We spent two nights in the Dosso Dossi Downtown and spa hotel at the end of an 8 week trip. This was our 16 th hotel that trip. Location was okay, about a half hour walk to the Grand Bazaar. There's a metro station nearby too. Some excellent art works in the foyer. Room and bathroom a good size. Comfortable and clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay. One thing we were really disappointed with was the policy of expecting everyone to wear a swim cap in the pool. We didn't have any, have never worn them, so wwe were excluded from using the pool. Very very disappointed as we had chosen a hotel with a pool deliberately. We were told we could buy a cap from them, at 450 try each(£15!) Not worth it for two nights. Anyway I consider it so insulting to be asked to wear one. My husband is hairy all over, should he wear a bodysuit?

Have previouly stayed in a few different 5* hotels in Istanbul however, what sets Dosso Dossi downtown apart has to be its cleanliness and amazing gym and SPA facilities. Additionally the members of staff are very polite and helpful. Definitely a hotel worth considering if you are staying in the area!

Das Hotel war sehr schön, Zimmer super, Bett gemütlich. Frühstück viel Auswahl, richtig leckere Sachen. Personal super freundlich. Der einzige Minuspunkt der Spa Bereich, der Pool kalt und die Liegen alt und voll Stockflecken. Leider schade denn auf den Pool haben wir am meisten gefreut. Aber ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. War ein schöner Aufenthalt.

La propreté des chambres laisse à désirer! Le ménage des chambre est fait à la va vite et en surface, le sol n’a pas été lavé de tout le séjour. Le jacuzzi était froid malgré plusieurs demandes pour régler le problème.

El personal es encantador educados y atentos por otro lado las mujeres que limpian las habitaciones no hacen una buena limpieza . El jacuzzi del hotel no funciona y no puedes usar la piscina si no tienes gorro de nadador el cual ellos te venden . Tiene una muy buena ubicación y sus empelados son muy gentiles su bufé del desayuno es muy bueno pero el restaurante es excesivo en sus precios si quieres almorzar con ellos .

Loved the service and aesthetic of the hotel! Has a Starbucks and food options within the hotel vicinity. The gym is nice. The hot tub was like warm which would be the only thing we wished was different! Would stay here again!

There was black mold in the bathroom shower, . One night after dinner the bartender and a waiter came knocking at our door, supposedly with a fruit platter for us. We were already in bed and they came into the room to deliver the so-called fruit platter. We felt very unsafe. When checking out of the hotel the guy at front desk

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The property is extremely dated, and despite booking because it was advertised as clean, it was far from it. My room had stains on the furniture, including the suede headboard, which also had other people’s hair stuck to it. I had to use a lint roller to remove some of it. The bed was uncomfortable, and the linens were old, rough, and unpleasant to sleep on—I've stayed at 3-star hotels that were far superior. The hot tub area was poorly maintained, with broken, wood-like paneling around it that smelled terrible, making it unusable. To make matters worse, the staff was dismissive and disrespectful, particularly toward me as a woman. They repeatedly ignored my requests and would only respond when my boyfriend intervened, which was incredibly frustrating and demeaning. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I will not be staying here again. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

The hotel was nice, the breakfast was great. The bathrooms were not of a 5 star hotel. They have not been cleaned properly so there was fungus in the shower screen. The shower screen door was not fitted well so the shower water came out every time and made a mess. Sink was blocked and we had to call service to fix it. The most negative for me was there are smart tvs in the rooms but can’t use them as they can’t connect to the internet’s. The most positive was the staff. They are friendly and very helpful. I will like to thank Mert in particular. Every staff member we came across spoke English and was very courteous. That makes your stay very pleasant. If we ever stay in Faith again we will stay here.

The room given was not what I paid for. They joined the 2 single beds together with out and mattress topper. The switch by the bedside was not even working, The LED light above the bed was broken. The bathroom had mould on in it and was leaking. The shower head was not working properly. They changed the room next day. They gave a us a room with a double bed instead of KING size bed and very small room. I paid for a standard KING bed room. I complained about this but it was to deaf ears. I would not rate this Hotel as a 5 star Hotel. The dining area is like you are in 3 star hotel. The breakfast does not have a lot of options as a 5star hotel. Some of the staff do not have any customer service.

The hotel has deteriorated, water in the shower comes cold and hot while taking shower The receptionists are very kind, welcoming and helpful, however the lady who is responsible for guest relations and helping in tours was not helpful Room service is poor, they forgot to clean our room one day The worst is the WIFI service, it keep disconnecting snd login is tedious The bed mattresses are caving The hotel is still a good choice but it needs major upgrades and improvements

This property is walking distance to Alfatih mosque, we enjoyed walking there. The condition of the bed was horrible, the sound of the tiny fridge was so loud we couldn’t sleep the first night we had to move to another room. The breakfast buffet was okay. I will not book this place again.

Food was okay except for overcooked eggs and omelette which were made to order. The room was way too dark as if it was meant to just sleep. Wifi password needed to be updated quite often and daily even if we stayed >1 week. There was no option for just entering a Wifi password just once.

