Absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful resort. Stunning views from our balcony, great loungers and cabanas on beach, nice pool, marina for boat rentals, great service and staff, and world class restaurant. We really believe our last eve at Filo was the best meal of our lives. And there are quite a few Michelin restaurants in that pool. Filo definitely deserves a Michelin star and James Beard nomination.

First, the staff here is excellent. No request is too small and they are truly keen on making their guests feel welcomed. The property is immaculate, as are the rooms, and housekeeping does an excellent job as well. Breakfast staff were equally pleasant and efficient. Enjoyed the pool area and swimming in the Lake, especially after a day in the summer heat. Views are spectacular. A true welcome respite after visiting the busy towns along the Lake.

Pure magic! We loved the property so much that it was hard to leave to explore Lake Como. Amazing beach bar and cabanas with excellent service. Complimentary kayak and paddleboatds. The front desk was beyond helpful and so patient going out of their way to make sure we had an unforgettable stay. We’ll be back. Also should note buses in the area don’t run on time and a car rental would be challenging with the super narrow windy streets.

The staff was amazing from the entrance entrance. The parking area was amazing. They have bikes on loan that were amazing. The room was excellent. The food here is great, the dinner is a little bit bit on the high inside not the greatest for family. But the location of this hotel is amazing. I was able to park my car and drive almost everywhere. The lakefront are awesome. The lakefront snack bars awesome. The pool is great. I would 100% stay here again, I have nothing bad to say about this place. Just excellent .

L’arrivée dans la chambre avec cette magnifique vue sur le lac et sur les montagnes, a donné le « la » au séjour. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, après les visites, il était tellement agréable de pouvoir profiter de la piscine à débordement vue lac et cerise sur le gâteau, une petite plage de cailloux/galets vous attend en contrebas. Il Paraît que c’est le seul hôtel au bord du lac, qui possède une plage. Le Personnel est très gentil et très efficace. Mention spéciale au restaurant gastronomique !! This hotel was absolutely beautiful. We opted for the 1bedroom Apt lake view. It was absolutely stunning. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful from check in to checkout. Very accommodating - they provided a WhatsApp number for any thing needed, questions etc. with quick responses. The beach front area had cabanas, a bar, loungers. They also provided paddle boards. Would definitely rebook here again for future travels.

Luxury hotel with great views and access to lake Como. Our room was really spacious with a great view. The shore area offered a great way to reach the water and breakfast was delicious. Service was also very good. Thing that could be improved: beach area seemed to open late and at different times each day (11:15/12:30pm). Also limited food options during the stay - either very fine dining in restaurant at night or pizza (only) at the beach bar. A broader menu for dinner would’ve been welcomed.

Beautiful lakeside hotel with infinity pool and 2 bedroom residences with beach access. The hotel has its own pier so you can get a water taxi to the door. The local ferry stop is a ten-minute walk away. The lakeside beach bar serves cocktails & amazing fresh stone-baked pizzas and salads. Downsides: The only breakfast option is a 25-euro PP breakfast. The beach bar doesn't open until 12pm but it would be great if it could open in the morning for coffee and lighter options. A couple of the older staff were not very hospitable but all the younger team were great

View is fabulous. Hospitality is contrary. For 700€ per night, service was mediocre other than politeness. Facilities are nice but the managing team doesn’t seem competent or care beyond the surface level. Communication is poor — You have to reiterate many times. During our stay at 8pm, housekeeping broke into our room without knocking. We were startled since we just came out of the shower positively undressed in the bedroom. I went outside and found the staff looking individual when she ran away with haste while saying sorry. We called reception and ask if the room is safe, the male receptionist politely but dismissively assured us and promised to check on the door. Later we called again and went to the desk where staff members confirmed the intrusion to be caused by a housekeeper and merely replied with“sorry for the inconvenience”. We stressed many times that we were startled and this has affected the stay & that such mistake isn’t tolerable. They asked to trust them moving forward to handle with discretion. No actual apologies were given from the housekeeper responsible, it was only relayed to us by the staff. There was no effort or thought by the hotel to offer remediation or even just gesture of it would’ve been better. The entire experience is insincere and poorly handled. Communication is tedious since the desk is not exactly well versed in English beyond rulebook. It does seem to us quite condescending when they soft demanded us to make peace. Disappointing.

