Texas Bungalows Hotel & Hotel Que at Lakeline Austin Cedar Park

Receptionist was courteous and helpful. No elevators here so had to request a room on the first floor. Room was nice with fresh towels and sheets every day. Coffee in lobby area with one cup coffee maker with dry creamer/sweetener. Ice maker was near by. We would stay again.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Property was extremely clean and place was quiet. Parking lot does fill fast. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, it was so soft comfortable. Only issue was that the hot water stopped when i got ready to shower. It may have been due to eveyone using it at the same time, but other than that the stay was excellent.

Room was just ok. The tv never worked right. I think the cable kept freezing up. Not enough parking.

No elevator

This was our 1st stay at this location. Overall, we found it to be modest but very clean and spacious. We stayed for 2 days total and on the 2nd floor. The only real challenge we had was the trek up the outside staircase to get to our room (there was not an elevator, and the weather was bad at the time - rain/sleet). For the rate we paid we felt it was a really comfortable stay. We would definitely have no issues staying there again.

Only thing was ...at just be midnight I went to the front office to buy some waters and I rang and rang and rang the bell and noone ever came. Had to drive to the closest store which was a 10 minute drive. Very inconvenient. The hotel was very nice and new. The rooms in building 3 were perfect.

We only needed a bedroom for a one-night stay while we were visiting my son's family. Our room was adequate for that BUT there was no provision for coffee in our room AND the lobby was closed when we came back to our room for the night AND in the moring when we were ready to leave.

When we arrived the place looked shabby. The lobby door had wood where the glass had been. Rust and flaky paint. Our door would only partially open because it hit the floor. Tub broken, no towel bar, no cups, no handles on the drawers.

Well upon pulling into establishment, noted a lot people hanging outside their rooms. Very shady and was worried about leaving my car unintended. Then the fridge did not work and I had food that needed chilled. And the fridge had a horrible odor. Called the front desk and asked for another room and iwas told there was not one. And something to put the ice in so I can keep my food cold and guess what? Was still the ice machine had been out for some time and then he would send a maintenance man up which meant I had to stay up longer than I planned (had to be at work in 7 hours and was hopong to get to sleep). When the maintenance man arrives he only opened the door, turned the thermostat knob and said, "well there are some construction workers recently they cooked every night it was working then." But he did give me what little I see had in his room so that I could pack my food in hopes of it staying cold. Let's see there was no coffee maker, there was no clothes hangers, no shampoo only little tiny bars of soap that didn't lather up. Oh but the best part was the booking was accidentally booked over the many times I was kicked off of me hotels.com app. Never completed the booking before I was kicked off or confirmed it and of course it was a non-refundable booking that they denied refunding when hotels.com called. So remember if it says no refundable booking, expected to be a dump as this one was and how it got a 7.0 score is beyond me. I give it a 2.0 and that's being generous

My stay at The Bungalows Hotel & Event Center was a mix of positive and negative experiences. The website promised coffee/tea available in the lobby. What they did not mention, is that lobby is closed all night (at least for those who is placed in the newer building). They open the door at 9am, and I encountered rudeness from the receptionist when asked to enter the lobby 15 minutes earlier. I wonder how safe the neighborhood is if they are afraid of opening the lobby before 9am. They also promise soundproofed rooms, but I could hear my neighbors very well. On a positive note, the room itself was clean and spacious, with impressively high ceilings. It is not well thought thru though, like there is no shelving in the bathroom, so towels are stacked on top of the toilet. Like I said the room does not have a coffee machine, it offers soap bars only, so bring your shampoo and shower gel.

The room was dirty. Couch and bed sheets had stains. Sheets were old and worn. There were bugs on the bed. The counters and end tables weren’t clean. There was a stained wash cloth in the bathroom. I don’t believe the room was even cleaned. We didn’t even stay the night. We cut our vacation short and drove home.

Everything went smooth until we got to the room cause the room hadn't been cleaned yet and I even saw a small cockroach this morning!