Definitely not 5 stars, the $100 holding fee was not mentioned at the time of booking, was given a room by the noisy lifts with drainage smells, connecting door to occupied room next door and views of a backstreet when booked otherwise. Was given another room with a huff and it was not up to 5* standard they claim. Charge €2 if you lose your room card which never happens in any hotel, chain or not. Staff glued to their phones and avoided contact with guests unless forced to deal with at reception. Breakfast is diabolical, basement room with the most basic offerings, staff left the place a mess and only picked up dirty plates when the boss came in on our last day. Oh and a mouse running around the room floor and cleaners were too scared so ran off. As someone who stays in hotels twice a week around the world I do not recommend this establishment unless you want something extremely basic and happy to deal with noise and not up to standard rooms. Pictures were taken of obvious things not hidden/atypical.

The room was decent. The noise insulation was not that good. We could hear the vehicle noise, it was hard to sleep at first. I recommend to get the back street side rooms. Breakfast food was delicious. They didnt have rice but the staffs prepared for us. Staffs were friendly, also Mr Omer was professional. Hotel location is near subway. I would say the price is a bit pricey but overall I recommend this hotel

poor customer service, noisy airconditing unit kept us up all night, noise from outside due to no sound proofing on the windows, booked a twin room with 2x double beds with city view and asked if they could be joined or they could change it to a single king size bed but upon arrival got checked into a different room (much smaller room) with one single double bed and a shocking view of the opposite building on the alley way which was littery 5 meters away. upon calling the staff at the front desk i was told that this is the room i had booked and they had sold out on the double rooms. once i requested to speak to the manager it was then that i was moved to a different room, still smaller than what i had booked with a queen size bed but the view was of the front road wich was better. room was very noisy from both outside noise and in-room services noise such as aircon and toilet flushing from other rooms. breakfast was decent but staff looked looked unhappy as they were constantly getting told off by the restaurant manager infront of the guests. Also couldnt use the pool or spa as they told us we need to have swimming caps (who packs swimming caps when they go to a hotel!) overall rating will be poor as we did not enjoy our stay at all from the start.

After I made my reservation and received confirmation, I sent a message to hotel team via Expedia to ask if they can help me with shuttle service. I didn’t get any response from them that I had to book the car service by myself. When we arrived, the receptionist lady was not so much welcoming. However, next day, the receptionist guy in the morning shift was very helpful and he gave us some advice on tourist destinations. I believe if we ask them in person with shuttle service from hotel to airport, they would definitely help us. It’s just I didn’t hear from them before coming to the hotel, when I needed airport to hotel pick up service, I made online round trip booking already. Also, when we arrived the room, it wasn’t as in the pictures in Expedia. The room furniture looked little old. We didn’t have bath robs in our room from the beginning, but when we requested them , we received upon request. The only thing I like about the hotel was housekeeping service that cleaned our room every day. And anytime we asked any additional staff like iron or slippers they were very quick and delivered to our room. The daily breakfast was also delicious and on time The guy in the gym/ spa reception was also very friendly and helpful. Also, the day of the check out, the receptionist was very helpful and he helped us to weight our luggage , so we can make sure that we don’t have overweight suitcases. In general, our stay was okay. I just thought it would be 5 star hotel service.

I booked two rooms for our family. The first was very small and not the 25m2 advertised. The bed was right next to the corridor. The second was supposed to be twin but gave us a double. Next day we changed rooms and they charged me 40 euros per night rather than 30 euros for an extra bed for my daughter. Spa and swimming was good but mixed for men and women. I had to request a change of sheets and room clean as the bedsheets were not changed. Breakfast was good. Reception staff were the worst. Very unhelpful and with an attitude. The cherry on the cake was the return and accountability of room keys at check out. I have stayed before and so chose this hotel. I will not be returning.

This is my second stay at this hotel, last time I stayed at this beautiful, elegant hotel back in 2016 and fell in love with the location. This time around, I had a great stay! The beautiful entry and romantic lighting created a welcoming ambiance. Smooth check-in with no issues and staff were professional, attentive and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was top notch. Overall, I had a great stay of 5 nights at this hotel and will be coming back again. At last, Istanbul never sleeps and I love the city of Istanbul.

Overall experience was cheerful, clean, breakfast was good enough. Only 5 min walk from the nearest "Emniyet-fatih" metro station & 5 stops away from the "Otogar coach" station (where you can take the Havaist aiport bus to the IST airport (which is an hour or so depending on the traffic). There is a Carrefour & also a SOK supermarkes nearby where you can do resupply One of the windows could not be closed but I didn't bother to complain at that time. Pls check. The water pressure could be a little higher.

Wir haben uns den Aufenthalt ganz ander vorgestellt. Das Hotel ist direkt an einer Schnellstraße gelegen. Am Abend haben wir uns in der Gegend unsicher gefühlt. Kein Türkei feeling. Sehr viele Flüchtlinge. Am Spielplatz wilde Kinder die auf unser Kind mit Spielzeugwaffen geschossen haben. Um die Straße zu überqueren war es schon eine Riesen Herausforderung. Ständig Hupende und schnell, verrückt fahrende Autos. Nichts für ein Aufenthalt mit Kind! Wir haben das Hotel vorzeitig verlassen ! Geplant waren 4 Nächte, nach 2 hat es uns gereicht. Seitens Hotel keine Kulanz!!! Was sehr traurig ist! Wir mussten alle Nächte trotzdem bezahlen obwohl wir den Sachverhalt geschildert haben! Plötzlich war der Mann namens Ramadan an der Rezeption nicht mehr freundlich wie am Anfang! Also Freundlichkeit wird vorgespielt. Nie wieder Dosso Dossi.
