TAV Airport Hotel Izmir

Todo correcto, limpio y funcional. Un poco caro, pero muy cómodo por su localización dentro del aeropuerto. En contra sólo decir que el desayuno no era gran cosa y no me gustó que la nevera de las habitaciones no funcionaran.

Nice room but no fitness room and had to get food from inside airport terminal.

It’s right in the terminal. The room was new, with excellent amenities, and great plumbing. I loved the HUGE breakfast! The hotel is in the domestic area of the terminal. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, but there are plenty of restaurants in the terminal.

Tav airport hotel had no real shops in the airport, going outside for food to the mall took 15 minutes via train. This was due to the airport comming under new management. Stayed for 9 days, very inconvenient that the fridge in any of the rooms did not work. Staff offered to have food refrigerated in the lobby but that was inconvenient as i had paid for a long term stay in delux room. Staff were friendly.

No restaurant. No one at the bar area to get a drink

5 mins walk to flight check in was perfect. Minimal dinner options currently, Burger King a restaurant and a cafe. Presume as the airport grows (seems to have been built with this in mind) there may be more. Room small but I didn't needed amything bigger for this purpose.

The hotel is inside the airport so it noisy but that would be acceptable as it is a busy place. But there were no proper place to eat. Disappointed

翌日、朝のフライトがあるので、泊まりました。 まず、入口が分からない。国内線の3階フロアーの国際線側に入口があります。 空港セキュリティの人に聞いて、ようやく分かりました。 部屋は普通ですが、中央管理なので、室温の調整がうまくできません。 さらに、ミニバーのメニューはあるのに、肝心のミニバーなる冷蔵庫はありません。 スタッフは親切ですが、翌日のフライトが早い、夜遅いフライトで到着する、などの理由がなければ、特に選ぶ理由が見あたりません。 食事は、空港内のレストランを利用できるので、値段さえ気にしなければ、問題ありません。

We entered the hotel through unexpected security that was ok. But no dinner being served so we were stuck! They really should serve dinner it’s an hotel after all. Also our room smelled of smoke constantly. One of us coughed all night. Constant noise all night. Would not stay there again and would not recommend it. Expensive and not value for money.

Zimmer war schon abgerockt. Schimmel in der Dusche. Klopapierhalter abgerissen. Schreibtischlampe defekt (Wackelkontakt am Schalter). Fensterrollos ließen sich nur zur Hälfte öffnen. Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

This hotel is inside the airport, difficult to find from outside terminal . The room was like a dormitory room , very small . Received no VIP benefits. The bed linen and comforter looked liked it hadn’t been washed or changed in a week . Pretty sure the beds had bed bugs , I scratched all night . At check in I was not given any Wi Fi info , I asked for a wake up call which I never got . Very old hotel which needs severe upgrading and certainly way over priced .

Hotel located in the airport terminal, walking distance from arrival hall. Room is very clean, breakfast is also very good.

Spacious and clean room on the 2nd floor. Very large comfortable bed and a good power shower. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Offered a complimentary breakfast, not taken as we had a very early morning flight and then offered a lunch box instead. Appreciated the help of the porter with handling and delivering our 2 suitcases to our room. Always stay here before flights to Europe.

The main point to book this hotel is that it is almost within the international terminal of Izmir Airport. It is good you com elate and go early as the rooms do have not any window. So it is more a cell feeling than a hotel room experience. Check-In was fast and as per expectation. The rooms have a lack of renovation but are still okay for a one night stand.

I'd give this hotel 5 stars except the room smelled of cigarette smoke, pretty bad. But right in the airport, great breakfast, comfortable room.

AC did not cool the room. Very warm due to afternoon sun.

This hotel is clean, modern and has good size rooms. The big plus is the buffet breakfast made by chefs dressed in white. Probably the best breakfast we have had in Turkey. But there is a problem: the two rooms that we had (we tried two) were ridiculously hot - far too hot for sleeping. It was February. The aircon was set at 25.5 degrees (!) and reception said that it couldn't be changed because it is centrally controlled (maybe by the airport). We opted to switch off the aircon altogether - but it was still too warm. And it meant that there was no air circulation which was just as bad. So we had a pretty terrible night's sleep. We nearly checked out! It's a pity because this hotel has so much going for it. It is literally in the airport (both domestic and international) and has its own security gate. Just needs to fix the climate control issue.

Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this airport hotel, which is pretty decent! The staff are always friendly and helpful. Check in was smooth. They were kind to upgrade my room at no cost along with a complimentary breakfast. The room was clean and quiet. Comfortable bed with nice soft pillows. The bathroom was also spotless. They’ve improved the breakfast area since the last time I stayed. The only thing I would flag for those taking work calls is that wifi connection was a little patchy but works absolutely fine on phones etc., unless you are on a work call on Teams. Otherwise, everything was great!

I had a lovely warm welcome from the team at Tav who remembered me from previous stays, gave me a very comfortable room and helped with baggage. The room is clean and considering you are in the centre of the terminals, extremely quiet. Will definitely return, so convenient for an early morning flight.

