Honestly I expected more from this hotel given its boutique hotel award wins. We were initially checked into a room with damp walls and a dirty bed frame. I asked if there were any other rooms available and they quickly responded and put me in the room next door which was much better, I just found it odd they chose to put us in the horrible room first as it clearly needed a lot of maintenance. The hotel itself I found was in need of some TLC. I’ve stayed in a lot of boutique hotels and there’s a difference between boutique and just old and needs some work doing. We booked this as we had a stop in Manilla and thought we’d make use of the pool… but I wouldn’t even step foot in it. It was full of leaves and right by the turning circle. It looked dirty and was next to the garden area (mostly fake grass lumped ontop of real grass). I was really disappointed as was looking forward to a dip and relax but it’s not somewhere you’d enjoying sitting by. They also left out what looked like complimentary biscuits which I was then charged for. The breakfast was ok and the staff were helpful but I think this hotel needs a good bit of TLC. The bones are there it’s a lovely building but I wouldn’t recommend it to my friends or family.

Una dimora storica immersa nel verde con alcune interessanti sculture e due gallerie d arte nel complesso. L albergo è una struttura antica molto bella vicina al mall of Asia. Vicino alla aeroposto ma in una zona povera e con pochissimi servizi ( il mall è comunque a 15 minuti a piedi). La piscina non è granché. A me è piaciuta la struttura perche antica e ben preservata ed il fatto che in giardino ci fossero alcune sculture e un interessante galleria d arte. Buono il cibo al ristorante dell albergo