Amazing restaurant, very clean and good value considering other options in the area. The staff seemed a bit standoff-ish, the reception staff were overly professional. This is a beautiful modern hotel. Everything was very clean and new. The staff are very helpful and happy to make restaurant suggestions, give directions, and make reservations for you. The on-site restaurant is wonderful, delicious, and the staff are great. We will happily stay here again on our next trip to Lake Como.

The hotel was nice, new and modern. Service was exceptional. The shower was not very good - water temperature was like warm and the shower head was horrible. The restaurant and bar service were exceptional. The biggest issue is getting to Bellagio which is only 8KM/5 miles away was very expensive. Impossible to catch the bus.

Nice hotel with amazing views. Very good restaurant and amazing service. Room had a private balcony with wonderful views, which was perfect! (Bathroom lighting is very dim, hard to see anything.) Note: Nothing much around, with only two other restaurants within walking distance, and since there are no sidewalks, you much walk along street, which feels very dangerous. But it is what everyone does, so one just does it. (Not hotel's fault) Local bus was very easy to use to get to other locations.

The hotel is really modern and the rooms are spacious and the views are stunning. We loved dining there at the Michelin nominee restaurant. The staff was lovely and so very polite. The facilities are luxurious and beautiful, and it is 10 min walk away from the ferry to Bellagio or any other town

Filario is a beautiful and exquisite hotel. The staff are welcoming and beyond helpful when needing recommendations and travel arrangements. The deluxe room is one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed at. The views of Lake Como from our balcony were breathtaking. The shower is a 5-star experience. The only negative was the menu options (lunch and dinner are the same) at Ristorante Filo. Very small portions and no true Italian dishes in my opinion. The staff, waiters and waitresses, were amazing, though! The limited menu may have been because we checked-in opening day. Not sure. Overall, lovely experience and we would go back.

Staff told us we could have a taxi back from Bellagio, just give them a call. Then when we rang they said it was too late, we then had to walk over 8km back to the hotel along dark winding roads. They also made us park the car in a car park which they failed to mention was chargeable. Upon checking out we were billed twice and for more nights than we had used the car park for.

First, the staff here is excellent. No request is too small and they are truly keen on making their guests feel welcomed. The property is immaculate, as are the rooms, and housekeeping does an excellent job as well. Breakfast staff were equally pleasant and efficient. Enjoyed the pool area and swimming in the Lake, especially after a day in the summer heat. Views are spectacular. A true welcome respite after visiting the busy towns along the Lake.

Pure magic! We loved the property so much that it was hard to leave to explore Lake Como. Amazing beach bar and cabanas with excellent service. Complimentary kayak and paddleboatds. The front desk was beyond helpful and so patient going out of their way to make sure we had an unforgettable stay. We’ll be back. Also should note buses in the area don’t run on time and a car rental would be challenging with the super narrow windy streets.

View is fabulous. Hospitality is contrary. For 700€ per night, service was mediocre other than politeness. Facilities are nice but the managing team doesn’t seem competent or care beyond the surface level. Communication is poor — You have to reiterate many times. During our stay at 8pm, housekeeping broke into our room without knocking. We were startled since we just came out of the shower positively undressed in the bedroom. I went outside and found the staff looking individual when she ran away with haste while saying sorry. We called reception and ask if the room is safe, the male receptionist politely but dismissively assured us and promised to check on the door. Later we called again and went to the desk where staff members confirmed the intrusion to be caused by a housekeeper and merely replied with“sorry for the inconvenience”. We stressed many times that we were startled and this has affected the stay & that such mistake isn’t tolerable. They asked to trust them moving forward to handle with discretion. No actual apologies were given from the housekeeper responsible, it was only relayed to us by the staff. There was no effort or thought by the hotel to offer remediation or even just gesture of it would’ve been better. The entire experience is insincere and poorly handled. Communication is tedious since the desk is not exactly well versed in English beyond rulebook. It does seem to us quite condescending when they soft demanded us to make peace. Disappointing.

