Loews is in a great location near the river walk. The room was clean; the bathroom was big and had good space for four people; however, we requested a room with a view (which I would've paid extra for and ended up looking at a street. The staff was friendly and helpful, but hotel does have some opportunities. The cafe that has snacks, random amenities and coffee closes at noon every day, so you lose access to those items. The restaurant food was good but getting breakfast seating was tough. Recommend reservations or room service. Lastly, we valet parked for convenience. I'm all for tipping but when we came down, we tipped the guy who handed us the keys, and then another guy took the bags out and loaded the car instead of it being the same guy so had to tip him too. It felt like a way to pull another tip. Overall, great staff, pretty hotel, great location and nice rooms.
