Good location walkable to the harbour and several pubs. Very clean with good Wi-Fi and nice staff. Rooms very warm and on this occasion a very very soft and uncomfortable mattress but overall a pleasant stay. Easy to park as It has a small car park but large free car park just over the road or train station literally 4 minutes walk away.

The Queen Phillippa Hotel is in a good location for visiting Elmley National Nature Reserve (10 mins drive away) and about a10mins walk down Queenborough High Street to the seawall next to The Swale. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, there was a good choice of food for breakfast, and our evening meal at Jacey's Bistro (located in the hotel) was very good. At the rear of the hotel there's an attractive courtyard garden right next to Queenborough Creek. Our room was spotlessly clean. The only negative was that the bedroom was rather small, and the ensuite bathroom only just big enough to turn around in. Overall we were very happy with our stay at the Queen Phillippa and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Isle of Sheppey.

Needed a stay over for a friends birthday party, was recommended the Queen Philippa, I can understand why, it ticked all the boxes along with such friendly, helpful staff. Only slight negative which didn’t affect me was the small parking area, but to counter that they do have electric hook up which I didn’t need, but worth pointing out. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and if the need arises would stay there again.

Lovely, cozy hotel. From reception to check out, all the staff were welcoming and friendly. My room was a very decent size, loads of space, very comfortable bed, excellent shower and bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and I appreciated the fact they took your breakfast order ttr night before so was all ready for me at my 7.15am requested time. I also ate in the bistro restaurant on the night of my stay. Excellent starter and main at reasonable prices. If anyone is staying in the Sheerness area and needs a hotel, woukd fully recommend The Queen Philippa.

Excellent experience from check in to check out. If only all hotels were as welcoming and friendly as this. Breakfast are plate served... a real treat. Garden area is perfect for a chat and a beer.

Stayed here for 2 nights in July, was not sure what to expect but the staff were an absolute delight! The rooms were spotless and the amenities were well thought out (we had a fan already provided due to the heat!) We ate in the attached restaurant - was really tasty. Whilst they didn't have one of the breakfast options (no avocado either morning despite having a huge morrisons down the road!) the breakfast was tasty and well cooked. Would definitely recommend if you are staying on the Isle of Sheppey and want away from holiday camps.

Beautifully appointed spotlessly clean room with very comfortable bed! Best hotel room in a long time. Staff were kind, helpful and attentive. I had the vegetarian breakfast and was so impressed at how fresh all the ingredients were and that the chef cooked the veggie sausages to perfection………..most breakfast chefs seem to cremate them! All in all a fabulous experience.

Hotel was comfortable, nice and clean.The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The room was nice and large and the view was straight over the main entrance looking onto the main road and little park just outside. The food at dinner was very good and there was a good choice for breakfast which was great.

A great little hotel but there are some aspects that could be improved to make it even better. I was due to visit on Saturday 17th December and called ahead to see if I could check in early. They were very accommodating but it did bring an extra charge of £10, which brought the total for 2 nights to £170 which is quite expensive. I stayed in room 1 which was up a flight of stairs with no lift , so If you do have any mobility problems or have a lot of luggage, you may want to request a room downstairs. The room was lovely and nicely decorated but the main problem was the heating. There is only one radiator in the room and even when it was on max, it was luke warm with cold areas. I spoke with management and they did manage to find me a plug in heater but as it was only small and a large room, it took some time to heat it up. This meant that the first night was very cold for both myself and my 7 year old, so i had to have extra clothes. Once the room was warm, I tried to open a window for a bit of fresh air to stop it being so stuffy and realised that you can’t open the window. There is a plastic screen which you can open but the actual window is inaccessible which could cause a problem in summer. The shower was again only luke warm , even when it was on the maximum temperature, with a very low water pressure. Both myself and my son tried to warm ourselves up on the first night in the shower but had no such luck.

Another great stay. It’s a lovely small hotel but the rooms are very small and my room had so much furniture I had to move some so I could get out of the bed. Breakfast was great again with good quality produce well cooked. Shower pressure is never great and TV in room very small otherwise all great, I will certainly stay again despite the minor issues.

I was made to feel so welcome from the minute I arrived, until the minute I left. I was given a free upgrade on my room, and I have to say, the shower was superb. The whole place was clean, and the beer garden wasso relaxing. Great breakfast. If I have a reason to visit the island again, I will always try and book here. Thank you for a pleasant stay, highly recommend.

