Staff were extremely friendly and room was very nice. Only point to note is the ground level rooms have small courtyard which backs onto rear of another room. When staff are waiting in this area to clean a room and they talking loudly it can be heard in the adjacent rooms which kind of annoying if you still in bed.

Our suite was big, clean, and very comfortable. We ate breakfast at the hotel every day, and it was really good. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful. Perhaps best of all, the staff was so kind and accommodating. A special shout out to Noe and Dulce, who both did their best to make our stay special.

A great hotel, the whole staff was super friendly. From the housekeeping to the managers they were very helpful. The layout of the hotel looks well throughout and the courtyard is beautiful in person just as shown in the pictures. Would definitely book again in the future!

Probably the best boutique hotel we have ever stayed at. The design was outstanding, the rooms spacious and well equipped. Dulce, the manager was super helpful and friendly. Neighborhood far enough from the Zocalo to be quiet. Each apartment has its own enclosed patio.

Marialica Suites was more than I expected. The hotel is very clean, room layout is perfect it had a nice patio outside your door, the bed was comfortable and the staff are very welcoming. Also the area is very convenient, I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Oaxaca!

The place is beautiful. Almost all modern lovely 2-room suites around a beautiful courtyard. Some of the best restaurants are a block away. Easy street parking right out front (rental cars only $15/day and useful for getiing to all the beautiful villages and sites in the countryside). Tbe manager and her husband spoke fluent English and were some of the nicest people we have ever met. About 6 blocks from the tourist part of town, but that also made ir quiet and pleasnt. Great wifi!

A perfect spot to make your Oaxacan home base. Nice and very clean suites with everything we needed (small kitchen, indoor seating area, clean lovely bathroom and small table and chairs outside and mostly importantly a large and comfortable bed!). A good easy breakfast included. But the best part was the wonderful and personable owner, Dulce. We came for Dias de los Muertos and Dulce (the magical owner!) made sure everything went perfectly! Restaurant recommendations (all delicious!), short day trips that she would recommend and help organize transport for, and anything else you could possibly need. Her staff were equally lovely and helpful (especially Neo). We would definitely come back and bring our kids next time :).

Small boutique hotel with 10 suites. Though a 10 minute walk from the center, it is in a very safe and walkable location. We had a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchenette. We also had a small semi private patio for sitting The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. I would highly recommend.

Gorgeous hotel with tons of shops near by and only 15 min. walk to the Zocalo. The suites are very spacious with kitchen and private patio included. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. They gave us great options on tours to do and tips to buy them at affordable price. We will stay here again next time we are in Oaxaca.

Our stay was wonderful, the place was spotless and the team helped us with calling taxis and making morning lattes. Easy 7 block walk to Centro for great dining options. We felt very safe and well cared for. This is a gem!

Es una hotel súper tranquilo y espacioso, de echo no te da la sensación de hotel por que es como un pequeños estudio con una cocinera sala y las camas están en cuartos separados, la limpieza del hotel De las habitaciones están de no creerse de limpias el personal es súper amable.

Nice small property but we experienced issues with air conditioning it was dripping at middle of the night, they sent a repair man, then it was very noisy, the split unit it is set up by the bed at least in our room, the living- kitchen area has no air only a portable fan. Also our tv control was not working properly to turn off the television you needed to get up from bed and manually turn it off. ( this was our second TV control) Location is about 7 blocks from Zocalo, we felt safe, also quiet, boutique hotel staff was very nice, the food at the restaurant for breakfast just ok not recommended. Clean property.

Great spot a 10 minute walk from the zocalo. Loved having the separation of bedroom and kitchenette/sitting area. Safe area but is a walk to majority of restaurants and attractions.

Truly the perfect place to stay in Oaxaca for our family of 4. We had the family suite with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen and it made our stay there dramatically better than any hotel room. The property is in a quiet neighborhood with very easy 10 min walking access to everything you could want in the city center. An easy 25 min ride from the airport also made life easy. The rooms were kept beautifully and the fridge was stocked with everything we needed. Bathrooms and shower were perfect, great water pressure and heat and they made it very easy for our kids with a crib for our infant and helped us get high quality reliable baby sitters when we wanted to go out. Can't recommend this place more!

I loved staying here and would love to stay again. The surroundings are beautifully designed and everyone is totally helpful and friendly. The only thing I would suggest is a topper to soften the bed.

We have no complaints about the property itself. Rooms were good. Little kitchen was cute. The beds were stiff hard not comfortable( I don't like soft beds, but this one hurted my side when i slept on one) The real problem i had when at check in I asked if we can use the court yard table and chairs under our windows, by our front door( our room was on the second floor) The older lady, who was at the reception, said that we could if there was no one on the first floor, but unfortunately there are people there for the same 3 days as us, so we can't because it's not nice to seat by their windows..Ok.. we moved in and I checked my booking. Sure enough the court yard was on our description and for us to use. It was our 20st anniversary. We like drink coffee outside. We like to play chess with my husband and there was no other table available to play on. For some reason, even though we paid to use it, we weren't as important as a people on the 1st floor. When I asked her next morning why did she said we can't use it, she said :" Oh, you could, but it's not nice"... well, It wasn't nice to take away something that was considered as important for us, when I was booking that hotel. One day we came back at 8 pm and our door was wide opened. When I asked why? Same lady says that it's ok. Also, when we were checking out I was waiting by reception for my husband to get the car.Then we loaded the car, said good bye, got into and started car same lady asked to get out and pay for parking

Gorgeous hotel with tons of shops near by and only 15 min. walk to the Zocalo. The suites are very spacious with kitchen and private patio included. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. They gave us great options on tours to do and tips to buy them at affordable price. We will stay here again next time we are in Oaxaca.

