EJ Bowman House Bed & Breakfast

I was only in for one night, sadly. The owner met me when I arrived and immediately wanted to know what I wanted for breakfast and when I told him that I would be gone before breakfast time, he seemed genuinely disappointed. He offered pastries for me to take in the morning and when I told him I have a gluten allergy he offered homemade chocolate chip cookies that he made gluten free. I accepted and when he came back with them, he also brought back a slice of almond cake that I could eat too! He took the time to show me around and tell me a little about the history of the house, despite me checking in after 10pm. I was shown hospitality when I really needed it after a long travel day (with flight delays) from the west coast. Thank you! Keep making people feel valued and important. Cheers!

It was a wonderful stay from start to finish. Diane and Scott are welcoming and answered questions of what to see, do, and where to eat. The house is beautiful and very comfortable, and the breakfasts are fantastic, delicious and creative! The location is convenient and very easy to get in, out, and around. There will definitely be a repeat visit!

Absolutely beautiful inn with gorgeous holiday decor. We loved the gourmet breakfast, comfortable room with heated bathroom floor, and the extras such as free cookies, chips, sodas and a latte maker in the kitchen area. The innkeepers were friendly, warm, and welcoming!

Everything about my visit was perfect, and the real bonus was meeting and talking to the wonderful owners. I am looking forward to staying at the beautiful B & B the next time I'm in Lancaster, PA!

The couple who run the inn were lovely! They made a 5-star homemade breakfast every morning and kept the house very clean and comfortable. The house is located between Lancaster City and Lititz so the location was perfect. Would definitely stay here again!