Clean rooms, friendly front desk staff

The room was clean. It was just that it smelled like cleaner covering up must, and when I went to bed it smelled of urine and heavy flow. The sheets were clean. White. So it must have been the mattress. There was no side table lamp and the overhead light was that blinding blue light that makes it look like you’re in a park bathroom and not somewhere you’d like to relax a little. Also the fridge smelled. It’s most def a bargain room. “A place to lay my head for the night.” (I told myself over and over.) But should I be that way again, I will spend a little more money and go elsewhere.

Clean room

Easy and smooth check in. Only minor issue was finding a dead cockroach when walking inside the room. Ac worked well, fridge, and microwave were in working order!

Blow dryer was not working at all. Bathroom had mold on the ceiling. Entry door was very hard to open. Very disappointing!!

Mostly clean. Microwave was definitely not cleaned, some hair on the floor behind the bathroom door. Odd little hotel. Unusually high ceiling. Everything else seemed really clean and new. The window looked straight into a weird little alley with a brick wall a few feet in front of the window. The checkin wasn't super warm and welcoming but if you just need sleep for a night it was fine. TV channel selections were weird too.

Bed was comfortable, full size refrigerator was good, a few things could use repair. Nothing that would change staying here again.

Not even a cup for coffee. Why have an extended stay with a kitchen if theres no kitchen items at all. Everything else was ok.

I have stayed here many times before, but this will be my last. The customer service here is severely lacking, particularly after 9pm. I will look for true hotels/accomodations that at least attempt to help their paying guests.

I won't be staying at the Texas bungalows again. I've stayed there once before and it went pretty well, this time the kitchen sink was busted and leaking, which is of course fixable problem I had this time was on the morning of checkout when I needed a little extra time being a single dad with three kids, one wasn't feeling well, I went down to the lobby and asked for a 1 hr extension and was told no unless I paid $20. He said these were orders from the boss because they were fully booked and people were already calling to come in... This was a Sunday and the parking lot was pretty much empty so that really didn't make much sense.

Very nice staff. At check in and check out. Things a very clean, safe and comfortable hotel. Not fancy but very good value for a good price. I’m coming back.

It was a horrible stay I want a refund. The person working the counter was a asleep and I waited 30-45 minutes to get help, it wasn’t until I used some kinda google Alexa thing to call someone that they got ahold of the person working and checked us in and then it was the wrong room we didn’t get the kitchen, or the closet, or a regular room we got a handicap room with a flat shower and water got everywhere and we had to use our towels to clean it up so we wouldn’t slip and then they didn’t bring more towels or clean the room… I was a horrible stay all together

They will not allow you to check in until 3pm, I showed up at 2:39 and was told to wait.

Guys @ front desk are cool. The lady is mean & tries to upcharge your reservation (ex: charging $10 for a safe listed as a room amenity)

While older it was very clean on the inside. The staff was warm, friendly and helpful.

Rooms are very clean, check in is a breeze and front desk is very helpful. Staff are very kind and hospitable.

It was on a very dark section of the street with no streetlights. The shower would not stay a constant temperature, and the toilet wouldn't flush until I worked on it.

quiet surrounding. When the neigbour or room 107 kept his alarm active from 0600 till 0630 am the reception did put us in a different room. A microwavable cup and plate plus some clothing hangers would be handy.

Had the King Suite. Good value for the price. Everything seemed new and functional. Good AC. Surroundings felt safe. Easy parking near the room. Close to the major roads and freeway.

If you want a cheap hotel with few amenities, then this is your place. We booked it because of the price. Went to Cedar Park for the train ride and just needed a place to sleep for the night that was close. There is a flooring place right in front of the hotel, so you really have to pay attention. The desk person was very nice.

Check in was effortless. The room was nice and clean. the only reason I gave less than 4 stars was the lack of morning coffee. If I return to the Austin area I wold book again and bring my travel pot. We came to the area to see the spring wildflowers so did not spend much time in the room. It was perfect for our needs. Thank you!

Complimentary coffee room closed with a plywood door. Scary! No cable! Joke! Watched old episodes of Bones that was 20 years old. No shampoo and conditioner in room. Loud car alarms went off all night. Grocery cart abandoned in parking lot. Expedia rate was doubled the price the motel rates are. Very misleading 8 out of 10 rating. No way this motel is an 8. Never again!

the room was great! I feel that they should provide a light breakfast like continental: maybe fruit & bagels with the coffee
