Great, centrally located hotel, right across the street from the Georgia Aquarium, and just a couple minutes to Centennial Park, which has lots of dining options within a couple blocks. The hotel was clean, quiet and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I didn’t care for was the mandatory $55 valet fee.

The hotel was fine and the front desk was great. My only complaint is that a hotel shouldn't claim to have an onsite bar/restaurant if it is never open. It was supposed to open at 5 but there was never anyone working. Twice we were told an employee would be right back, but they never materialized.

We got a great rate and were looking for a hotel close to State Farm Arena. The lack of parking was a real negative for us. You either valet for $55 or you have to park in a nearby garage. If you have a lot of bags with you that would definitely be a downside. Our room had quite a few ladybugs crawling around in it and our toilet wasn't super clean. The staff were friendly and otherwise it was fine.

We stayed here for several days during a recent trip to Atlanta and overall had a good experience. The hotel was very clean throughout, and the free breakfast each morning was a nice bonus. Our suite had a separate bedroom, a small kitchen, and a living room with a pull-out couch, which worked really well for our family and gave us plenty of space to spread out. There was also a nice sitting area by the pool that we enjoyed. However, the pool itself did have a strange foamy layer on top that bothered our kids and left them feeling a bit slimy after swimming. To the hotel’s credit, they did clean it every night, and it did seem to improve some by the end of our stay. The location was a little farther from the main attractions than we realized when booking, but that was on us for not double-checking the distance. Still, if you’re looking for a quiet, clean hotel with good amenities and plenty of room for a family, this is a solid choice.

Upon entering the hotel room, we noticed an incredibly strong smell of weed. There was an air machine left in the room that maintenance came to take away several hours after we checked in. Despite multiple housekeeping staff spraying air freshener, changing the bed linens that smelled like a dispensary, and generally trying to help us manage staying there for 4 nights, it continued to smell during our entire stay. The hotel was quite busy upon check-in so we decided to make the best of it. Perhaps we should have complained and tried to change rooms...however, multiple people were aware of the rooms condition. It was also missing the rubber seal under the door so we could hear everything and it never got dark at night. Upon checkout, I informed the front desk that the room needed to be cleaned bc of the smell. I was also charged for 4 nights of valet parking when I only used it the first night. This was refunded but only because I caught it at 7 am upon checkout. Where do I start with the food? There is no food nearby, the hotel breakfast is a huge miss (powdered eggs, no toaster in the room etc), and the bar serves substandard drinks that are cocktail bar prices. So just be aware of what you're getting when you stay here. The fire pit by the pool was broken, and staff were quite unconcerned about this or fixing it. The pool closes at 10 and at 9:50 we were asked to leave rudely. Is any hotel nearby better? Doubtful, given the star ratings. Atlanta!!

We stayed for 5 days for our family trip. It is super close to lots of activities. The front desk staff was amazing. They were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic. They had French toast one day, waffles one day, and pancakes. They had eggs daily, yogurt, fruit, bagels, cereal. It truly is the best breakfast I have had at a hotel. The only issue we had is the pool. The pool was nasty. There was so much hair and trash in the pool. I saw someone cleaning it one day but it was still dirty!

Was lucky enough to get free street parking right in front of the hotel. There’s only 4 or 5 spots out there, so don’t expect it. Breakfast was solid and a nice option for a free meal to start the day. The pool is heated and was open during the last week of March. The workout center was clean and had adequate equipment. Overall the facility was clean, and front desk staff was courteous and very helpful. A great experience overall.

Massive clumps of blonde hair was in my shower, so I went downstairs to report it because the phone in the room didn't work. I was assured they'd clean. I went out, came back, and it was still there. I went back down stairs, head of housekeeping apologized while housekeeping actually cleaned it. No thank you.

