Hotel was very well decorated and clean. Front desk was friendly. The pool and hot tub were very nice with plenty of lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas. Within walking distance to Harrahs Casino and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!

Hotel advertises a pool and hot tub - both of which are outdoor/seasonal and thus closed. They should mention this. Continental breakfast was pathetic at best. Water pressure in shower and sink is almost non existent. Would never stay here again.

Nice hotel at a fair price. A little dated but no complaints. Breakfast bar was not that great. No hot meals or protein of any kind. Just cold carbs. Across the street from the. Casino which was great. Comfy beds, nice pool area.

We stayed here after the hotel I originally booked was not as advertised. We stayed for 6 nights, it was clean, safe and easy to get too. The only thing is the hot tub was broken, and the breakfast finished really early, even on the weekend.

First time here. It has plenty of parking and the shops nearby were very convenient. Jenny was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The internet was good and the pool was clean had plenty of space for swimming. I will likely stay here my next trip.

Roaches in the bathroom, no water bottles in the room, go get drink out of the machine and it gives you a totally different drink than what you picked. Bed was awful egg crate on mattress.very noisy floor slamming doors just not a good experience for price and first time staying there.

Room 107 had been smoked in prior to our checking in. The stench was almost unbearable covered over by a deodorizer which lead me to believe the previous guest spayed to mask the order or house management. We only stayed in the room 6 plus hours due to this fact for sleeping purposes only. I would have brought this issue to managements attention but due to high volume of guest I felt like no other accommodations would be available. Sad because that was my free night as a bonus for staying 10 nights with hotels.com reward program.

This was our second stay at this hotel in Cherokee. The place is beautiful and the staff are great. I accidentally made 2 reservations for the same night. The woman at check-in refunded the extra booking with no problem. The room was very comfortable, clean and has nice amenities. The breakfast was good too.

The property is nice and well kept. My room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is a little disappointing - no protein - just waffles, bagels, muffins, cereal, oatmeal type things. The stuff that was there was fine, I'm just a person that needs protein with breakfast so it stands out. The internet at this location essentially doesn't work. You can connect but only get one bar and have to refresh 67 times to get a partial refresh. I asked about the internet the first morning and was told by a very nice woman at the counter that the IT person would be working on it that day. When I arrived back in the evening I asked the woman behind the counter (a different one) if the internet issues had been resolved and her response was to laugh at me and tell me no. I thought it was very rude and unprofessional. The next morning there was a different gentleman behind the counter who I asked about the internet issue and he basically said the internet doesn't work well in the mountains, which is BS because it works fine at other nearby hotels I've stayed at and the casino. I would not recommend this hotel if you need viable internet during your stay. I certainly will not be staying there again.

Positives - staff is friendly and overall is clean. The hotel is across the street from the casino and an easy walk to it. Close to the Great Smoky Mountains and Park. If you drive through town in the morning or afternoon, chances are you will see elk in peoples yards. Negatives - rooms need remodeling and mattresses need replaced. Breakfast is limited.

We love Stonebrook. We stay every year for a girl's trip to gamble at Harrah's. The casino is just across the street and an easy walk. It's closer than staying at Harrah's! Their rooms are very far from the actual casino. The hotel is always clean and bright. Breakfast is good and they have a beautiful pool and hot tub. The staff is always accommodating and courteous. It's a beautiful hotel!

The property is nice and well kept. My room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is a little disappointing - no protein - just waffles, bagels, muffins, cereal, oatmeal type things. The stuff that was there was fine, I'm just a person that needs protein with breakfast so it stands out. The internet at this location essentially doesn't work. You can connect but only get one bar and have to refresh 67 times to get a partial refresh. I asked about the internet the first morning and was told by a very nice woman at the counter that the IT person would be working on it that day. When I arrived back in the evening I asked the woman behind the counter (a different one) if the internet issues had been resolved and her response was to laugh at me and tell me no. I thought it was very rude and unprofessional. The next morning there was a different gentleman behind the counter who I asked about the internet issue and he basically said the internet doesn't work well in the mountains, which is BS because it works fine at other nearby hotels I've stayed at and the casino. I would not recommend this hotel if you need viable internet during your stay. I certainly will not be staying there again.

Nice hotel at a fair price. A little dated but no complaints. Breakfast bar was not that great. No hot meals or protein of any kind. Just cold carbs. Across the street from the. Casino which was great. Comfy beds, nice pool area.

We had a nice one night stay. Check in was fast and easy. Stay was very professional and polite. It’s a short drive to the creek in downtown Cherokee. Nice pool with covered area. It’s about 20 minutes from Bryson City for a nice dinner. We walked over to Harrahs for the evening. Only complain was the small breakfast. Waffles, cereals and breads. Not really a complaint but it was just smaller than most continental breakfasts. Definitely wouldn’t stop me from staying there again. Nice 1 night stay.

This hotel was very clean and beautiful! It was a quick walk across the street for dinner in the casino. The only negative is that breakfast is very basic. I would recommend going to eat elsewhere for breakfast.

Staff was very helpful when we arrived. Hotel and room was very clean. Comfortable beds and clean bathroom. I loved how all the hallways were decorated!! Outdoor pool was a great option on the 90 degree day. Breakfast was very good too. We extremely enjoyed our 2-night stay. Travelers from Minnesota.

Went to Cherokee for a quick weekend and stayed at the Stonebook. We would stay again but there was a distinct smell on the second floor, not sure if it was from the carpets or what. Also room had a musty smell to it so had to lower the AC very low to get rid of the humidity in the room. I don't think they put enough freon in the HVAC units. Did not wake up early enough to enjoy the breakfast but we did enjoy the pool one afternoon and water was clean and nice. Be careful if you are going to casino... Easy to lose money in no time. One of the other ladies warned us that even if you play the penny slots, you think you are putting just 20 in but if you do max bet, it will take your whole 20. So we played about 10 mins and lost 60 and that was it. Set your limit and walk away when done! You see so many dejected people there that obviously lost their rent money which is so sad!
