The valet is expensive and very slow

First time at this hotel which was recommended to me by a friend. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and it was a wonderful experience. The suite was amazing. Make sure you check hours if things though bc the Vault & Rotunda were both closed on a Sunday night. So we will be back again to check out both of those areas. Only one suggestion: this hotel is too good to be serving powder creamer with its coffee in the rooms!

From Valet greeting to departure - we could not be more pleased. Short walk to Guardians games. Fresh delicious dining options. Several bars - Vault bar in basement is historic with former bank vault doors - must see Eden bar on 12th floor has outdoor City views and covered /indoor spaces. Friendly attentive staff. Specialty drinks. Area shopping & restaurants we walk to while feeling safe. We sleep well .. Looking forward to our return!

Loved the remodeled rooms, rooftop bar, and Vault.

Staff seemed nice and willing to help, until it came down to their valet service. The hotel refuses to associate themselves although it’s a service the hotel forces you to use, you can’t pay to park on your own. When we arrived and let them know of our immediate issue, instead of making it right with valet. The problem was brushed off - we were told to have fun, enjoy our stay, and they will send champagne to our room. We were running late, so we went to the room and thought that’s nice. But champagne never arrived. Room was nice, we had the largest room with city view. There aren’t food options, if you’re hungry and it’s later, plan to door dash and wait hours. Next morning valet lost our car. We waited nearly 2 hours!! We weren’t the only one. Wow… oh but they didn’t charge us for parking. Ha! Again, hotel not associating themselves with the valet. So while the valet are walking all over Cleveland looking for cars they don’t remember where they parked. With people waiting all over the lobby for their cars… the hotel can’t do anything for you, sorry! Yikes. Won’t stay here again. Too disorganized. Too expensive, not worth the money.

The decor was fun. The gym was great and open 24/7. The common places were kind of dirty. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom layout was very strange. We were in a Double Queen Suite and the bathtub and shower were exposed to the room. I could understand this layout in a King Suite where you would be a single couple having a good time, but with a Double Queen Suite you should assume it's more than one couple staying in the room. Why would the other couple want to watch you shower? Of if you're traveling with your kids, why would you kids want to see that? It was weird. The Vault bar was great. Fun seating, excellent drinks, the bar tender was friendly and knowledgeable. The Ledger Bar was average, nothing fancy, the bartender was also friendly, though not as knowledgeable. Eden was greatly disappointing. All the greenery was plastic, no actual plants. I ordered a sangria and they gave me a a splash of red wine with a splash of triplesec, topped with sparkling water and an orange slice. That my friend, is not sangria. I gave it back to the bartender and she was kind enough to make a blackberry margarita, which was delicious. The service at Centro for the dinner service was good, a little slow, but very friendly. The food was average. The service at lunch at Centro was not good. It was very slow, we had to ask for someone to wait on us, then when they came, they were passive aggressive with us. Overall the place was very overpriced for what it is.

Walk to and from the Guardian games. The 9 rooftop bar and basement Vault bar. Highly recommended couple’s getaway.

Didn't get the room I booked. I booked a single king with a fireplace and I got a dubble queen with a fireplace that didn't work. The room was dusty. The Vault bar was closed for a wedding party. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great property. Rooms are beautiful and the amenities are fantastic. Great restaurant and rooftop bar. I will say that the air conditioner in my room was not working. The maintenance man arrived promptly and reset it. However after a while it was obvious that it still wasn't working properly. I informed Valentina at the front desk and she immediately upgraded my room and even had a bellhop come and move all of our luggage. Valentina also gave us a later checkout due to the inconvenience. I will definitely be staying again in the future.

Definitely disappointing. This property is not being well cared for. The hallway carpeting had not been swept (see photos) and they are not keeping up with basic items in need of attention. The photo of the wall shows layers of dust adhered to the wall covering. The chair was torn and our end table was very beat up. On a positive note- the room was very quiet. The desk staff was mediocre at best. For the price, I expect more.

Unfortunately at that price point i would expect way better accommodations.Our room was not clean at all. Everything had a layer of dust on it. The bathroom mirror's had dust and hair on them. Would not stay here again.

Hotel is dirty and understaffed. Our rooms were filthy and the bedding was stained. When you needed to reach the front desk or room service no one would answer the phone, or if they did they would put you on hold for 15 minutes and forget about you. Definitely not worth the price by any means.

Exterior was beautiful. Interior was nice but loud. Floor was very noisy, but expected for a Saturday night. Room had a post vacuum hairball in the middle of the floor. Booked a room for 3 (king and a couch), but only slept 2. Not a great nights sleep. Conveniently located, but probably wouldn’t choose to stay again.