Staff was excellent. Breakfast was ok. But air in our rm(230) was not working, very hot. Lights would go out while showering with no one in the room but you. Carpet was very dirty. There was trash lining the corridor(flr 2) upon arrival at 6pm. Told the dryer stopped working, so there were no towels, wash cloths available. We had 4 guests in our room and it had 2 towels, 3 hand towels and 1 wash cloth when we arrived. We were told we had to wait until 8pm to get towels but we needed to shower and be to our event at 8pm. Lastly, valet told us if we needed our car back after check in, then we needed to park elsewhere because he wouldn't be able to retrieve it. He also said that the cars get stolen often out of the lot. Lots of issues.

The flush handle was coming apart on the toilet. The floors were very sandy and so was the balcony. And in the bedroom the swivel chair on the right arm rest had a starp nail protruding from the side of it. Other then that is was a nice view and very convenient going from the pools and the beach.

Room was dusty, coffee maker was not clean, bottled water is $9, the water cut off while I was showering and was not restored in time for me to shower before my event. The housekeepers begin knocking and opening your door two hour prior to checkout, disturbing my nap. I'll never return here.

We had several items that were soaked in blood. There was blood spots on the comforter, sheets, light switch, and also a pillow. We also didn’t have any hot water for showers in the morning. We booked a 2 night stay and left after the first night.

A bit sad to see - Nice property, big rooms, but not being looked after very well. Carpets in corridors to rooms sense very dirty (looked like a puke-stain on the corridor outside our room). First room we were out in had missing black-out blinds and missing curtains (why put us in there or why didn’t the staff know it? - maybe this attitude why the building is falling into disrepair…). We had a relaxing time! The beds were big enough :) and the staff was super helpful. Our kids had a great time in the pool and the gym!

I had an overall great stay. The staff was excellent—friendly, attentive, and communicative throughout my visit. The room was spacious and comfortable, and while the food was simple continental fare, it was enjoyable. My kids especially loved the snacks and fishes in the lobby. The valet team was efficient, quick, and truly deserving of kudos. I had no issues during my stay and would happily return.

If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and safe hotel near the Aquarium, Centennial Park, or the World of Coca-Cola, this is a good choice! I've noticed lots of comments about the parking situation: yes, it is expensive. However, it is clearly stated on their website and on their Hotels.com page that parking is valet & costs $55 per night. Pros: - Convenient location within walking distance to many attractions and some delicious restaurants - Excellent customer service - Free breakfast - Felt very safe - Nice views - Late check-out Cons: - Some aspects of the room were a bit worn (loose electrical socket plates, a patch on the ceiling that was missed during repainting, chips and dings on the furniture, etc.) - Some mattresses need replacement - High cost for parking I wish I had gotten the name of the young lady who checked us in. I stayed at the Hyatt House Atlanta Downtown for only one night with my family for a quick visit to the Georgia Aquarium. Parking options are limited to valet parking only per night for a service can be easily done by yourself because the car is parked right in the parking lot of the hotel. The room looked clean at first sight, but some important amenities were missing: shower gel (the bottle they put in the shower to dispense the gel was empty); no WIFI service, when I called front desk to ask for wifi information the agent told me their wifi was not working at the moment (it was never informed to me or displayed on their site); only 3 bath towels were provided for a room and a reservation of 4; no complimentary bottle of water provided in the room either.

Rooms are clean! Up to date but can tell it’s beginning to ware. Hot water didn’t work for hours. Kitchen equipped with everything you’d need. Love the location, feels safe. Furniture is all low to ground. Overall nice stay. I would stay again 😊

The bed and pillows in Room 606 was extremely comfortable, the room was on the more spacious side, the breakfast was average. A close by short walk to downtown attractions was a huge plus along with the friendly front counter staff. Would recommend it and would stay here again for the price range.

The highlight was the staff: Richard in the lobby was caring and went out of his way to help us. Steven noticed I was looking for luggage carts, and he went out of his way and searched for a one around the hotel and brought it to our room; we really don't see this every day. Room was in great condition I wish breakfast would include Waffles for my kids, but breakfast was hot and good If you are coming to the Aquarium, Coca Cola, this is a great location.

