Outside of our room was the roomy parking area, full of flowers in bloom. The owner gave us good choices for near-by dinner restaurants. On check-out there was fresh whole fruit, coffee and kindness.

This facility is an older building that has been relatively well maintained. All appliances functioned although the refrigerator was old and ran continuously. City water has a mild sulpher taste and guests are offered bottled water for drinking. We didn't try the morning breakfast, but went to a really nice coffee shop a block away. Bed was comfortable and there were bedside tables with reading lamps. For a small, rural town, this is a decent place to stay.

This place was a cute little roadside style motor lodge, with lovely plants and flowers around the property. The woman at the front desk was really nice. When my TV cable box wasn't working, I called down to see if maybe I was having a user error moment, but she confirmed it wasn't. The same lady that checked me in came promptly and set out troubleshooting the issue. She went away for a few minutes and returned with a working cable box. They had no vacancy, so I'm pretty sure she brought me the one she was using in her on-site living quarters or office area. Even though I had told her it was okay it wasn't working, she went above and beyond to make me comfortable, including listening to me discuss my trip that was about visiting my I'll mother and was so kind. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The plants! The Breakfast! And the location! There’s plants all around the hotel makes me feel happy to see something green and live, early in the morning they offer you breakfast in the office, they had yogurt, muffins, granola bars, coffee, milk, orange juice and fruit. The location is perfect.! It’s right behind the Sacramento River, make it a quiet and peaceful place to stay in. I will definitely go back and stay again (:

It was very clean and the hotel receptionist was so kind and helpful. I felt very safe in the area. Pros: very comfortable king bed, roomy shower, amenities in the room were great, plenty of lightlng and seating. Cons: a lot of unsightly junk stored beneath the stairwell. Change out the doorknobs, they're rather flimsy. Add more healthy items to the breakfast offerings (a lot of carbs). Cute little town with tree-lined streets and cute older houses. Loved the Taproom, I suggest a visit!

This is a perfectly nice motel for the price. The bed was comfortalbe. The room was clean. The shower was strong and nice. Older motel with a metal key instead of an electronic one but that wasn't bad as I felt like I was in the 80's again. No breakfast except a couple of fruit bars and coffie. Worth the price on a weekday.

My second time here. Stayed here in April and had to return on business so I booked them again. They are new owners and have replaced everything so, it’s like a brand new motel! The family owners are very kind and attentive to our needs. I’ll be back in February 2025 for another business trip.

When I’m in Colusa this is where I stay because I know I’ll be met by a friendly staff and a clean room. It’s not the Ritz but it’s cozy and the friendliness of the staff and the location are spot on. Walking distance to restaurants and a nice little Irish Pub.

The room with a King Bed was perfect. The motel appears like it has been here for quite a few years. However, everything was well maintained like the nice bathroom, the A/C, the curtains and bedding. Outside of our room was the roomy parking area, full of flowers in bloom. The owner gave us good choices for near-by dinner restaurants. On check-out there was fresh whole fruit, coffee and kindness.

The plants! The Breakfast! And the location! There’s plants all around the hotel makes me feel happy to see something green and live, early in the morning they offer you breakfast in the office, they had yogurt, muffins, granola bars, coffee, milk, orange juice and fruit. The location is perfect.! It’s right behind the Sacramento River, make it a quiet and peaceful place to stay in. I will definitely go back and stay again (:

This is a perfectly nice motel for the price. The bed was comfortalbe. The room was clean. The shower was strong and nice. Older motel with a metal key instead of an electronic one but that wasn't bad as I felt like I was in the 80's again. No breakfast except a couple of fruit bars and coffie. Worth the price on a weekday.

The inside of the rooms were clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi was fast and not laggy. The breakfast options was very limited, and could be better. The room did not smell like smoke or pets.

Just stayed one night after a memorial service for a friend. Room was clean and quiet after the people arriving ended. Nice receptionist and a very reasonable place to stay if you wanted to visit Colusa. Apparently, hunters and fishermen want to visit Colusa. Served good hot coffee in the morning along with pastries.

It was very clean and the hotel receptionist was so kind and helpful. I felt very safe in the area. Pros: very comfortable king bed, roomy shower, amenities in the room were great, plenty of lightlng and seating. Cons: a lot of unsightly junk stored beneath the stairwell. Change out the doorknobs, they're rather flimsy. Add more healthy items to the breakfast offerings (a lot of carbs). Cute little town with tree-lined streets and cute older houses. Loved the Taproom, I suggest a visit!

While I usually avoid motels and Inns when traveling, especially for work as you never know what you’re gonna get but I went off the great reviews and took my chances to my surprise and delight. The property is obviously well taken care of and gave me a great affordable quiet sleep that I had hoped for. Not only was the motel nice, the town of Colusa is adorable and sort of a snap back in time to what many amarrican small towns looked and felt like. I was lucky enough to catch the “free music in the park” which runs on Thursday through summer that was amazing but also offered a good glimpse of the fabric that builds this town. It wasn’t a local band either but none other than Young Dubliners who are global touring act, all for free and super intimate. I look forward to staying here again in the future, preferably with my family.
