The staff were excellent, super helpful in bringing us anything extra we needed. I only have one complaint, the hot tub (which is a large part of why we booked here) was not clean. We went to use it and the water was so murky, you couldnt see the bottom. Other than that one point, everything at this hotel was great.

We have stayed here many times. Room is very clean and comfortable. Staff are great. Pool is a nice luxury. Parking is convenient and protected from weather. Restaurant/bar on premises is very nice and has breakfast options, a good bar and a range of easy and fancy foods. It’s right near uptown Waterloo with many amenities. It is my Waterloo home.

The beds are really comfortable and the rooms are nice and big. The pool area was clean and the hot tub and sauna are nice to have. Bathrooms was clean and had an automatic floor light which was very useful for bathroom trips at night.

The hot tub seemed to need cleaning as there was hair all about. Also pool towels were limited even though there were not many of us at the pool. The room was great and spacious. They were very welcoming at the front desk as well.

Rooms were very nice, location excellent. Staff was very helpful and polite. Robes were nice and fluffy! lol Only thing that needs improvement was the cleanliness of the pool area. There was hair and debris on the areas around the pool. Definitely wouldn’t recommend using the hot tub. While the smell of chlorine was strong in the pool there was foam floating in the hot tub.

It's quite pleasant and nice on the surface. But the room was showing an age. I also noticed that the bathroom isn't thoroughly cleaned. Easy to reach areas are clean, but it's not difficult to find yellowing spots (dirt, soap build up, etc.). The toilet paperholder was pretty loose. It's not the end of the world, but I also expect the hotel to have cleaner bathroom than my home.

The bathroom had, dirt, dust and hair along the baseboards. Obviously not cleaned for quite some time. Not at all what I would expect from Delta. The front desk staff were receptive to my feedback and reacted in a very professional manner, which I appreciated - thank you for that.

Wasn't impressed they charge you at the counter for parking in their own parking lot. $12 a vehicle. As for cleanliness.... I had a suit and the bathroom was sub par clean. Dust on all the baseboards, toilet paper holder and mirror. It didn't look on like the floor has been deep cleaned in quite a while. Corners where grungy and caulking looked dark in many spots. I expect a lot more from a 4 star hotel... especially a suit when your paying $250+.

It was a little pricy but worth it. The bed was soft and the shower was divine. The hotel is centrally located and the staff and friendly. They have a breakfast to your bedroom order card which I really liked. It was tasty and a nice wake up call in the morning. I also like the smart tv. You can easily attach your own devices so you can watch your favourite shows like at home.

We checked in without any issues. When we got to the room the tv would not connect to the internet. We called the desk and someone was at our door in 3 minutes to check it out. After a few minutes he determined that it couldn’t be addressed and within 5 minutes we were in a new room, and an upgrade at that. The corner suite was comfortable with 3 huge windows to view the city!

Only one USB connection to charge my devices and it was not working. The air conditioner rattled loudly when it was on, each time it turned off the night light in bathroom turned on for 10 min which was quite bright and kept us awake. Sounds weird but it happened all night .

When we checked in it was very noisy with a cleaning crew vacuuming and doing the floors. I had added an extra night a few weeks ago but the reservations weren't linked. It took some time for the clerk to figure it out then said he would make sure we had the same room for our stay. We were hungry and tired but they had nothing to offer. It is a hotel....you should be able to get something to eat or a glass of wine when you arrive but not possible at the delta. We had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door as we just came from Australia. At 12:30 a clerk knocked on the door and asked us to vacate the room. She had no record of us staying another night. I left my charger in the room accidentally and it took 3 days for them to locate it only after numerous phone calls and coming to the property twice.

Staff was exceptionally nice and went out of their way to be helpful when I arrived at 2am with a ton of luggage. they opened the gym so I could stretch my poor back, offered me fresh cookies, found ways to help me move and store my luggage, and much more.

Booked on Expedia app, the stay was good but was told by staff breakfast was free then ended up paying a big amount for breakfast from hotels restaurant. I was not given a voucher for breakfast and did not know this was needed to receive the complementary breakfast. Also was told at check out it was not included with my stay so that whole situation was confusing.

I would rate this hotel **three stars at best**. The room was in **very poor condition** and clearly outdated. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed, which immediately gave a bad impression. The **only positive experience** was dinner at the restaurant *Proof*, which was genuinely good. The **hot tub** has a button to turn the jets on, but there is **no signage explaining the delay** before they start. You end up standing there repeatedly pressing the button, thinking it’s broken. We ordered **breakfast through room service**, but it never arrived. Staff said they thought the order was for room **507 instead of 501**, even though the room number was **written by hotel staff themselves** on the order card in the room. When we called the front desk, the **female staff member was very rude** and acted as though it was our fault. The only compensation offered was **free parking**, which frankly shouldn’t be charged in the first place and should be included in the room rate. Overall, the **room was far too expensive for what was offered** and absolutely **not worth the price**. I would not stay here again.

The only compensation offered was **free parking**, which frankly shouldn’t be charged in the first place and should be included in the room rate. Overall, the **room was far too expensive for what was offered** and absolutely **not worth the price**. I would not stay here again.

It was a little pricy but worth it. The bed was soft and the shower was divine. The hotel is centrally located and the staff and friendly. They have a breakfast to your bedroom order card which I really liked. It was tasty and a nice wake up call in the morning. I also like the smart tv. We have stayed here many times. Room is very clean and comfortable. Staff are great. Pool is a nice luxury. Parking is convenient and protected from weather. Restaurant/bar on premises is very nice and has breakfast options, a good bar and a range of easy and fancy foods. It’s right near uptown Waterloo with many amenities. It is my Waterloo home.

The Delta is a very clean, modern hotel right in downtown Waterloo. The surrounding area is very nice for walking (a dog, for example). Both Universities are a 10min walk from the hotel. Other attractions (the Perimeter Institute, the Balsillie school, etc) are very short walks away. The parking garage has two free AC Tesla Chargers. Very enjoyable stay.

The hotel staff and accommodations were exceptional. Unfortunately, the restaurant had many fruit flies around us. The staff during our dinner dining experience, as well as our room service for breakfast seemed annoyed having to deal with customers. That in itself has lowered my rating. Very unfortunate.

Booked on Expedia app, the stay was good but was told by staff breakfast was free then ended up paying a big amount for breakfast from hotels restaurant. I was not given a voucher for breakfast and did not know this was needed to receive the complementary breakfast. Also was told at check out it was not included with my stay so that whole situation was confusing.

I've stayed here multiple times, typically it's a great hotel, just a few issues this stay. No or limited hot water in the room, the TV didn't work, and when it did it shut off and turned back on every 3 minutes. The pool was not available. I had the breakfast buffet in the morning and all I could get was bread and 2 pieces of bacon, there was nothing else and they didn't refill it until I had to leave 20 minutes later, but the hotel removed the buffet charge from the overall bill at checkout.

Great property with really polite staff. Great location. Only one suggestion for the management - there was not a single microwave on premises. Having one would definitely help just in case a guest need to warm up food, etc.

I have never stayed at a Delta hotel before. The staff were pleasant upon arrival and leaving. Room was clean and spacious. I spent Friday to Monday morning at this hotel. I was quite surprised when I returned Saturday night to find out the room was not serviced (bed made, clean towels, black out blinds still closed). Upon approaching the front desk about this I was advised that the hotel only services rooms every other day. I was offered some clean towels as compensation for this.