We stayed over the weekend and were so excited to stay here. All the pictures online were beautiful. We had a lot of issues checking in, and we were just glad to get to our room. Our room was filthy. Other than making the bed, I’m not sure our room had been cleaned. The sheets were filthy, had black specks and stuff all over them. The curtains were filthy with dust. I don’t think anything was swept or mopped. There were fingerprints and water rings all over the bed side table and the coffee table. There was black hair all over the shower walls. Our towels were stained. The bed wasn’t comfortable at all, but that really depends on the person. It was horrible. We tried speaking to the manager, but no one ever came to speak to us like we were told. We tried complaining when we left but were brushed off and ignored. For $1500 for two nights, this was the worst experience- we have had better stays at much cheaper.

Overall, the hotel was good. There were some cleanliness issues with the room. The sofa had brown stains along with the draperies. The bathroom had white towel strings on the glass, and the garbage from the previous occupant was not emptied. however, the staff was incredibly inviting and helpful. There are many dining options in and around the hotel valet service was quick and efficient.

I checked into Room 512 at 8:31 PM on May 23, 2025. By 11:30 PM, I was forced to check out after discovering numerous serious issues with the room, including: Soiled bedding, including multiple hairs on the pillows and sheets Stains on the pillowcases Couch pillows that appeared to have bodily fluids on them (semen), based on the visible staining Debris on the back of the couch Excessive dust and grime on the tables, indicating the room had not been cleaned at all When I requested clean bedding, a staff member delivered sheets but stated she was off duty and had only been told to drop them off—meaning I was expected to strip and remake the bed myself. She then mentioned that the room may not have been cleaned because the cleaning crew was recently terminated, and new staff were still getting acclimated. This is both unprofessional and deeply troubling, especially from a hotel that presents itself as a higher-end property. To make matters worse, I was offered Room 1012 as an alternative—an obvious downgrade from the King Suite I had paid for. The replacement room was a wheelchair-accessible suite that lacked the large soaking tub and panoramic views included in my original reservation. The layout was much more confined and did not reflect the experience I booked or paid $1,150 for. This experience was more than just inconvenient—it was unacceptable. My fiancé and I had spent time and energy planning this weekend and didn’t even end up staying cause of all this.

Wish I could attach photos of the love stains all over the nasty couch, the dirty floor, candy all over floor, dirty grimey windows, was so uncomfortable we got up at 645 got our stuff and checked out wasn’t comfortable all night with how nasty the room actually was. For $400+ a night I’ll never stay here again, start yes was very friendly and nice yes. But room is what I was there for and I like a clean room. I’d pick a Hilton forsure again next time no questions asked.

The rooms are very small and they don’t give you enough towels. We didn’t even have a towel to step out of the shower on. Also, for the price of this hotel, our view was just staring at another building. They did not even give us the option to upgrade to a better view, which they could have easily sold us on. The Vault and the rooftop are great but I wouldn’t spend the money to stay here again. The rooms at the Crown Plaza and The Hyatt are much nicer.

The heat at our room was not working and the next day we asked for another room. The second room’s shower head was broken and noises from the furnace/blower was keeping us awake entire night. The service was great.

Spacious corner room with a city view on the seventh floor. Really nicely set out, comfortable, large TV and plenty of windows. Room service very good too, as was the sofa. Had a glorious time. Staff service was very friendly, no matter who it was I was interacting with, Would happily stay here again!

We arrived about 6:00 pm to check in and our room was not ready. Front desk did offer us $25 voucher to be used at the hotel restaurant. The room was ready within 45 minutes, but that delay was disappointing. The bed was comfortable. I like all the things offered in the room, like qtips, shower cap, and food and beverage, although those items were only available for an additional cost and were extremely overpriced. A small bottle of Tito’s vodka was over $100. A small palm size container of cashews was $15. I liked the goose/feather pillows but they all were quite firm. The room was large which was nice, but the outside noise was SO LOUD. All morning, starting before 6am, we could hear trucks, trash trucks, and backup beeping sounds for a long period of time. Our room looked out to another building with a narrow alleyway between the two buildings. Sounded like trucks were taking that alleyway in reverse. We ended up not being able to sleep through the noise and left by 8am. I like the hotel overall but it’s looking quite dated and is not run as smoothly as it used to be. I dont know that We’ll be coming back when visiting CLE.

The room I’m in is on a corner, which is normally such a great room to have! But this one has 3/5 curtains that don’t close and the fridge is placed at the end of the bed and shines a bright light. So, if you need no lights to fall asleep (which I do), this isn’t the most comfortable layout. I had to get crafty with blocking some of the light. It was 11:30p when I discovered this, so it was too late to see about changing rooms.

