Our suite was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The fireplace even worked with dura flame logs which you could get at the front desk. There was plenty of parking which in Newport can be an issue. The rooms were spacious and the bars were comfortable. This was a very affordable and relaxing place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The unit was very large and quiet, overlooking the water. Beautiful grounds, large pools, both indoor and out door, close to everything. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Parking was easy and we could walk everywhere. Would definitely stay again!

we were in a two bedroom suite. We were so excited when we walked through the suite, It was so spacious! The balcony overlooking the harbor was spectacular! We took advantage of the gym and the indoor pool. Every area we explored was impeccably clean. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The hotel is located in a great spot to explore Newport and surrounding towns.

Overall, the property is great for families as the suites are comfortable in size. The location is great, right on Thames street but on the quieter end which we preferred! The property itself is clean but a bit dated. The pools were nice and clean and the staff was very approachable and helpful. One thing they should consider is having pool towels available at the pool, and not making guests walk to the clubhouse to get them. Certainly not a deal breaker though, just general feedback. I would stay at the Wellington again!

Stayed with family. Hotel was fantastic! We had 2 bedrooms with views to ocean, free parking right on front - very convinient location. Rooms are spacious truely! Light polution was to minimum - great for stargazing. Jaccuzi in master bathroom! TV's in all rooms ! Indoor/outdoor pool, shower (they even have sauna!) Separate Kitchen/Dining Area! No much room services - but that's expected. Checkout time early - but we were fine with that.Safety - didn't saw anything dangerous, but I would be cautious a bit - less people at the time of year (April)... Shopping is average (but that's not due to location, just newport in general). Definitely will stay again if going newport!

Suite where we stayed was clean and comfortable, but could have used a little TLC. Rooms seemed a bit musty. Location was great! Everything was fairly easy to walk to. We had a lovely view from our room. Very convenient that we were able to park there before and after check in/check out.

We had an amazing stay! The rooms were so spacious and comfortable and clean. Our kids enjoyed the indoor pool. For a family of 6 this is the perfect place to stay. We will be back!

Stay was fine. Really great if you have a family because you are given so much space for a great price. It’s not totally renovated which is fine with us, but it had a really strong mens cologne smell throughout the apartment and even on the bedding which made it really hard to sleep. We were excited to use the pool, which was nice, but the water was really murky. I couldn’t see my daughter in the water when she would jump in which I wasn’t crazy about. It was worth it for the space.

Upon check in this evening it was such a pleasure having a friendly staff behind the desk to greet us. Simple check in process. Great location!!! Housekeeping does an exceptional job upkeep in condo!! Pleasant experience! Location spot on end of Thames with great restaurants walking distance. Must try Hooked Restaurant, Vieste Italian, Protective Club great libations , sports and freshly sliced meat sandwich’s!! Highly recommend this resort!!!

We loved having all the space in the condo. It was very clean and I especially enjoyed having the coffee maker/pods available each day. The furnishing were a bit worn but the cleanliness, coffee, amazing staff, great parking, beautiful grounds, close proximity to downtown and the waterfront deck made for a great stay! The staff were extremely nice. The location is perfect. Suites are large. Just a couple of small issues. The jacuzzi didn’t work in our bathroom. The TV’s didn’t work in our bedrooms. And it’s a bit dated. But all and all, great stay.

Great location within walking distance to the marina and very spacious for a family of 4. Great amenities and the suite was well equipped, although since it is part of a time share, the apartment was clean but dated. Good value in the winter in the offseason, but the town looked beautiful with the holiday decor There’re lots of shops and eateries around. Stayed here for one night in December .

There was plenty of room for myself and my daughters. There should be a sign or something said to or provided to guests stating when quiet hours are as there were guests in the room above that were quite loud until after midnight and I couldn’t call the front desk until morning. Also there should be something provided to cook in the kitchen aside from the one pan with a lid that plugs into the wall. It was very difficult to cook in the room multiple things. It would’ve been better to have an actual oven or at least a stove top.

Room was great. 2 Bedroom 2 Bath With Kitchen, washer dryer!!!(bigger than we needed for 2) Beautiful view.. Location is good. Some walking but not too far! This would be a great room if traveling with family. We will be looking to stay again, and will bring family.

Really large apartment with 2 good size bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & good size lounge/diner with balcony & sea views. Only negative was the kitchen was a bit small & there was no hob for cooking or kettle for making tea. But there was a dishwasher, combo oven, microwave & even a washing machine.

This has the potential to be a great property, as the staff was always really nice and friendly and the location can't be beat. However, we stayed for 3 nights and I was a little taken aback that nobody came to empty the trash or make sure that we had enough toilet paper. We ended up running out and called the front desk only to find out that it is not staffed at night and it is an answering service. I understand the check-in says if you want room cleaned, you need to provide 24 hours notice. I don't consider emptying a trash barrel or providing a roll of toilet paper cleaning service. So, if you're looking for a no-frills property, you found it. I guess I didn't realize toilet paper was a frill?!

Upon check in this evening it was such a pleasure having a friendly staff behind the desk to greet us. Simple check in process. Great location!!! Housekeeping does an exceptional job upkeep in condo!! Pleasant experience! Location spot on end of Thames with great restaurants walking distance. Must try Hooked Restaurant, Vieste Italian, Protective Club great libations , sports and freshly sliced meat sandwich’s!! Highly recommend this resort!!!

Great location within walking distance to the marina and very spacious for a family of 4. Great amenities and the suite was well equipped, although since it is part of a time share, the apartment was clean but dated. Good value in the winter in the offseason, but the town looked beautiful with the holiday decor There’re lots of shops and eateries around. Stayed here for one night in December .

This resort is a hidden secret compared to all the brand name hotels around the area like Marriott. This was well worth it, and we loved the spacious suite the resort is close to everything walking distance to thames Street just a stone throw away !!

Great staff, restaurant and room. Know that this property sits on the main road and can get noisy. However, we loved parking our car and walking through the nice town.

We loved this hotel and it was perfect for our 2 young kids. It was an easy walk to the wharf and heart of Newport. Our kids loved playing in the indor and outdoor pools and there were plenty of lounge chairs and tables. The suite was spacious and we loved having a dining room and sitting area for the kids to play and eat.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wellington. It was clean, very comfortable and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The pool was great and well kept. The location is perfect for a stay in Newport and you can’t beat the balcony views.

The hotel staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our room was very well stocked with everything we could have needed. The view was beautiful. The pool was well maintained. Our room was exceptionally clean. This place is great for families who need extra rooms, more space, a full kitchen, and a washer/dryer. We would absolutely stay here again.
