Infrastructure: The building is old and not reneovated. Due to that you notice that some stuff is really old. But beside that you are really near to the city by car. They also offer you free parkingspace. For sporty people they offer for free tennis rackets where you can play tennis. Food: The breakfast is very good. They offer great and delicious bread/fruits/Cheese. Service: The reception is opened just few hours. Otherwise you have online check-in or calling sbd. People are friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great stay.

De staat van het hotel is slecht, vooral de algemene ruimtes als lobby, gangen en liften en restaurant. Het hotel is zeer zwaar verouderd, vloerbedekking in algemene ruimtes zitten vol vlekken en zijn versleten. Vermoedelijk dertig jaar geleden een mooi hotel, nu volledig vergane glorie. Nog geen twee sterren accommodatie. Veel te weinig personeel, geen bediening bij zwembad. En ook niet overdag in het restaurant. De kamers zijn zeer ruim, redelijk schoon maar zwaar verouderd. ‘Vergane glorie’ in elk opzicht. Zeker geen aanrader om te verblijven. Ontbijtbuffet was redelijk maar absoluut beneden peil. Jammer van onze tijd!

Das Hotel lebt von alten, guten Zeiten. Die Lage, der Park, die Ruhe wunderbar. Jedoch alles etwas veraltet, abgenutzt, zusammengewürfelt, lieblos, was sehr schade ist. Auf die Sauberkeit, Details sollte zwingend mehr Wert gelegt werden. Für mich sind 4 Sterne nicht gerechtfertigt. Das Frühstückbuffet hat ne schöne Auswahl, frisch. Da sollte die Präsentation nicht wie in einer Mensa sein, praktisch und lieblos.

Das Hotel ist in den 70er, 80er Jahren stehen geblieben! Eingangstür undicht, Gummidichtung hängt runter. Parkettboden wäre schön, wenn er mal abgeschliffen würde. Abklebband von den letzten Malerarbeiten, wahrscheinlich vor 10 Jahren hängt noch. Lampenschirm vergilbt. Bad von den 70 Jahren und es kracht fast alles ab. Zahnputzbecher billigster Plastikbecher den es gibt! Teppichböden igitt, uralt! Und es mieft im Zimmer. Ist mir unerklärlich, wie man für eine Bruchbude soviel zahlen muss. Kein Wunder gehen die Schweizer ins Ausland. Essensauswahl naja. Das mediterrane Buffet für 75.- Fr. ist ein Witz sondergleichen!!! Das Frühstück war gut.

Hotellet har helt sikkert været flot og prægtigt for et par årtier siden, med med de priser de kører med på overnatning og mad, kan de ikke leve på fortidens meritter. Hotellet er nedslidt og morgenmaden var en joke. Aftensmaden i restauranten sprang vi over fordi den kostede 525 kr. pr. person for buffet. Det var skimmel i bruseren på vores værelse, hvor gulv og dekoration trængte til en opdatering. Stedet skulle have været renoveret for min. 10 år siden.

The room itself was excellent, very spacious. Bathroom was outdated and couch was old. Hotel is a bit dated as well. Parking was not well defined, but was in attached garage. Main issue was lack of onsite front desk personnel. We only saw someone there when we checked in, and then no one for 3-days, including at check out. Assistance was a phone at front desk. This is a satellite to luxury hotel across street.

Air conditioning sounds like a truck beside the bed. The beds was hard as concrete. We complaint, but no response from staff. The park and pool area was nice and pool was heated up. Quite long walk to city center

It was a beautiful stay for us. The hotel is in a really nice location, personnel is polite and friendly, breakfast was also very good. The only observation is that many areas and furniture look very old, and like they are on their last days of usability. I imagine soon they will need to go under big renovations

Eigentlich war es mehr oder weniger gut, es ist eigentlich ungewöhnlich wenn kein Personal im Hotel ist ausser beim Frühstück.einfach unpersönlich. Für diesen Betrag möchte ich auch nicht reklamieren obwohl einiges nicht zum 4 Stern Hotel passt. Das Zimmer war sehr gross und auch ruhig.

This is a self service hotel and it took me 20 minutes to find my room. There is absolutely NO signage. The room was large, slightly tatty and reasonably comfortable. The breakfast was nice and the staff were polite. I can't believe they don't leave a map to show where rooms are.

I recently stayed at the Park Hotel Principe during a business trip and had a wonderful experience. The hotel's natural surroundings are absolutely stunning, providing a peaceful and serene environment. Its proximity to the university was incredibly convenient for my work commitments. The staff at the hotel were exceptional, with special mention to Ms. Barbara from the front office, who was super kind and helpful throughout my stay. Eigentlich war es mehr oder weniger gut, es ist eigentlich ungewöhnlich wenn kein Personal im Hotel ist ausser beim Frühstück.einfach unpersönlich. Für diesen Betrag möchte ich auch nicht reklamieren obwohl einiges nicht zum 4 Stern Hotel passt. Das Zimmer war sehr gross und auch ruhig.

This place must have been really nice… three decades ago. Now, it feels dated. The style was always gordy, but now it almost feels like being in a movie from the 1960s. Everything looks and feels old, despite the grandeur of the past and the continued signs of wealth (including three covered Rolls Royces in the underground parking). In the end, it is more of a great attraction than a great accommodation, also because it is inconveniently located — given that the distance to downtown Lugano isn’t that big, but the road is incredibly hilly and steep. Only stay there if you want to be at that place (for whatever reason), but not because you need accommodation for you visit to Lugano.

They also offer you free parkingspace. For sporty people they offer for free tennis rackets where you can play tennis. Food: The breakfast is very good. They offer great and delicious bread/fruits/Cheese. Service: The reception is opened just few hours. Otherwise you have online check-in or calling sbd. People are friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great stay.

L hôtel est superbe . Vue sur jardin . Vraiment à recommander .. sur colline tres bien desservi par bus ou navette de l hôtel gratuite depuis Gare centrale. Endroit tres calme tres beau tres chic et reposant .luxueux et petit déjeuner grandiose. Merci !

The staff were great and the hotel has big rooms! The only thing is that the prices for a water (CHF 4) AND breakfast (CHF 35/person) are way expensive. You better eat somewhere else. ;)

It was a beautiful stay for us. The hotel is in a really nice location, personnel is polite and friendly, breakfast was also very good. The only observation is that many areas and furniture look very old, and like they are on their last days of usability. I imagine soon they will need to go under big renovations

Hotellet har helt sikkert været flot og prægtigt for et par årtier siden, med med de priser de kører med på overnatning og mad, kan de ikke leve på fortidens meritter. Hotellet er nedslidt og morgenmaden var en joke. Aftensmaden i restauranten sprang vi over fordi den kostede 525 kr. pr. person for buffet. Det var skimmel i bruseren på vores værelse, hvor gulv og dekoration trængte til en opdatering. Stedet skulle have været renoveret for min. 10 år siden.

If you are looking for room and a pool it is good but VERY outdated. The sister hotel across the road is night and day difference. There are very fee in any staff ever available including at check in and out.