Stayed two nights here with my husband for our honeymoon and we will definitely be back. It was a beautiful property, amazing and thoughtful staff, and the ferry was a 10 min walk from the hotel. They left a bottle of prosecco in our room for our honeymoon and go above and beyond to help their guests. They booked us a boat tour the day we checked in as soon as I asked about it. They also booked a driver to take us back to the train station during checkout. The restaurant in the hotel was delicious. It is considered fine dining therefore the portions and cost are what you would normally find at any fine dining restaurant. Breakfast was included in our stay and they had great options. Overall we loved it. The view and balcony was the reason why I booked this room and it was beyond worth it. Definitely recommend!

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. We opted for the 1bedroom Apt lake view. It was absolutely stunning. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful from check in to checkout. Very accommodating - they provided a WhatsApp number for any thing needed, questions etc. with quick responses. The beach front area had cabanas, a bar, loungers. They also provided paddle boards. Would definitely rebook here again for future travels.

Had a great experience at Filario. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and polite. Alessia at the front desk was very helpful as we were able to communicate via WhatsApp and she assisted with different requests. The GM was also very friendly and she made us feel welcome. The restaurant had a very good breakfast. The dinner however was exceptional - one of the best I’ve ever had in Europe. And finally a department that rarely gets acknowledged - Housekeeping. They were fantastic and accommodated our room perfectly to our liking especially with the minor details. Overall the Filario exceeded our expectations and we look forward to going back soon. I miss the incredible view from my balcony !

My wife and I enjoyed staying at this hotel. The views were great! Just a tip...you need to reserve restaurant dinners several days in advance as they fill up quickly for local restaurants in the immediate area. The location of this hotel is not far from Bellagio but the ferry to Lezzeno ends earlier than other ferries so you need to plan accordingly or drive to Bellagio.

The hotel was nice, new and modern. Service was exceptional. The shower was not very good - water temperature was like warm and the shower head was horrible. The restaurant and bar service were exceptional. The biggest issue is getting to Bellagio which is only 8KM/5 miles away was very expensive. Impossible to catch the bus.

Nice breakfast buffet which was included in our stay. The dinner menu was somewhat limited and price; advertised as “fine dining”. There were a few reasonable and good restaurants within walking distance, but it’s very tricky and potentially dangerous walking along the narrow road with no sidewalks. Staff was outstanding and helpful in every way. We used the ferry to get around the lake, with the dock about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Loved the hotel and location!

The hotel is located in the most beautiful, quaint position in Lezzono. It’s really easy to visit the other other areas in Lake Como via Ferry, the staff at the hotel will also assist with any private transfers and/or speed boat tours. I can’t wait to go back soon !

Beautiful, elegant hotel. Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely and relaxing beach and pool area. Beautiful view from our balcony overlooking the lake. Only downside was it was a bit of a walk to the bus station (especially in the summer heat) and takes a while to get to Bellagio via bus. Fast ferry was not running as usual so it was a bit challenging to conveniently get around to the towns we wanted to visit. If you are looking for a sophisticated, beautiful, peaceful retreat you will adore this hotel.

Stunning views from our balcony, great loungers and cabanas on beach, nice pool, marina for boat rentals, great service and staff, and world class restaurant. We really believe our last eve at Filo was the best meal of our lives. And there are quite a few Michelin restaurants in that pool. Filo definitely deserves a Michelin star and James Beard nomination.

Absolutely stunning views from your private balcony! This was the reason we booked here and it did not disappoint. A few restaurants within walking distance but on a very busy street not the best for walking with traffic. We did not care for the hotel restaurants menu so we did not eat there unfortunately. Helvetia a few doors down for greasy pizza and aurora restaurant for lunch and dinner were great choices with beautiful views about 7 minute walk down the road.