It was a great experience from check in to check out. My only negative comment is about the level of noise from the adjacent rooms . Rooms are not well insulated and you can hear everything.

The A/C didn’t work. Tried two rooms. 25*C was the temperature all night.

Yasin is absolutely amazing! He is super helpful and goes above and beyond. Honestly, he is the best part of the hotel - a total asset!

Es war ein Hotel, in dem ich ungefähr alle zwei Monate aus beruflichen Gründen übernachte. Bei meiner letzten Reservierung hatte ich kein Frühstück gebucht. Als wir jedoch beim Check-in an der Rezeption waren, teilte uns der Mitarbeiter höflich mit, dass unser Frühstück nicht inbegriffen sei, aber dass das Hotel es uns als Geschenk anbietet. Ich bedankte mich dafür. Am nächsten Morgen, als wir in den Frühstücksraum gingen, fragte ein anderer Mitarbeiter nach unserer Zimmernummer und sagte, dass unser Frühstück nicht inkludiert sei. Daraufhin erklärte ich ihm die Situation. Doch anscheinend war er nicht überzeugt, denn er wollte wissen, wer uns diese Information gegeben hatte. Ich antwortete, dass sie das, falls es für sie so wichtig sei, auch anhand der Sicherheitsaufnahmen vom Vorabend überprüfen könnten. Das Schlimmste an der Situation war jedoch, dass meine 85-jährige Mutter bei mir war. Sie hat in beiden Beinen Prothesen und hat große Schwierigkeiten beim Gehen. Eine Person mit solchen Einschränkungen völlig umsonst vom dritten Stock ins Restaurant und dann wieder zurück ins Zimmer zu schicken, hat mich wirklich verärgert. Die Aussage des Rezeptionisten „Es ist nicht im System vermerkt“ ist letztendlich das Eingeständnis, dass sie ein schlechtes Arbeits- und Buchungssystem haben.

I had a disappointing experience at Tav Izmir Airport Hotel due to the poor customer service from front desk agent Nilay Kalis. Given the hotel’s location at an international airport, I expected professionalism and basic hospitality, but unfortunately, that was not the case. My wife, who doesn’t speak Turkish, called the front desk to ask if the hotel had a US plug adapter. She asked politely in English, but Ms. Kalis immediately and dismissively responded, “No.” It was clear she either didn’t understand or wasn’t willing to assist. To clarify, I called the front desk myself. Ms. Kalis answered again, but this time, instead of outright refusing, she told me to “come downstairs and pick whichever works for me.” This response was unprofessional and lacked basic courtesy. After a long journey, we were exhausted, so I kindly asked if someone could bring the adapter to our room. She refused and insisted we come down to retrieve it. This lack of hospitality and unwillingness to accommodate guests’ needs was unacceptable. Front desk employees are the face of a hotel, and their attitude greatly impacts the guest experience. Unfortunately, Ms. Kalis’s dismissive and unhelpful demeanor reflected poorly on the hotel. I hope management takes action to improve service standards. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially to international travelers expecting basic courtesy and assistance.

Staff were excellent really helpful and friendly, main options for food were in terminal building it seemed. Bed was super comfortable- we had booked room only but they gave us complimentary breakfast which was appreciated

Super nice staff. Tv in my room did not show all the channels, someone arrived immediately to fix it. They offered to move me to another room. Very accommodating. Two minutes from the airline checkin. Very convenient for odd hour flights. Impressive breakfast buffet. Friendly staff at every corner.

The Front Desk, bellboy and Housekeeping staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. I will definitely be coming back.

We arrived late, no restaurant, some snacks at the airport terminal but incredible expensive and not really good! Check-in was unfriendly at hotel.

In der Nähe war das große Einkaufszentrum „Optimum“, die man mit der S-Bahn (Izban) schnell und günstig erreichen konnte Die Unterkunft ist direkt im Flughafen integriert, wir mussten nur mit den Koffern mit dem Aufzug zum Check-in hochfahren

It was a nice stay. Good location right at the airport.

We stayed there because of an early morning flight. The hotel is good and conveniently located just inside of terminal. Its staff is very friendly. All is good. However, finding it after dropping off our rental car is a bit of pain. The airport should improve signage to direct the way. The hotel is actually located inside of domestic terminal at departure level on the side closer to international terminal.

Perfect location in airport just steps away from international and domestic departures. Very quiet. Excellent buffet breakfast.

This is the perfect airport hotel situated in Izmir airport terminal a short walk under cover to both domestic and international terminals. The breakfast which has recently been upgraded is superb.

Breakfast was very good, with good options of good quality food with the exception of menemen--that was so bad that I could not have more than a spoonful, and sadly had to leave the rest. Otherwise, excellent service and very attentive staff. Definitely will return again and again. Thank you!

In the airport so extremely convenient for an early morning flight. Room was small but comfortable with everything you need. Wish they’d offered breakfast earlier (doesn’t start til 7).
