The property was in pristine condition, I liked my overall stay, the first day was specifically problematic as neighboring room was noisy but Hyatt staff was prompt in allocating us a different room. The staff was extremely courteous and made sure to accommodate all requests. Check-in and check-out process was smooth. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional fitness center which had all necessary equipment. It was well maintained and machines were in excellent condition. The Personal trainer Mr. Pal was very humble and kind. He has impeccable training knowledge which helped me with my weight training during my stay. Overall this property was 10 on 10 for me and I won't look for anything else for my next stay in Ahmedabad.

I always stay at the Hyatt Residency in Ahmedbad as the service is great. The staff are very helpful and polite. The spa services are also excellent. I would recommend this properly very highly.

I wouldnt stay here again. We booked 2 nights, twin rooms with an extra bed in each. We did not get to the hotel until 5am yet the rooms were still not as we wanted, we got a double bed, and no extra beds, not what we needed at 5am. They said they would sort the rooms the next morning, yet no one said a word the next day. Once extra beds were sorted in both rooms an hr or so later, we realised there werent extra towels for the extra person in each room, ordered extra towels, the staff came back with hand towels!!! The hotel had a wedding going on and the reception was poolside meaning we could not use the pool facilities, staff just cared about the wedding party and the politician that was staying there not regular hotel guests. Same thing happened with breakfast, we ordered hot food on the last day, it did not even arrive. The wedding party were being served and given priority even though we ordered first. Hotel was clean and convenient as was close to the airport but overall quite disappointed. Dont think i’ll be staying again

I didn’t realise it was not close to any shopping areas and it was frustrating that so many functions are held each day. So each day you’re sharing space with guests attending functions. So limited access to gym, restaurants (you need to be at breakfast by 8am before it’s filled up). During breakfast, proper cutlery such as knives are not given which is annoying and then wait for staff to get all cutlery. It should be all set on the tables.

Currently managing a bar in a 5 star hotel my expectations were slightly higher. 1) Check-in could’ve been smoother had someone payed attention at the queue and managed it better. 2)IRD servers were super friendly and food was good. A quality check on food after delivery was expected since its a 5 star hotel. Tray/table clearance was the best. Said to simply press ird on telephone and it’ll be taken care of. Did that a couple of times with but no one came maybe I was doing it wrong? Maybe server delivering food can explain how to call 3) Room was spacious and clean. Loved the sandstone marbles. Just the washroom mirror had some stains not sure what they were and a couple of pillow cases had minor black stains and bedsheet had a minor yellow stain. Again, attention to detail…something expected of 5 star property…not sure if room checks are done once they are ready 4) In today’s day and age Smart tv is a must in my opinion for 5 star hotel…upgrading should not be optional 5) Check out was smooth although agent never asked how the stay was or thanked for staying…verbiage should be improved its a 5 star hotel not a motel 6) Valet team were super welcoming and always had a smile on their face. Overall, a lovely stay with ird servers and valet team making the difference but front desk team needs some coaching as having currently working in hospitality industry I know guest staying at an upscale 5 star hotel have certain expectations. Will return back in a couple of weeks.

The hotel was well appointed and staff was extremely polite and accomodating. I woild remove the carpets in the hallways and rooms which seemed to trap a damp odour. Otherwise very good hotel. Food was very good as well.

The hotel WiFi foes do not work in the rooms even if you select premium and pay for this. WiFi is only available in the lobby and 1st floor - otherwise it is extremely poor. Would not have booked this hotel if I knew this.

Very clean hotel. Beds comfortable. Views from the windows are amazing. The washroom facilities were very good. Lots of storage space. The staff was very polite and helpful. Dining: Excellent menu covering a very wide variety of world menus. Very good vegetarian options. The reception staff was very courteous and helpful.

We booked a family with 2 children, they had prepared the room woth two single beds. The quality of the beds and mattress was lower than poor. It was less than 10cm thick and so hard, no one can sleep on it. The bed frame was awful, felt like something from a unfunded hospital ward. We complained to the manager who was incredibly rude and said of we want luxury then we should pay for that. I was shocked that a customer serive manager would talk to anyone like that. We eventuly got them replaced with some decent beds and mattresses which were ok to sleep on. They should through the old rusty bed and mattress away, cant believe they offered this. A key experience of hotel is a good night sleep which bed quality is a significant part of. The location isnt too bad, we took uber rickshaw as the rickshaws outside the hotel are rip offs, they will charge 300 rupees when uber rickshaw will charge 70 rupees. We topped them up with cash tip eg 170 rupees. Its not about the money, its the moral. Breakfast was ok, nothing super great other than the usual Indian dishes. Would be nice to have more international range eg hash browns, baked beans, roasted tomatoes etc... also didnt see any options for vegans or even eggless deserts, was disappointed. Overall the hotel is ok but due to the service i would not rate it 4 star. 1st impressions leave a mark and the staff massively failed on this occasion. Wouldnt recommend or stay again.

Lovely hotel on the river with wonderful views. I was upgraded to a river facing view which was a big bonus. Staff is a bit inexperienced and does not meet the high standards of Indian 4 and 5 star hotels. However, the more experienced staff more than made up for the ones less experienced so all was well.

The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had an issue with the AC in our room and due to the heat it was uncomfortable and so they were able to help us by shifting us to another room where the AC was working where it was more comfortable.