After a bumpy start with the front desk attendant, we had a lovely stay afterward. We did not get his name, but he was clearly not enthusiastic about his job. He did not provide us information about breakfast, or anything else actually. He seemed very annoyed we were there. I came down twice to ask for new batteries for the remote and he did not know where they were and wasn’t interested in looking for any. Thankfully someone else stopped in and helped. When I came down later to ask for a complimentary toothbrush the hotel said it offered, he said there were none and did not offer me an option of where to buy one nearby. Pretty sour experience overall. Gratefully, we did not see him again the rest of the week and the other attendants and valets were very accommodating and kind.

Staying here, as I write this and experienced the worst customer service in recent memory. I would recommend staying at one of the many other hotels in the area where the rates are competitive and the service is better.

Stay was just okay. I accidentally booked this location after once booking before and being completely disappointed. Some of the front desk staff was rude and clearly shows a disliking for anyone not black. Jose specifically. So sad. To top it off, I paid for parking daily and discovered valet parked my car on the sidewalk to accommodate other cars coming to park from outside the hotel. It was left there unlocked on the sidewalk and free for anyone to vandalize.I won’t be staying here again.

A mixed bag. Others stated the hotel is short-staffed- it definitely seems so. Starting at check-in, it took 15 minutes to check-in with a few other customers in front of us. The line for breakfast in the morning was 15 to 20 minutes long- mostly because items were out-of-stock (couldn't keep up). Across two days, there as no OJ, coffee, coffee cups (once coffee was eventually available 30 minutes later), eggs, sausage and pancakes. Frankly, that's nearly everything. The staff were hustling to replenish. One other note- I have VERY LOW expectations for such food (I think some people think their "free" breakfast needs to be high quality)- but, this food was awful quality. I was actually a little shocked. Because of staffing issues, the entire downstairs was filthy. I've never seen such garbage piled up. They didn't even remove garbage bags so people piled plates 4-5 high on tables (spilling onto the ground) There was no-one to cook, replenish and clean! . It was nobody to clean up. Again the theme of short staffed. Then, not the fault of the property, but also an annoying consideration. It was crowed and there were 3-4 minute waits near the elevators. I'd walk, but the stairwells are emergency use-- they dump you outside and there is no way to enter from the outside and head up to your room. This was a very nice, clean hotel. The staff were probably the nicest I have ever come across. The front desk staff here were very friendly and helpful. Our phone didnt work and they sent someone up immediately to fix it. The valet parking was nice but pricey at $55/ night. The valets were very friendly and helpful. This hotel is a 5 min walk to the GA aquarium so great location. Continental breakfast was great, had plenty of tasty items to choose from and the kitchen staff was constantly on top of replenishing items. Would definitely stay again.

Great, centrally located hotel, right across the street from the Georgia Aquarium, and just a couple minutes to Centennial Park, which has lots of dining options within a couple blocks. The hotel was clean, quiet and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I didn’t care for was the mandatory $55 valet fee.

For the most part my family of four had a good stay at Hyatt House. The front desk staff was friendly, the bartender was fabulous and the pool area and room were clean and maintained. The hotel is also in a very walkable area of downtown Atlanta. The only complaint we had was on our last night (a Friday) our whole family was jolted awake at 2am by very loud music and a dj that was screaming into his mic. We thought there might be some type of event going on in the pool area, but a quick glance out our window proved that to be wrong. The only thing I can think of is that there was a nightclub somewhere right next door to the hotel and they had an outdoor area, or their doors open, letting the whole block experience the club environment. It was awful, but not the hotels fault. Families staying on Friday and Saturday nights should take this into consideration before booking. The music/noise didn’t stop until 3:05 am.

Hyatt House was great. We stayed here for Shaky Knees this year. Only a $10 Lyft to Piedmont Park. The were some great restaurants just a short walk away. Cheesesteaks, coal oven pizza, beer garden. The pool was nice and clean with good seating. The room are updated and good size. And the staff was very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend and a decent price.

