Resort style hotel, situated above shops, restaurants and entertainment. Extremely long walk from main entrance elevator to hotel room. Room was quite large with plenty of space for a family of 4. Starbucks at the main entrance was convenient. Valet requires you to walk in and drop off keys, but this was not obvious upon arrival.

The room was larger and even nicer than the photos. Every person who worked there was very nice and helpful. I was disappointed in the spa. It advertised manicures and pedicures but they don't currently offer them there.

I wish I can give it 5 stars for property condition but the pool conditions like the steps were unsafe. The step tiles seem to hang over so it’s sharp. My son slice his toe pretty good. Everything else was amazing. Location was wonderful will definitely come back next year.

This was our second time staying at the Island. It is an extremely clean hotel with the nicest employees. They gave us free vouchers for drinks and a dessert at the restaurants after finding out it was my son’s birthday. The pool and hot tub are great and we were alone in it a few days so that was nice. I have a few complaints about the rooms. The floors make your feet black so that’s kind of yucky. The other complaint is just personal to me. We’ve had rooms overlooking the stores each time. The lights stay on all night so it’s very bright in the room when you’re trying to sleep and in the morning when the sun comes up. I like it to be a cave so that could just be a me issue. My only other complaint is the loading and unloading area. In busy times, there is nowhere to park and unload your luggage or load in your vehicle. Just a heads up. Overall we love this place and will return.

This is a tourist trap. You get bombarded at check in to do a time share presentation and given free drink tickets for the worst drinks I’ve ever tasted. It took 10 minutes to get to our room because the place is so big. Staff saw me struggling and dropping things at check out and just stood and watched. Restaurants are full of young, immature workers. The pool was cloudy. Parking is far and not easily accessible. Sad I wasted money here.

Margaritaville Hotel is clean, safe, convenient, and comfortable. Had excellent experience with staff. Highly encourage river view if you need a dark room to sleep. The lights from storefront signage keeps village view rooms too bright at night. Staff was also helpful with obtaining the Tesla Destination Charger in the valet lot.

Hotel super conveniently located to many things to do, and food to eat. Hotel was overwhelming big, with a tiny lobby area. Standard double queen room courtyard side seemed a little smaller, and floors felt dirty. Besides that, everything else about room fine. Unfortunately their is no indoor pool, and the outdoor rooftop pool not to big compared to how many guest that can want to use it. Also, pricey $25 a day valet which can add up staying a week, and $10 self parking that is almost 10 minute walk away from hotel makes no sense. Self parking should be free! Overall, hotel seems like a nice place for couples, but not geared towards families, though many would be fine. Just not what we look for in a long stay.

Our room was very spacious and mostly clean, but floor was very dirty (wiped up a small spill and the towel was covered in brown dust/dirt, and many of my white socks were ruined with brown dirt stains). Loved that we had a balcony to sit outside in the morning/evening. Constant dinosaur sounds (from village below) from 9am to 10pm were annoying though. If we stay there again, we'll ask for the river side instead of the village side. Hotel was within great waliking and driving access to local activities, entertainment and restaurants. This hotel is better for young families with children than seniors.

In the restroom, there were lots of ants, and all they did was spray something, but they continued to return. While we were away, housekeeping only made the bed and changed the towels, but didn't clean our room thoroughly.

Very well themed and friendly staff. However this property has issues with parking is far away unless you valet. The unloading area is extremely small for the size of this hotel even getting in to unload can be challenging with all the people walking in the area. The cleanliness is not what I expected. I put on a pair of clean socks and literally after 10 minutes walking around the room they were black on the bottom. And lots of dust everywhere around the room. The walkway out front can be extremely slippery if it rains. Again the staff is very friendly.

The property is close to a lot of fun activities, which is why we booked it. Unfortunately when we arrived, we pulled out the bed in the pull out couch and it was stained with a bunch of brown stuff (the sheets and the undercover both). We asked the front desk to have someone come change the sheets, and they were quick to respond. But then later we pulled the extra blanket and sheets out, which again had yellow stains on them. We also noticed brown stains on one of the outlets and the back of the bathroom door. The air vent also had clearly not been cleaned and was completely covered in layers of dust right on the ceiling near the bed. So overall, even though the staff was always quick to come fix issues, we just did not feel the property was clean and well cared for.

