Yorkway's proximity to Melbourne Raceway makes it an ideal place to stay for drag racing enthusiasts. The motel layout allows you to park your car directly outside your room. The resturant and bar facilities are comfortable and the food is good quality.

I tend to stay here when working near York. It's a fantastic little place with great parking just outside your room. The rooms a spacious enough for work in the evenings and very comfortable. Breakfast is great too and the chap who runs it is really friendly. I look forward to my next stay there.

Perfectly clean and comfortable motel with a nice modern bathroom. The shower was excellent - one of the best I've ever used. Food is good honest home cooking - nothing fancy but nice and tasty. EV charging on site at 50p/kWh is very handy.

Stayed just one night for a university open day with my husband and daughter. I cannot fault the service we received. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and the facilities were clean. We had our evening meal on arrival and breakfast before we left for the open day - all the food was lovely. Would've liked some biscuits with our tea/coffee making facility in the room. We've never stayed a motel so enjoyed the fact we could park right outside our room. There was a little noise from the road close by but this was reduced by keeping the bathroom door closed. Really enjoyed our very brief stay!

What a superb place. Excellent all round is all I can say. Easy parking. Lovely bar and eating areas. Really comfy room with tea and coffee making facilities and a lovely big walk in shower complete with toiletries. Staff were all really nice and the food was just brilliant. Breakfast really good to. Sets you up for the day. Looking forward to next time I’m visiting the area to stay again.

We weren't expecting much but actually the staff were lovely, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was much better than most hotels we've stayed in, eg. Premier Inn, Hampton etc. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely 2 night stay at the Yorkmotel. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, very clean. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order with table service from friendly staff. We didn't visit the bar or restaurant but it looked very nice. Location was good around 20 minutes from the nearest park and ride which was perfect but there was a bus stop nearby with buses going straight to York. Locally there was a pub and some fast food restaurants.

We've just had a three day break this weekend gone and it was our first time staying at the Yorkway Motel and was pleasantly surprised by how lovely it looked on arrival the grounds and the properties all looked well maintained,our room was absolutely spotless comfy bed too,staff where so friendly on arrival in the reception and in the dining area you automatically felt at ease such a relaxing atmosphere,food was great too.If i could give Yorkway Motel 10 stars i would and would definitely stay there again.10/10. An excellent place to stay. Our room was exceptional - lots of lights and sockets everywhere. Food was really good too; best breakfast we’ve ever had. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I would definitely recommend.

Nice large room, good size bathroom, comfortable mattress. Very good food in the evening - home battered fish and chips was terrific. Breakfast good too. Hard working and very helpful staff. Quite a lot of noise from the road, though keeping the bathroom door closed at night helped. Room a little airless as keeping windows open for ventilation meant a lot of road noise would come in.

The Room we very spacious even with 3 beds and very clean. Plenty of car parking right next to the room. We had a great home-cooked meal in the restaurant and an excellent breakfast each morning. All of the staff we met were very friendly and happy to suggest places to visit. The Motel is well situated for visits to York and surrounding areas and there is an easy to find Park&Ride into York

Cosy, Clean Motel + Warm and Pleasant Motel Staff. Such an awesome, cosy and quaint motel to stay. The breakfast made to order, warm and delicious was an unexpected treat. The waiting/counter staff were wonderful and friendly. Made our 1 night stay simply great and wish for a B&B experience a great one indeed. Room was huge and bathroom so clean. Water pressure was like a waterfall - another welcomed surprise. Thanks!!

I stay in Pock frequently, i always stay at the Yorkway, owners are amazing, staff are amazing, always greeted with a smile, clean rooms, perfect for visiting York thats 12 miles up the road
I stay in Pock frequently, i always stay at the Yorkway, owners are amazing, staff are amazing, always greeted with a smile, clean rooms, perfect for visiting York thats 12 miles up the road

Stayed just one night for a university open day with my husband and daughter. I cannot fault the service we received. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and the facilities were clean. We had our evening meal on arrival and breakfast before we left for the open day - all the food was lovely. Would've liked some biscuits with our tea/coffee making facility in the room. We've never stayed a motel so enjoyed the fact we could park right outside our room. There was a little noise from the road close by but this was reduced by keeping the bathroom door closed. Really enjoyed our very brief stay!

Nice large room, good size bathroom, comfortable mattress. Very good food in the evening - home battered fish and chips was terrific. Breakfast good too. Hard working and very helpful staff. Quite a lot of noise from the road, though keeping the bathroom door closed at night helped. Room a little airless as keeping windows open for ventilation meant a lot of road noise would come in.

The Room we very spacious even with 3 beds and very clean. Plenty of car parking right next to the room. We had a great home-cooked meal in the restaurant and an excellent breakfast each morning. All of the staff we met were very friendly and happy to suggest places to visit. The Motel is well situated for visits to York and surrounding areas and there is an easy to find Park&Ride into York

What a find. A little way out of York (20 minute drive),but such good value compared to city centre hotels. Very quiet, good sized room. Whole place very clean and tidy. Super breakfast. Staff really nice. Shout out for Michelle. Highly recommended

Lovely 2 night stay at the Yorkmotel. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, very clean. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order with table service from friendly staff. We didn't visit the bar or restaurant but it looked very nice. Location was good around 20 minutes from the nearest park and ride which was perfect but there was a bus stop nearby with buses going straight to York. Locally there was a pub and some fast food restaurants.

An excellent place to stay. Our room was exceptional - lots of lights and sockets everywhere. Food was really good too; best breakfast we’ve ever had. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I would definitely recommend.

Yorkway's proximity to Melbourne Raceway makes it an ideal place to stay for drag racing enthusiasts. The motel layout allows you to park your car directly outside your room. The resturant and bar facilities are comfortable and the food is good quality.

Comfortable rooms with good coffee, Yorkshire tea, and great biscuits renewed every day. Excellent "bathroom" with spacious, easy to adjust shower and large heated towel rail, plus great complimentary toiletries, and lots of shelf space for our personal toiletries. One tiny grumble - the small bathroom fan in my room, switched with the bathroom light, was strangely noisy! Very kind and helpful staff. Superb cooked-to-order breakfasts, plus cereals, yogurt, breads, etc. (but no fruit). The unusual feature where, if we get takeaway dinners (plenty of choices a mile away in Pock, including Stuarts fish and chips, many which can be delivered), they provide the table, cutlery and crockery, then serve any drinks you need, is brilliant!