Stayed one night to bring my daughter to the aquarium. Location was fantastic. Walkable to aquarium, world of coca cola, and centennial park. Was able to get an early check in for a small fee and was upgraded to a 1 room suite. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was super helpful when we had to evacuate for a fire alarm. Would stay again!

I booked this hotel because i attended a conference at the convention center and from this hotel i only had a 10 minute walk to and from. There are also plenty of restaurants within a 20 minute walk from this hotel. Therefore, this hotel was very convenient to the places I was interested in going to. Plus, the beds were comfortable.

We chose the hotel for its great location near the GA aquarium and walkability to other attractions. The hotel staff were excellent, very helpful and knowledgeable!! Rooms were nice, morning buffet was ok, but could use a few more muffin type additions. Two cons were that being on the 2nd floor there was a lot of street noise. Hotel could use better soundproofing. Also, only valet parking was available and was very expensive.

I have stayed at this property many times. Its a great location to dining and activities like the GA Aquarium, The World of Coca-Cola and a short drive to the botanical gardens and much more. The complimentary breakfast is under par, the morning I was there it was sausage patties, eggs, french toast sticks, grits, bagels, cereal and fruit. The toaster was not toasting well until a guest switched it off of standby mode, then it toasted great. I will stay here again, but will most likely go out and grab breakfast.

I stayed for an overnight trip and it was surprisingly very good. The floors, bed and bathroom were very clean. The bed was comfortable except for the pillows. The breakfast potatoes were the best I’ve had in any hotel. It very well seasoned.

The hotel was fine and the front desk was great. My only complaint is that a hotel shouldn't claim to have an onsite bar/restaurant if it is never open. It was supposed to open at 5 but there was never anyone working. Twice we were told an employee would be right back, but they never materialized.

Most of the staff were very kind and accommodating. The bar/restaurant bartender was rude. It took forever to get our food. She was more interested in chatting with men at the bar than serving us.

The breakfast was the worst I've ever had. Everything was cold. Waffles were hard and cold. Eggs cold. Etc. had to wait an hour for our room to be ready also.

We stayed for 5 days for our family trip. It is super close to lots of activities. The front desk staff was amazing. They were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic. They had French toast one day, waffles one day, and pancakes. They had eggs daily, yogurt, fruit, bagels, cereal. It truly is the best breakfast I have had at a hotel. The only issue we had is the pool. The pool was nasty. There was so much hair and trash in the pool. I saw someone cleaning it one day but it was still dirty!

Nette Bars und Restaurants zu Fuß erreichbar , Hotel hat einen netten Pool und für amerikanische Verhältnisse ein relativ gutes Frühstück mit Joghurt, frischem Obst und leckerem Orangensaft, Die Zimmer sind groß , allerdings schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen , aber sauber .

We booked a 2 queen suite and were pleasantly surprised how clean the room was. The only issue was we were not provided enough towels for the number of people that could stay in the room and had to request more but they came up quickly so zero complaints. Our toilet was a tad bit finicky and didn’t really want to flush so that was definitely not super fun to deal with but overall. The price was average for Atlanta on a Saturday night, parking is a little high for not being covered and not in a super secure lot and there is a lot of parking near by if you don’t want to spend the money but it’s convenient so we pay. We will definitely stay here again

The room was fine, but the rest of the hotel is dirty. The carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The elevators were even worse. The breakfast was very cheap, as the eggs and orange juice in particular weren't good at all. It's not worth the nearly $1,300 for the week that I paid for it, but it isn't totally bad either.

We were there for Dragon Con. The staff was great when we had deliveries. The room was spacious and reasonably priced considering that it was Dragon Con weekend. . The breakfast was decent. It was pretty typical hotel breakfast food, although the eggs were really crumbly. The setting for breakfast was really nice, The noise from the street was bad. Other reviews, mentioned getting a room at a higher level. I'll try that if I go there again. Again, the staff was awesome..
