Below average experience in high price onsen. I booked a room w/private onsen bath but it’s only a tub placed at room balcony. Their outdoor public bath has no views but faces a small elevated yard. Course dinner Food was not too surprise, sitting in open top office cubic divided tables so it was very noisy from tables next to us. Overall I’ll say it feels like a Holiday inn trying raised up to a pricey higher star hotel.

아주 편안하고 만족스러운 여행이었습니다 식사는 더할나위없이 훌륭했습니다 단 리조트안에 산책로가 없어서 식사후 산책할만한곳이 없었던 점은 좀 아쉬었습니다 그리고 hotels.com 에서 조식포함은 명시하고 디너 포함은 안 알려주셔서 약간의 혼동이 있었네요

아주 편안하고 만족스러운 여행이었습니다 식사는 더할나위없이 훌륭했습니다 단 리조트안에 산책로가 없어서 식사후 산책할만한곳이 없었던 점은 좀 아쉬었습니다 그리고 hotels.com 에서 조식포함은 명시하고 디너 포함은 안 알려주셔서 약간의 혼동이 있었네요

界由布院除了主棟2層樓有電梯，其他4大棟都沒有電梯，也就是說住二樓的行李要手提走階梯上下，房間小，又蓋的像「軍營」，除了梯田景色不錯，沒什麼可以值得被誇獎的。

Lack of many amenities you would expect from a ryokan. The common area is rather small as well. We stayed two nights and the western breakfast they served were completely identical which was disappointing. Public bath is lackluster compared to many ryokan we had stayed.

新而又十分舒適的溫泉酒店。星野集團旗下酒店不需多介紹，服務人員服務質素很好。食物需未算非常精彩但也很美味。房間得大，我是次入住的房間內備有溫泉浴，加上乾濕分離浴室屬高質素。環境除了大自然環境外，還有特別的稻田（棚田）景觀，加上燈飾，樹蔭，開揚的山景，令心情舒暢。酒店更備有免費車位。價格以此水平實在算不俗。

-the taste of every course was AWFUL. (I have no idea whether the ones made those dishes EVER tasted before serving -NO complimentary stilled water even paying more than 800 dollars. (So shocked by this terrible service) -the room size and quality is NOT worth more than 800 dollars. It’s just a normal business hotel, not luxury one -something(dust?) was floating in the outdoor bath tub

Breakfast was delicious l but dinner was just ok only. However, we were too full to try the sake and rice crackers. The hand made course of lucky chain is interesting. Average experience is fantastic, especially the view, spring and the sky was full of the stars yesterday. One more thing is the bed is extraordinary comfortable.

入住時交通接送安排有問題，App留言無回覆，用上半小時才聯絡到酒店，早多早到10分鐘，職員面有不滿表情，要等約鐘先可以食早餐冇問題，但唔需要表露面色俾我睇z 床頭有叉電位係好的，但位置比較細，如果係當地人用的叉電器冇問題，如果係遊客要轉頭，嗰個位就太細用唔到

It was my first time at a Hoshio Resort and i was so amazed and I can't give you enough stars! Resort itself was super zen and amazing. It was perfect place to relax and enjoy Japanese bath, food, and massage. Staff was also beyond the moon! We had to put on snowchains on our way out because it was snowing and we were struggling when staff (Kuroiwa) came out and helped us with the hard work. Thank you so much again.

This hotel is a disappointment, especially considering its price and the expectations we had. The service at check-in was negligent, and overall, it felt as though the staff didn’t care about us at all. Here are two of our numerous disappointments: 1. We understand that dinner is part of the package and can’t be avoided. However, why should we be limited to just the early dinner seating at 5:30 PM (even though there’s a second seating at 7:30 PM), which affects our other plans? This caused us to miss our dinner without receiving a refund or credit. 2. We know the restaurant serves only a set menu. But both my wife and I are restricted from eating certain dishes—some of which can even be dangerous to us. I was surprised we weren’t asked if we have any allergies or dietary restrictions. I was even more surprised to hear our server’s response to our inquiry about it: “It’s our hotel’s policy NOT to ask our customers if they have any allergies or preferences.” This statement encapsulates our experience at this hotel. Never again.

真的非常喜歡整片翠綠山巒的景緻。大眾池在夜晚靜謐時刻別有一番風味。餐點的味道也很美味～唯一遺憾是因為遺失鑰匙被收取的賠償款過高。

눈두렁뷰라고 광고는 하지만 몇몇방만 해당되고 료칸으로써 공간이 좋고 번화가와 접근성이 너무 떨어진다 그렇다고 뷰가 특별히 좋지도 않고 식사도 무난하지 좋다고는 할 수 없다

Below average experience in high price onsen. I booked a room w/private onsen bath but it’s only a tub placed at room balcony. Their outdoor public bath has no views but faces a small elevated yard. Course dinner Food was not too surprise, sitting in open top office cubic divided tables so it was very noisy from tables next to us. Overall I’ll say it feels like a Holiday inn trying raised up to a pricey higher star hotel.