Currently managing a bar in a 5 star hotel my expectations were slightly higher. 1) Check-in could’ve been smoother had someone payed attention at the queue and managed it better. 2)IRD servers were super friendly and food was good. A quality check on food after delivery was expected since its a 5 star hotel. Tray/table clearance was the best. Said to simply press ird on telephone and it’ll be taken care of. Did that a couple of times with but no one came maybe I was doing it wrong? Maybe server delivering food can explain how to call 3) Room was spacious and clean. Loved the sandstone marbles. Just the washroom mirror had some stains not sure what they were and a couple of pillow cases had minor black stains and bedsheet had a minor yellow stain. Again, attention to detail…something expected of 5 star property…not sure if room checks are done once they are ready 4) In today’s day and age Smart tv is a must in my opinion for 5 star hotel…upgrading should not be optional 5) Check out was smooth although agent never asked how the stay was or thanked for staying…verbiage should be improved its a 5 star hotel not a motel 6) Valet team were super welcoming and always had a smile on their face. There was no consideration of the fact we have travelled all the way from the UK.

Very polite delightful staff always have a smile on their face and would always go the extra mile to help you. My family and I are fans of the Hyatt chain and always pick it as the first choice when travelling in India. A special thanks to Sidharth (duty manager) who communicated very nicely and efficiently when I rang for help. An even big thank you to Khushboo who sorted out the problem of WiFi in our room which was not working. Even though it was late in the evening she transferred us to an amazing excellent room !! Even though we only stayed for one night after a long flight we had a fantastic time. Thank you all once again. 🙏

I wouldnt stay here again. We booked 2 nights, twin rooms with an extra bed in each. We did not get to the hotel until 5am yet the rooms were still not as we wanted, we got a double bed, and no extra beds, not what we needed at 5am. They said they would sort the rooms the next morning, yet no one said a word the next day. Once extra beds were sorted in both rooms an hr or so later, we realised there werent extra towels for the extra person in each room, ordered extra towels, the staff came back with hand towels!!! The hotel had a wedding going on and the reception was poolside meaning we could not use the pool facilities, staff just cared about the wedding party and the politician that was staying there not regular hotel guests. Same thing happened with breakfast, we ordered hot food on the last day, it did not even arrive. The wedding party were being served and given priority even though we ordered first. Hotel was clean and convenient as was close to the airport but overall quite disappointed. Dont think i’ll be staying again

We asked for non-smoking room and we were sent to a floor that was completely stinking with smoke. The room was no different and was smoky. Staff pretended as if they didn't know it was a room for smokers. ANother room wasnt given for 30 mins and staff said they will give me the keys in 10 mins. They never came to me and I had to go ask them for the keys. Terrible experience.

I confirmed with them that I will be checking in late with them and they accepted the checkin time and when I reached there they told me that the hotel is booked out and can’t do anything about it. I had to flight with them at 1:30 at night and then they went and cleaned one of the rooms and got a room at 2 in the night

We had a very pleasant stay at the Hyatt. Our work was at Ahmedabad University, which was a short uber ride away. We were especially impressed with the breakfast buffet, which had excellent range and quality. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. Would certainly stay here again.

Lovely hotel on the river with wonderful views. I was upgraded to a river facing view which was a big bonus. Staff is a bit inexperienced and does not meet the high standards of Indian 4 and 5 star hotels. However, the more experienced staff more than made up for the ones less experienced so all was well.

I didn’t realise it was not close to any shopping areas and it was frustrating that so many functions are held each day. So each day you’re sharing space with guests attending functions. So limited access to gym, restaurants (you need to be at breakfast by 8am before it’s filled up). During breakfast, proper cutlery such as knives are not given which is annoying and then wait for staff to get all cutlery. It should be all set on the tables.

The cleaning didn't do the hoover in the room, otherwise it was a great hotel. Also during breakfast the vegetarian and non vegetarian food were in the sane are. Would have been great if there were in different areas of the restaurant

This is probably the least comfortable Hyatt I’ve ever used. The hotel room did not have that cleansed feel to it. There was always a kind of odour that was akin to wet rot. As for the restaurants, the options were very limited. The staff was really great and helpful and friendly. The property was really the disappointment.

We had wonderful time at Hyaat. Breakfast had good spread and most items were freshly cooked. Service at breakfast was excellent, thanks to Neerag for chatting and helping with food selection. Overall the property was well maintained and very inviting. Staff were well mannered and always ready to help. We will surely come back.

Stayed here with my wife from the 8th Jan to the 11th Jan. The hotel is really nice,the staff outside who generally handle the bags are always respectful and very courteous. I had breakfast one day, plenty of choice but i felt if you asked for something, sometimes you got it and sometimes you did but overall a good experience. There is a coffee shop before entering the restaurant with a blackboard of choices but no prices, I ordered a coffee and was a little horrified it was approximately 350 rupees after tax etc, i think its better to advertise the actual prices, most expensive coffee i have had to date considering it was about 250ml. The staff at reception are very helpful, check in and out was a breeze. The rooms i was in 823 was facing to the side and was very quiet, it was the first time in the 2 weeks i was in india that i did not require ear plugs to sleep. There is plenty of free bottled water left every day. I would happily go back. Thank you to the staff.

Well-located property in Ahmedabad, the only 5-start hotel in the area. I was only sad that my stay was so brief. My room had an excellent view of the riverfront and was filled with amenities - coffee, tea, water bottles, bathrobe, toiletries, international plug points, automated shades, etc. I didn't have an opportunity to try any of the restaurants but I can speak to the room dining service which was excellent. The little things matter to enhance one's experience, and this is what The Hyatt does really well. If I come back to Ahmedabad, I'd be reluctant to stay anywhere else.