La oferta es engañosa, tienen un hotel y unos apartamentos, reserve viendo fotos del hotel de lujo, y mi cuarto fue un apartamento austero. Moverse a bellagio o como es muy complicado, deberian de ofrecer servicio de transporte incluido en el hotel. Un taxi costo 140 euros. Me intoxique en el restaurante de lujo con un tartar de res. Por 500 euros la noche es un engaño

Service was also very good. Thing that could be improved: beach area seemed to open late and at different times each day (11:15/12:30pm). Also limited food options during the stay - either very fine dining in restaurant at night or pizza (only) at the beach bar. A broader menu for dinner would’ve been welcomed.

Had a wonderful 4 nights at Filario in Sept 2024. It is in a nice quiet part of the lake yet Bellagio and other cities are accessible by bus and ferry (the bus can be crowded and is often late but worked perfectly fine the one day we went there). There are tons of amenities at the hotel so other than one day exploring Bellagio and Varenna, we mostly stuck around the hotel, renting a boat, borrowing the hotel’s tandem kayak, and relaxing by the beach bar (which also serves great pizzas). We stayed in the lake view superior room which was very stylish and comfortable. The staff are fantastic. The concierge staff was able to help coordinate activities and private cars/taxis via phone and WhatsApp. Breakfast at the Filo restaurant each morning was also a highlight. It was included and delicious with eggs, sausage, yogurt, fruit, great pastries, and other options. We had dinner at Filo one night and in other Lezzeno restaurants the other nights (except Varenna one night). All were great.

Beautiful lakeside hotel with infinity pool and 2 bedroom residences with beach access. The hotel has its own pier so you can get a water taxi to the door. The local ferry stop is a ten-minute walk away. The lakeside beach bar serves cocktails & amazing fresh stone-baked pizzas and salads. Downsides: The only breakfast option is a 25-euro PP breakfast. The beach bar doesn't open until 12pm but it would be great if it could open in the morning for coffee and lighter options. A couple of the older staff were not very hospitable but all the younger team were great

The hotel offers exceptional hospitality—staff were warm, welcoming, and professional throughout our stay. The food overall was truly amazing, and the atmosphere was lovely. However, I was surprised to find that even though breakfast was included in our reservation, we had to pay an extra €8 just to have eggs. On top of that, €35 for a single pizza is excessive by any standard. While the hotel is nice and comfortable, it simply doesn’t justify the high prices. You’re not getting the value you’d expect for what you’re paying.

Filario is a beautiful and exquisite hotel. The staff are welcoming and beyond helpful when needing recommendations and travel arrangements. The deluxe room is one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed at. The views of Lake Como from our balcony were breathtaking. The shower is a 5-star experience. The only negative was the menu options (lunch and dinner are the same) at Ristorante Filo. Very small portions and no true Italian dishes in my opinion. The staff, waiters and waitresses, were amazing, though! The limited menu may have been because we checked-in opening day. Not sure. Overall, lovely experience and we would go back.

Truly a lovely resort, nestled right on the coast with magnificent views and a very helpful staff. Food and amenities were great and nice access to the lake and activities! Very much recommend!

Nice room and view, which you would expect for the cost. However this is far from being a 5-star hotel. Attitude of the some of the staff is so poor (breakfast staff, front desk staff). Also watch out for hidden costs (parking is not free - €25 per day), check if your rate includes breakfast (otherwise it’s also €25 per person per day), and the beach/snack bar is chargeable too - so, again, despite the heavy cost this is not an all-inclusive experience and you are basically invisible to staff once you’ve checked in. Be warned - this hotel wants your cash and then they’re off!!

The hotel es spectacular. The staff was the most helpful when arranging a boat to come pick us up at the hotel dock. Views are incredible and the restaurant is fenomenal as well. Definitely recommend
