Planet Hollywood Beach Resort Goa

I had a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the property is incredibly spacious and set in a stunning location. The serene beach, just a 2-minute walk away, offers the perfect spot to relax and unwind.

The property was located on a beach and was amazing. I had a great time living there. Staff was very helpful and quick. Definitely recommend to others.

Acess to private beach. We had a chalet near to sea so it was nice experience. Food options in tje restaurant is having limited choice. They shoud introduce or give oprions for more authetic south indian dishes. Over all it was good

A very quiet and secluded resort. My cab driver did have some trouble finding it, the signs are not posted clearly and there wasn’t much to do around the property but my intention for Goa was to just have a relaxing time so it was perfectly fine for that purpose. The property was pretty nice. The pool was massive and very pleasant. Everyone was super sweet and helpful. I had drinks at their bar while waiting for my room to be ready and I met Faizan who was the sweetest and ended up having a great conversation. I liked their restaurant by the beach. Had an amazing sunset dinner on my first night there. They do tend to have a lot of weddings so be prepared for the hustle and bustle but honestly, my room was very quiet and I had no disturbance. There are quite a few cheaper food options on the beach as well. You can just walk there for a beer or eat. I did get breakfast with my stay which was really good. Highly recommend it. All in all, if you are planning to just have a relaxing stay, this place is pretty good but is kinda a drive for shopping and other things to do.

The rooms were very spacious, and the staff’s hospitality was top-notch. Every detail was handled with utmost care and precision. The breakfast spread was impressive and offered a good variety. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

Overall the hotel is well appointed with beach front access and lovely, warm sand with little to no garbage. The groundd of the hotel are well maintained, for Indian standards, and are very beautifully landscaped. This is similar to a 3* resort in the Caribbean. The rooms are a bit dated, the beds needs replacing and the use of satin bed covers and pillow cases is a bit off putting due to visible staining. The common areas are in need of modernization as the theme of Hollywood needs to stay a bit more relevant. There are no activities anywhere in the resort with the exception of a carrom board and some paid archery. The outside kids area is great with lots to play on. The pool is well maintained though we did have to alert them off several insects living in the pool (pool chemicals need to be increased). We visited the spa and it was well done. There were only 2 restaurant choices available when we went (Nov 2022), Poseidon's grill (beach front bar) and the buffet. The beach front was great, the food was excellent, fresh and no "after effects", though the prices are around $18CAD/1100INR for sushi roll and about $10/550INR for alcoholic beverages. Be careful when purchasing the grilled seafood, the price is per grm (4 Tiger prawns was about $24/1300INR). The buffet is good, Dinner and lunch buffet was good, though 95% Indian food only with 1 thai curry and 1 pasta though they claim to be a multi cultural food selection. Great dessert!

Place seems like it was never taken care of. Mold on all outdoor furniture. Drinks are terrible. Pool bar was closed said due to Covid. Lobby is kept great but after that place is a dump. No music anywhere place is just dry no excitement not sure where it gets it’s reviews from or who’s doing it but this is not a good place for vacation. On a good note staff is great not their fault how the place is kept. Probably poor management or just lack of the Planet Hollywood feel. No beach chairs or service by the pool. No drink service by the pool. Beach bar crew is great very accommodating hookah was perfect. Ac was cold in the room.

Gutes Familienhotel, sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Uns fehlte nur die Infrastruktur im Sinne von Liegen und Service am Strand. Die Strasse zur Unterkunft ist eine Zumutung.

How is this place 5 stars? Maybe once upon a time when it opened. But now it’s very rundown. My room had dead in insects everywhere upon check-in, room also had a strong smell of urine and musty. Can’t get rest as so much noise from both other guests and staff. Breakfast was mediocre at best.

Rooms were dirty- towel was ripped, switches didn’t work. Service was slow or there was none. Was also very overpriced

La propiedad se encuentra en una localización muy tranquila y se puede disfrutar muy bien la playa , el hotel muy bonito y los jardines hermosos, al igual la comida deliciosa, sin embargo su limpieza de la habitación no fue la mejor, del baño salía un olor muy desagradable y las paredes del baño con un poco de moho tuvimos que pedir que la limpiaran de nuevo, se ven instalaciones un poco dañadas sobre todo el baño y muebles un poco viejos.

The sea facing cottage was a great facility to stay in. Extremely comfortable and the foot massager was a boon. Will definitely return

The property and the location is superb. We were on Chalet Sea view, The view was awesome from the view. As the room were on distance and service request was taking time to deliver. Other than this every thing was awesome

They were doing construction the whole time we were there! They would work on it till really late at night. On our last night i had to call 2x's to have them stop construction as I could not sleep with the pounding and saw noise. Overall the stay was great minus the construction. Chef Abishek was amazing! Made us the perfect meal and would ALWAYS check on us!

Had an amazing sunset dinner on my first night there. They do tend to have a lot of weddings so be prepared for the hustle and bustle but honestly, my room was very quiet and I had no disturbance. There are quite a few cheaper food options on the beach as well. You can just walk there for a beer or eat. I did get breakfast with my stay which was really good. Highly recommend it. All in all, if you are planning to just have a relaxing stay, this place is pretty good but is kinda a drive for shopping and other things to do.

If this property is considered 5 Star, something needs to change, starting with the staff. The front desk staff are not accommodating of ANY requests, there is zero flexibility and they do not seem to understand basic English. I booked two king rooms only to have one room with two single beds shoved together. Ta-da there’s your king bed. Only one bed was butted up to the light and power switches. Every time my husband moved the lights would come on. We asked to be moved and were told there were no other rooms available, a blatant lie. We had other family members book a stay at the hotel after we had checked in and moved right in to their room choice. Breakfast is poor quality and very limiting. Again not 5 star quality, more likely 1 or 2 star at best. Please check you bill when leaving and while you are still on property. I had laundry services and taxis added to my bill which I fought tooth and nail to have removed. They offered to take the laundry service and add it to another family members bill instead of removing it all together. When I asked for the taxi to be removed, they said I had to send an email with all my credit card info and dispute it. If I am standing in front of the front desk and handing my card to them, why were they unable to remove the charge right there and then? I shared with them that I was not willing to share credit card info via unencrypted email, but that wasn’t a concern for them. Please reconsider staying here. Worst experience ever!!
