A very pleasant hotel with scenic views perfect for exploring Rockland and the Midcoast. Our King Balcony room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom and balcony are small but functional. The breakfast room was large and had a variety hot and cold items. There’s an outdoor patio with tables and also sofas around a fire pit. The hotel is located at one end of Rockland’s Main Street strip so it’s a short walk to shops and restaurants and to the Farnsworth Art Museum.

We did not have a good night sleep on our last night; a contractor night crew repaved the parking lot just outside our room. The room decor had a wall picture behind the TV while there was a wide open space to the right of it. Room service is available upon request only. The ice machine on our floor was inoperative, had to use the one two floors up from our room……

Great location for walking to shops, restaurants, pubs and museums; the harbor is just across the street. Loved the little balcony off the room and the fire pit/seating area. Hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. Attention to keeping the hotel neat, clean, freshly painted and tidy throughout was evident. The work out room had a nice variety of equipment plus a gym mat for yoga work. Breakfast offered nice options, which included eggs, omelets, sausage, and bacon. Coffee and tea stations were always ready to use, day or night. I would definitely return to this hotel!

The common areas and overall style of the building screams 1980, however, the rooms have been updated and it is clean. The staff is great and the breakfast was very good with lots of choices. The front patio area is nice with a good view of the harbor. The building itself really needs a modernized facelift.

This is a nice, remodeled hotel with nice views of the Rockland Harbor. It’s directly across from the ferry. I would recommend 4th or fifth floors for better views. The parking lot is large enough without any issues. It has a nice variety of the included breakfast, and each day was a little different. Bed and room temperature were comfy. Hotel is within walking distance to some restaurants, shopping and museums. There was a Keurig, microwave, and mini fridge in room. There was a nice little balcony also…but it was quite chilly when we were there! Photo was taken from third floor balcony.

Wonderful property. Location, room comfort, amenities, breakfast, & the staff were impressive for the price point. Parking was a little uneasy as we got the last spot. We had to be directed to our parking spot (next to the front sign), by the desk staff; however, I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was great, location was close to shopping and restaurants, no problem with parking, room was spacious. Our room had a balcony with an electrical pole and wires right off of the balcony obstructing the view of the harbor. (blah) The longggg walk from the elevator to the room was very warm as the sun beamed in the many windows along the hall. I would stay there again but get a room in the higher numbers, away from the poles.

The people at the front desk and dining area make this Hotel. They were awesome. The person staffing the breakfast area was particularly great. While the facility faces the harbor, it also faces a busy main street. Please note if sensative to road noise. The hotel is tired and could use upgrading. Older dirty carpets and a funky smell in our room. Noisy wall ac. We stayed 6 hotels in New England over a few weeks. Unfortunately this one was the worst and also the second most expensive.

So good we stayed another night. Location was perfect and rooms had balcony with great view over the harbour. Location was spot on - close to local bars and restaurants (Ada's kitchen to be highly recommended). Rooms were well sized and clean and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We have stayed here several times in the past. It has always been a nice stay. However, perhaps it was the floor (2nd) our rooms (we had two connecting rooms) were on this time, but the rooms were very noisy above us. I do not mean to say the guests above were loud, rather that the walking was exceptionally loud.

I have stayed here many times and will return. However, this time the clerk who checked me in was not friendly and set the entire stay off on the wrong note. I also asked that my room be cleaned at 10:30 the next day and watched it be recorded. The room was never cleaned so asked for replacement towels.

Very nice place overall. This is a little bit older property, but it’s clean, updated and maintained very well. The breakfast is very good and the staff very helpful and friendly. A shout out to Michelle, Brady and Rachel who gave us excellent service and were a pleasure to speak with. We woulda’t hesitate to stay here again!

Great area near Lobster Festival. Very walkable to activities and shopping along the way. Loved the balcony room and could watch the parade on Saturday morning from it. Breakfast was great with wonderful selections and great coffee. Will stay there again when attending the festival.

The building is spotless. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to be in the heart of the working pier area. The ferry is directly across the street so a little noisy early in the morning, but worth getting up to watch the sun rise and activity on the dock.

Very impressed with the staff and management of this hotel. They were plentiful and made a difference in what physically is a modest hotel. While the Harbor view is nice, it certainly would be better if not staring at the back of a ferry terminal. Immediate location is more industrial, but charming just down the street where many old buildings have been renovated and plenty of nice restaurants.

The location was great! Walkable to all of the downtown restaurants and shops. Our corner room overlooking the harbor was great too! The complimentary breakfast in the morning gave you a lot of options and was very good!

Great area near Lobster Festival. Very walkable to activities and shopping along the way. Loved the balcony room and could watch the parade on Saturday morning from it. Breakfast was great with wonderful selections and great coffee. Will stay there again when attending the festival.

This is a nice, remodeled hotel with nice views of the Rockland Harbor. It’s directly across from the ferry. I would recommend 4th or fifth floors for better views. The parking lot is large enough without any issues. It has a nice variety of the included breakfast, and each day was a little different. Bed and room temperature were comfy. Hotel is within walking distance to some restaurants, shopping and museums. There was a Keurig, microwave, and mini fridge in room. There was a nice little balcony also…but it was quite chilly when we were there! Photo was taken from third floor balcony.

Room was good. Enjoyed the small balcony- was able to open window and balcony door to let ocean breeze in. Stairways were easy to access so elevator was not always necessary to use. I prefer stairs whenever possible. Coffee available in breakfast area all day-nice! Breakfast was good. Nice location to walk the town.

Thought hotel was right on the water - IT IS NOT. Has a view of harbor over parking lots…. Breakfast was really poor. Sametasteless items each morning. Rockland itself wasn’t the artsy community it makes itself out to be. Many empty storefronts on Main Street with only a few open galleries.

Nice place, clean and easy access to main street dining and shopping. Major complaint was the balcony had a big puddle of water due to the air conditioner leaking and no proper drainage - it was a mess.

We liked everything about the hotel. The view of the harbor was great. We sat on our balcony and enjoyed it. The breakfasts were good and it was near all the restaurants on Main St. Short drive to sights in the area.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It is a quaint old country inn. The swings at the ocean side were a great place for morning coffee and the front porch was nice for reading. Every one of the staff was helpful and chatty.