Very nice hotel and room. Amazing view. Room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Great layout but beware you will be cleaning it. When we got in we had dirt on our feet and there was food and dirt on the floors. I decided to get some stuff and clean the floors and bathroom and the wipes and towels were black after many wipes. Also found pubic hair in our shower. We have small children so thankfully we cleaned to protect them but it was so dirty it took my husband and I about 90min to clean until we just said good enough. In my opinion vacation is short and it’s not worth the time taken away to clean your own room.

Stayed in a Village room. The plantation blinds did not close to shut out the outside lighting from the room and the stores’ signs. It was difficult to fall asleep because our room was partially illuminated all night, every night. The staff is exceptional. Great location.

Room was nice and clean. Could hear laundry on other side of wall. Balcony for our room was not that great as it was right next to the bridge and front entrance of hotel. So it was very noisy and not much privacy if you left blinds open or opened the balcony doors. Pillows were not comfortable at all. It was nice to be close to shopping and food.

We’ve been staying here since a month after they opened in 2014 and have never had a bad experience! It’s our absolute favorite place to stay! This was our first time in a room with a crappy view but honestly that didn’t even matter to us. So if you want a river view I’d try to stay away from r249 area. We’ve stayed in River ones before and the view was great. The convenience of this hotel on the island makes your stay unforgettable! Highly recommend!

The geese were very loud and that made it hard to sleep. However, we left the bathroom fan and tv on the second night and that helped drown out the noise from them. Otherwise, this is a fabulous place to stay. Room was amazing!

Valet staff were friendly. My only real complaint is that the hotel is basically one long hallway. We had a room at the very end so anytime we came from valet and up the elevator from the main entrance, it was about a 4 min walk to our room (we timed it) which really isn’t a major deal for us but for people who have trouble walking, I highly recommend specifically booking a room close to the main entrance’s elevator. Furthermore, it seems like hot water was only pumped from the front of the hotel, so it would take roughly 15 mins of preheating the shower to get it warm given our location at the end of the hall.

The staff at Margaritaville Island Hotel was great! They always greeted our family with a smile and were very helpful. The only issue we really had came with sleep. The beds weren’t very comfortable and the pillows were terrible. It was also difficult to sleep due to the noise. I felt like I could hear everything from the hall or outside our balcony doors. Overall, the experience was good but not excellent.

Enjoyed the access of being right near the shops on the Island. Giving multiple entry access points from the Island to get back to the room was super convenient. Nice big room. The fireplace in the room was nice and warm.

Hotel was great, you can to anything in the islands. One thing that wasn’t that good was the beds, no very comfortable wife and I had to sleep in separate beds, sleep corner to corner the be able to sleep, other than that the room was great especially the rain shower in the bathroom

Arriving to check in and parking is quite chaotic. If you don’t want to pay extra for valet, self park is a good 5 min walk. Trying to get to the entrance to unload and check in is wild. Traffic is non stop and a trolley comes by for pick up right in the middle of everything. Fair warning concierge not only want to help you with local attraction tickets but for a timeshare tour. The young men are easy to talk to and very sweet, but it’s the last thing I want to discuss after a 3 hour trip and trying to get luggage up to my room. Maybe it was the time of year we stayed but there was a lot of noise near our room very early in the mornings. The location is ideal if you don’t have a lot planned away from Pigeon Forge. We liked that we could hang out and walk to The Island or other nearby restaurants and shops.

We had a great time. Everything here was great. The service we got from Jess at the front desk was amazing. She we above and beyond to help us. There was a little mix upon our room an she made sure we had what we needed.. I was a little disappointed cause I didn’t have a fountain view but everything else was great. Thanks Jess for all you did. You were awesome.

The staff at Margaritaville Island Hotel was great! They always greeted our family with a smile and were very helpful. The only issue we really had came with sleep. The beds weren’t very comfortable and the pillows were terrible. It was also difficult to sleep due to the noise. I felt like I could hear everything from the hall or outside our balcony doors. Overall, the experience was good but not excellent.

