room.

Three enjoyable days at the Pebble Beach Motor Inn which is an easy walk from the centre of Napier. The room was very spacious and the fittings were of a high quality. Napier is a lovely town and there are plenty of good restaurants in the vicinity. Parking is available at the hotel or in adjoining roads at no cost. The front rooms benefit from a balcony and sea views.

Staff were lovely on check-In. It was in an excellent location, right across the road from the National Aquarium and beach (although you can’t swim in the beach). Some great shopping close by and loads of options to eat. We found two great pubs with super delicious meals! Shower was hot, bed comfy. A couple of negatives… it was really really noisy. Traffic street noise, plus you could hear other guests talking in their rooms. Smoking is allowed on guest balcony’s and this was dreadful as cigarette smoke drifted into our room, even with the windows and door closed. Even though it was a great location and the room itself was very spacious and comfortable, I wouldn’t stay again because of the noise and cigarette smoke smells.

Super Lage, mit Blick zum Strand (nur durch eine Straße getrennt), ruhig. Ortskern mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants leicht zu Fuß erreichbar, Aquarium direkt nebenan. Sehr netter Empfang. Appartment hat alles was man braucht, auch einen Safe. Wir waren mit dem Aufenthalt rundum zufrieden. Für Weinliebhaber sind die Weingüter um Napier schnell zu erreichen.

We were more than happy with the apartment. It was new and quite large. A neat kitchenette. A large new bathroom with spa. Plenty of parking and not too far to walk into the city area for dinner. We chose not to stay in an apartment overlooking the beach, however would probably do so next time ,rather than looking at houses across the road and the railway line. Overall this was a very comfortable apartment.

We had two rooms for two couples, and we were all very happy with the accommodation and especially pleased with the rooms having a sea view. 15min walk into town and there were plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Will certainly be on our favourite list for future stays.