We were awoken at 5:30am by beeping construction trucks that never stopped. I mean they were right outside our window. It was horrible. After we finally decided to just get up, we went to make coffee, and there’s no coffee pods in the room, so we called down to ask for coffee to be brought up, and after an hour of waiting, my husband had to go down and find coffee on his own. A VERY disappointing stay. I have no doubt they know these particular rooms are affected by the current construction, and they should either be discounted, or at the very least we should have been warned. Won’t be staying there again.

matress was so worn that our bed was having a slope.

We had to switch rooms as there was a shower in the middle of the bedroom. Not convent. Also should install fans in the water closets. Free water in the room would be nice. Beds were not comfortable. And use regular doors instead of glass doors.

The room configuration was odd, and some bathroom products were empty. Lighting was poor. Otherwise we really like this hotel.

Perfect location for Cavs game. Spacious comfortable rooms - great for groups.

David, from the night shift at the Reception, made the entire difference on my trip. He was prompt to move me in the middle of the night to a quiet room, allowing me a much needed night of sleep as there were heavy street construction noises. Linens need to be replaced and seems that the hotel is working on it.

The service felt pretty amateur. I paid 5 star prices For a 4 star property and felt like all of the employees had 2 star training. No one was dressed professionally. The bar in the lobby was incredibly short staffed and ill equipped to handle a Saturday crowd. When leaving the hotel in the morning, I requested the rooms be made up. Upon arriving back 4 hours later, I discovered they had not been. Three separate employees said “well they have until the end of the business day to do it.” I am not sure why everyone had the same response. However, the correct response in hospitality is a simple “we apologize and will have it done right away.” The property was beautiful. It had an overall feel of lacking the sophistication and elegance that the architecture and interior design would lead you to believe it has. They either need to come down in price or come up in service. Definitely a diamond in the rough.

My husband and I stayed here while attending a show and I can’t say enough good about the property. The staff is all so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The front desk staff are amazing! Nikki and Kendra you both are an amazing asset to the hotel!! The valet staff are all great. The on-site bar options and restaurant have great food at reasonable prices. We would definitely stay again when in Cleveland!

We stayed one night and tried three of the restaurant/Bars. Front desk staff and valet were super nice. Cleanliness of bathroom in our room was below average, notified the desk and they said they would take care of it, did not happen. More than half of employees we came in contact with were efficient but not friendly. Sooo many awesome places to stay in Cleveland we would probably choose a different one next time.

Greeted by Holly who was amazing. Even though we were early she let us check in and upgraded up. It really started the experience off right. The room was lovely and welcoming with all the amenities.

Centrally located within the downtown area. Walking distance to many attractions. The Vault was very cool spot but the drinks were outrageously expensive. It's a one and done for that. Room was really nice. Wife was impressed.

Great location for downtown activities. Clean and quiet

Had a great stay. Was un town for the Yankees/Guardians game. Room overlooked Progressive field. I loved the layout of the 9 and the security. Very friendly staff.

Excellent location...easy walk to Playhouse Square, restaurants, and the sports arenas. Large rooms, well-appointed rooms. We had breakfast at the Centro restaurant and cocktails in The Vault.

Great experience, great location. We stayed because it was so close to Progressive Field and Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. Staff was always very polite and helpful. Room was very clean. Dining inside the hotel was excellent.

Beautiful hotel with a wonderful restaurant for dinner. We loved the rooftop bar and the speakeasy Vault bar in the basement was so cool(was an old bank). The Hotel staff are all super nice and top-notch.

Excellent hotel with valet parking in downtown Cleveland close to many venues. Friendly helpful staff easy quick check in. The guy at the front desk had a great sense of humor, he was knowledgeable and efficient. Centro restaurant was fabulous. Our server was excellent. We stayed on a Tuesday and there was a fabulous date menu with 4 courses and great champagne included. The bread was fabulous. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, choppped salad, delicious steak and Bolonaise pasta all for $109. Huge bowl of pasta we took some to go because we were stuffed. We had carrot cake for dessert yummy! Great stay I would definitely recommend it!

We enjoyed that everything was in one place . It was nice to have the bars and restaurant in one area.

It was a beautiful hotel; the food was horrible and, the towels felt like rocks, and there was no electricity in the bathroom. The food was the most disappointing part, especially for the price.

Everything about our stay was fantastic -- the room amenities, huge soaking tub and shower, nice seating area and fireplace, beautiful lighting. The doors sliding open to the bedroom in front of the tub are cool. It's the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in-- we never heard anyone the whole time we were there and the property was almost sold out. The food at the on property restaurant was delicious and the service amazing. The Vault bar is such a cool place with incredible cocktails. Everyone we interacted with has wonderful customer service, and the valet was great even though the weather was terrible that night. The hotel allowed us to hold our bags at the front desk after checkout so we could go to brunch down the street before taking the car out of valet. Overall an amazing experience, I would stay here over and over again.