After the airlines cancelled my flight and lost one night at the hotel, we were surprised by an upgraded room. Everything was perfect! It was like being at home. The staff treated us like family, always ready to help us. Dulce, the manager was truly classy and so helpful, arranged a van to accommodate our large group for a tour. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was quiet, a little walk to the main downtown area but worth it. Nice restaurant right down the street accommodated our large group. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Before booking, I had read numerous reviews of Marialicia Suites that opined what an amazing place this is... they did not do it justice! My wife and I spent 5 incredible nights in Oaxaca, and as much as we loved the sights, and the food, and the culture - it was the accommodations that really made our trip! Dulce (the manager) and her staff (especially Oscar and Noe) went out of their way again and again to make sure that we were comfortable. It was obvious from the minute we arrived that these individuals were clearly invested in making sure that we enjoyed our experience - both in Oaxaca and at Marialicia Suites. My wife and I celebrated our 20'th anniversary while we were in Oaxaca and Dulce even arranged to have flowers delivered to our room to help us celebrate the moment! I have stayed in hotels all over the world, but have never felt as welcome and valued as I did at Marialicia. We had a great time in Oaxaca and will definitely be back - when that happens I will not even look into any other options for lodging. The only bad thing I could say about Marialicia Suites is that it has probably ruined me for every other hotel I will ever stay at! Marialicia Suites far exceeded my expectations in every way. The design is breathtaking. It is a peaceful sanctuary just steps away from the excitement of Oaxaca Centro. The staff is kind and helpful. Dulce and Javier are the consummate hosts. The breakfast is delicious. The suites are gorgeous and stocked with everything you can think of. Loved it!

A perfect spot to make your Oaxacan home base. Nice and very clean suites with everything we needed (small kitchen, indoor seating area, clean lovely bathroom and small table and chairs outside and mostly importantly a large and comfortable bed!). A good easy breakfast included. But the best part was the wonderful and personable owner, Dulce. We came for Dias de los Muertos and Dulce (the magical owner!) made sure everything went perfectly! Restaurant recommendations (all delicious!), short day trips that she would recommend and help organize transport for, and anything else you could possibly need. Her staff were equally lovely and helpful (especially Neo). We would definitely come back and bring our kids next time :).

This stay felt very safe and the manager and staff were professional and helpful when we had questions. The hotel is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the city center which was very convenient. Dulce helped us with airport transports and food recommendations and she was a pleasure to talk to. We would definitely stay here again. It was clean and well maintained and was beautiful as well as quiet.

Dulce and the rest of the team gave us the best experience in Oaxaca, they went above and beyond to help us with everything, from scheduling a cab at 4:00am to give us plenty of information about the city. Quiet suite, got plenty of rest. I definitely recommend this place.

Marialicia Suites was an ideal place to stay in Oaxaca. Within a 15 min walk to the center of town, but far enough away to be quiet. The host, Dulce, is delightful and the staff are all very helpful. Beautifully and recently built, it's wonderful to have a kitchenette. The only thing is that it's all hard surfaces. it would be nice to have an area with a rug or other soft surface somewhere in the apartment. Overall, highly recommend Marialicia Suites.

The place is beautiful. Almost all modern lovely 2-room suites around a beautiful courtyard. Some of the best restaurants are a block away. Easy street parking right out front (rental cars only $15/day and useful for getiing to all the beautiful villages and sites in the countryside). Tbe manager and her husband spoke fluent English and were some of the nicest people we have ever met. About 6 blocks from the tourist part of town, but that also made ir quiet and pleasnt. Great wifi!

Such a sweet, chic and friendly place! Just outside the madhouse tourist center and close to where the expats seem to favor with great food options and coffee shops. The suite was spacious and very well equipped. The breakfast is wonderful. Can’t say enough good about Marialicia! Across the street is the BEST massage, too. Poleo- ENJOY! Also check out ‘Once in Oaxaca for the best coffee and treats!

Nice small property but we experienced issues with air conditioning it was dripping at middle of the night, they sent a repair man, then it was very noisy, the split unit it is set up by the bed at least in our room, the living- kitchen area has no air only a portable fan. Also our tv control was not working properly to turn off the television you needed to get up from bed and manually turn it off. ( this was our second TV control) Location is about 7 blocks from Zocalo, we felt safe, also quiet, boutique hotel staff was very nice, the food at the restaurant for breakfast just ok not recommended. Clean property.

Our suite was big, clean, and very comfortable. We ate breakfast at the hotel every day, and it was really good. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful. Perhaps best of all, the staff was so kind and accommodating. A special shout out to Noe and Dulce, who both did their best to make our stay special.

Very nice accommodations. There was some construction going on so during the day it was loud. Also, we had an issue with the air conditioning unit, it was loud and too noisy to get a good nights sleep. We had to turn it off (because there was no other option)which made for a warmer environment which was not ideal. Staff were awesome and they provided us with a map and great options for visiting places and dining.