Breakfast was delicious l but dinner was just ok only. However, we were too full to try the sake and rice crackers. The hand made course of lucky chain is interesting. Average experience is fantastic, especially the view, spring and the sky was full of the stars yesterday. One more thing is the bed is extraordinary comfortable.

Lack of many amenities you would expect from a ryokan. The common area is rather small as well. We stayed two nights and the western breakfast they served were completely identical which was disappointing. Public bath is lackluster compared to many ryokan we had stayed.

This hotel is a disappointment, especially considering its price and the expectations we had. The service at check-in was negligent, and overall, it felt as though the staff didn’t care about us at all. Here are two of our numerous disappointments: 1. We understand that dinner is part of the package and can’t be avoided. However, why should we be limited to just the early dinner seating at 5:30 PM (even though there’s a second seating at 7:30 PM), which affects our other plans? This caused us to miss our dinner without receiving a refund or credit. 2. We know the restaurant serves only a set menu. But both my wife and I are restricted from eating certain dishes—some of which can even be dangerous to us. I was surprised we weren’t asked if we have any allergies or dietary restrictions. I was even more surprised to hear our server’s response to our inquiry about it: “It’s our hotel’s policy NOT to ask our customers if they have any allergies or preferences.” This statement encapsulates our experience at this hotel. Never again.

界由布院的整體員工人數嚴重不足，需要服務的時候要等待很久，能以英文跟旅客溝通的大概只有一到兩人。餐飲品質也很普通，家中一位14歲的成員晚餐被指定只能吃兒童餐，份量非常不足。香檳沒有冰過，服務的時候也未放在冰桶中。早餐不管是日式還是西式，份量都非常少，也缺乏變化。休憩室中的飲料只有茶跟咖啡和水，也沒有提供任何點心。唯一的優點就是山景優美，梯田風光很棒。但是旅館本身各方面的服務品質都有待加強。

I stayed for two nights. Everything was excellent such as ambience, view, food. One thing that needs improvement was that the staffs need to know how to introduce the food. I’m allergic to taro and there was one dish with different food. The menu said one of them contained taro but I couldn’t tell which one has taro so I asked the staff and the staff pointed to the wrong one and I only noticed when I almost took it. Otherwise the stay was excellent

Amazing property and service. Although rather costly, the sumptuous breakfast and dinner which were both included, made it excellent value for money. The best place to stay if visiting Yufuin for a couple of days.

My first stay with KAI and it didn’t disappoint me. The environment, the service and the facilities are great and amazing. The food is absolutely one of the highlights. I am very interested in stay with other KAI hotels in the future. Totally recommend Yufuin KAI, it’s totally worth it.

我們3位朋友同行，只有我不吃牛肉，第二晚的晚餐有牛肉鍋，前幾天就email 告訴界，得到的回答是只能更改3位全變素食，我只好放棄，其實牛肉的部份是各自ㄧ個小鍋，更改並不困難，但界卻沒有任何願意幫忙

This resort is just built for few years. I am surprise that the hotel is completely NOT disable friendly. You must pass down stairs before you arrive the room and there are lack of facilities for disable or even for people that with difficulty in the leg. The entrance and lobby are also a disaster in construction, there is no any shelter at the drop in area of the entrance and if it’s raining, it would make you get wet for sure. The lobby floor is done with very concave little stones.when you are doing the check in, while other staffs are moving the luggage and it make extremely noise. It’s really stupid construction. The in room balcony onsen bath is without any lighting and handles, it just very dangers to use the in room private onsen at night. It’s incredibly careless room design. The mattress is so small and and I never seems such mattress size for such high price resort. The bath tower is thin as paper. In conclusion, the price they charge is completely not reflecting the quality and expectations it should be. Not recommend for anyone

장점: 숲속에 있어 조용하고 시원해서 휴식을 취하기에 좋았고, 온천도 크지않지만 붐비는 정도까진 아니어서 괜찮았다. 유후인관광지까지 호텔셔틀로 10여분 내외라 접근성도 좋음 단점: 호텔에서 제공되어지는 저녁은 맛있긴했지만 선택의 여지가 없다는게 아쉬웠고, 휴게공간에 있는 커피 역시 라테도 마실수없는 옛날식 머신인데다 커피맛도 너무 없어 차보다 커피애호가라면 불편. 객실에 그 흔한 네스프레소머신이라도 비치해주면 좋겠고, 공용온천엔 다이슨드라이기가 있는데 객실엔 다른 걸로 되어있어 아쉬웠다. 그리고 숙소가 숲속에 위치해있는데도 불구하고 산책로가 제대로없어 2박이상 연박하는 사람들에겐 아쉬웠다.
