John et Vero sont d’excellents hôtes, John a créé le jardin, et saura vous donner plein d’infos sur les traditions et la coutume de Tanna. Vero parle français et anglais, très bonne cuisinière et très efficace, ultra serviable. Comme sur toute ile moins bien desservie, l’électricité saute, les connexions téléphone aussi, les besoins en réparations post tempêtes s’accumulent . C’est donc un lieu ideal pour une déconnexion des réseaux, un retour à l’essentiel, au bord d’une plage magnifique.

The beach is lovely but eveything else is not! The staff are so slow to do anything like check in or serving food. And the mould in the bungalows is unbelievable. Every pillow was covered in mould as was the bathroom, which also smelled awful. Breakfast was good although variable, one day a baguette and the next day just some sliced bread. Lunch and dinner were unbelievably slow- we were literally the only people there and it took an hour and 20 mins for lunch to arrive.

Being next to the village instead of being trapped in a resort was great. John is a fantastic host. Go with him and rely on his advice. He will show you real Tanna.