Second time staying and loved it once again. We have had both a river view and shopping alley view. River side is quieter, but view room is fun to feel like you are part of the “Island energy”. Front desk manager and staff were wonderful, housekeeping staff helpful and friendly, and valet was friendly and efficient. The two experiences that were less than hospitable were with the bartender at the rooftop bar and the concierge. Room was clean and spacious. Wonderful shower! Walking distance from main entrance to room was quite far but luckily there was an elevator closer to our room that took us to the shops below that made the walk to the valet much shorter. Our one negative is their valet service. It’s slow and congested. Saturday night of our stay I found out why it’s so congested. The valets take cash payments from people not staying on site to park at the valet location while they shop/eat at the island. I personally witnessed this happening twice while I was waiting for my vehicle and I was staying onsite! Very frustrating!

Self parking was a rip off. They are now charging $10.00 a day to park your vehicle which is a good ways from the hotel. One day we got no housekeeping. Guess they skipped over us.

The Inn is right on the Island so we never left for anything! Shopping, dining, the beautiful fountain! They had live bands too! Valet parking also. Starbucks in the entrance. It was the best!

Loved the location and most everything was a good experience but I didn't like that the parking was so far away. I realize you offer valet parking but I don't care for that and there was a lot of walking to get to our room so that wasn't a very good experience considering my back issues. I would go back but I would make a few different choices.I

We usually stay at a very popular Dollywood resort that will go unnamed. It's a great hotel, but as my kids have gotten older, they've outgrown it. This was our first stay at Margaritaville Island Hotel. It was perfect for our kids who are now 16, 12, and 7. There was something there for everyone. I'm so glad we found this space! We will be back. Very clean, very friendly staff. We barely used our car - you don't have to leave the grounds for anything. Starbucks is also in the lobby!

This was our second time staying at the Island. It is an extremely clean hotel with the nicest employees. They gave us free vouchers for drinks and a dessert at the restaurants after finding out it was my son’s birthday. The pool and hot tub are great and we were alone in it a few days so that was nice. I have a few complaints about the rooms. The floors make your feet black so that’s kind of yucky. The other complaint is just personal to me. We’ve had rooms overlooking the stores each time. The lights stay on all night so it’s very bright in the room when you’re trying to sleep and in the morning when the sun comes up. I like it to be a cave so that could just be a me issue. My only other complaint is the loading and unloading area. In busy times, there is nowhere to park and unload your luggage or load in your vehicle. Just a heads up. Overall we love this place and will return.

This is a tourist trap. You get bombarded at check in to do a time share presentation and given free drink tickets for the worst drinks I’ve ever tasted. It took 10 minutes to get to our room because the place is so big. Staff saw me struggling and dropping things at check out and just stood and watched. Restaurants are full of young, immature workers. The pool was cloudy. Parking is far and not easily accessible. Sad I wasted money here.

I first want to say even if you book through Experian you still get the complimentary perks. The resort fees came up to $71 when checking in. The location is perfect, close to everything. Last June we stayed on the opposite end a traffic was horrible. We arrived and had dinner at the chill & bar at the location. Food was really good and waitress was attentive. Only thing is we weren’t warn about the added gratuity but no biggie just surprised. Room is spacious we got a standard room with two queen beds.

We said easy parking for "what did we like" as we used valet. It would have been more fun if we had grandkids. Our room was located near the pools and it was LOUD in the very early mornings, with beeps from delivery trucks backing up. The food was all bar food and fried food, but that\'s to be expected on vacation in that part of the country and some was really tasty.

Our family was in town for a soccer tournament. We loved the hotel--it was exceptionally clean and the rooms were comfortable and cozy, especially having a fireplace in the room to enjoy. The location was perfection for what we were looking for--located right on The Island, there was plenty of dining options and fun attractions for the kids. Would absolutely stay again!

The property and its staff were incredible from beginning to end. Our room was very nice, we had one overlooking the river. The shops, restaurants and loads of things to do on the island if Pigeon Forge were amazing! We also visited their spa for a couples massage .. FANTASTIC! We highly recommend this resort. Already planning our next trip back.

Booked this last minute… was great. Great views and close to everything. Some areas for unloading was a little tight, but once parked everything was great. Staff was helpful. Pool on rooftop was awesome. Check out the restaurant in the hotel as well. Great food