Everyone at Queen Phillippa were so friendly & helpful. The room was very comfortable and there was plenty of refreshments available. Breakfast, which was excellent is served until 11am which made it even more relaxing. It was true value for money. We finitely stay again next time we’re in the area.

The hotel called 3 or 4 hours before my arrival to offer the "boat experience" at no extra cost. This, was explained to me" is the opportunity of spending the night on a yacht. Upon arrival, I was shawn to the back of the hotel where the "yacht" was actually on in the water, and down a ramp. The use of a shower was at street level, toilet (no toilet paper) had a pump to flush, every minute a 2 second rumble from the generator shook the boat.. there were no other vacancies, which explained why I was offered the "boat experience". I left the hotel and stayed elsewhere

Lovely, cozy hotel. From reception to check out, all the staff were welcoming and friendly. My room was a very decent size, loads of space, very comfortable bed, excellent shower and bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and I appreciated the fact they took your breakfast order ttr night before so was all ready for me at my 7.15am requested time. I also ate in the bistro restaurant on the night of my stay. Excellent starter and main at reasonable prices. If anyone is staying in the Sheerness area and needs a hotel, woukd fully recommend The Queen Philippa.

Thé room was clean and the staff friendly. We had a couple of issues with the room which were promptly dealt with. The cooked breakfast was varied and plentiful but some fruit salad/citrus salad and some facilities for toast would have been appreciated.

Excellent experience from check in to check out. If only all hotels were as welcoming and friendly as this. Breakfast are plate served... a real treat. Garden area is perfect for a chat and a beer.

Stayed here for 2 nights in July, was not sure what to expect but the staff were an absolute delight! The rooms were spotless and the amenities were well thought out (we had a fan already provided due to the heat!) We ate in the attached restaurant - was really tasty. Whilst they didn't have one of the breakfast options (no avocado either morning despite having a huge morrisons down the road!) the breakfast was tasty and well cooked. Would definitely recommend if you are staying on the Isle of Sheppey and want away from holiday camps.

Good location walkable to the harbour and several pubs. Very clean with good Wi-Fi and nice staff. Rooms very warm and on this occasion a very very soft and uncomfortable mattress but overall a pleasant stay. Easy to park as It has a small car park but large free car park just over the road or train station literally 4 minutes walk away.

The Queen Phillippa Hotel is in a good location for visiting Elmley National Nature Reserve (10 mins drive away) and about a10mins walk down Queenborough High Street to the seawall next to The Swale. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, there was a good choice of food for breakfast, and our evening meal at Jacey's Bistro (located in the hotel) was very good. At the rear of the hotel there's an attractive courtyard garden right next to Queenborough Creek. Our room was spotlessly clean. The only negative was that the bedroom was rather small, and the ensuite bathroom only just big enough to turn around in. Overall we were very happy with our stay at the Queen Phillippa and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Isle of Sheppey.

I was looking for a decent and reasonably priced place to stay and I was very happy with the Queen Phillippa. The fundamentals are of a good standard, clean and comfortable, the breakfast was nice and lots of options. The staff were also really nice - friendly and seemed to enjoy being there, which is always a good sign. There's not much in the way of dining in the nearby vicinity but we were using it as a base to explore Sheppey anyway. It's only about 30 mins to Shellness or Elmley nature reserve, and a really nice restaurant called the Three Mariners. We enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was comfortable, nice and clean.The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The room was nice and large and the view was straight over the main entrance looking onto the main road and little park just outside. The food at dinner was very good and there was a good choice for breakfast which was great.

Whole experience staying at Queen Phillipa was a complete joy. From the moment you arrive to when you leave all the staff are friendly and attentive. A lovely little find. Everywhere immaculate, everything you would need for a night stay, was there. Ate in the restaurant, Jaceys. Food good and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again

Such a great hotel! The staff went above and beyond to help us, the views were stunning, and the breakfast was super tasty. Plus, hanging out at the bar and restaurant was a highlight—you can't beat having a drink with that perfect view!

This place is a little hidden gem. An ideal stop-over in an area that struggles to offer B&B's of this high standard. The room was excellent - very clean and well appointed, the staff were pleasant and attentive and the breakfast was perfect. The area is quiet, so don't expect much to do in the evening unless you want to drive, but some pleasant walks. I was recommended a good place to eat within a few minutes walk (The Flying Dutchman), but if you want to use one of the many takeaways that are close, the staff will let you use the dining room/bar area and provide plates and cutlery. Some evenings there is food on offer (such as a burger night in the bar), but best to check first. I will certainly use this place to break my journey again the next time I am in the area.
