Had a nice stay at the Pear Tree Inn in August. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was nice. We stayed in a family room which slept 4, one king size bed and 2 singles. Very comfy beds. We watched the eclipse from the brewery also which is a great place just up the road!

I would like to give a better review ,the pub and the location very nice a proper pub but unfortunately the noise is unbearable it was almost 2.30 AM before the customers left and the room is at the front of the pub ! Windows have to be closed and when its hot again not great. So many small things that are not acceptable if your paying for a bed a room only basis then you expect to be able to sleep ! Bed hard and sunken into the frame ,the room needs decorating and the shower room really needs a Deep clean Needs a towel rail a shelf, again just felt uncared for i suppose as long as its bringing in money ! We can only really comment on what we experienced and the Guinness was good and the beer Garden very pleasant ,but my stars reflect the room and please be aware extremely steep steps with a door right at the bottom tight accessibility with a tiny corridor to the bar and access out of the front door i honestly thought if there's a Fire in such a Old building how would you get out ! It felt quite unnerving to be in the building at night ! But the big issue for us was the Noise i really considered going to sleep in the car !!

A great stay in a beautiful location. The staff make you feel really welcome. The room was spacious, smart and comfortable and really quiet at night so slept like a log! Had a couple of drinks at the pub too which is totally charming. They don’t offer breakfast there but there is the option of breakfast at the nearby brewery or the Sun Inn which are both very good. Great value for money and will definitely return!

We stayed for one night as we were visiting Hook Norton Brewery around the corner. We had an amazingly spacious room, complete with a super sized double bed, comfy double sofa, dressing table & chairs, TV & hospitality tray. Lovely large en suite too. The big disappointment was the constant noise from maybe a generator/ refrigerator unit? outside to the rear of the property. This greatly hindered us to be able to fall asleep with much tossing & turning. It was a real shame as the room was lovely.

The village of Hook Norton is lovely. The Pear Tree Inn is a Hook Norton Brewery public house, the room was fabulous, the location central to the Cotswolds, Hook Norton Brewery and Cotswolds Distillery 3 minutes walk and 15 minutes drive, respectively. Not a pub serving food, but that was not a problem. Wonderful gardens and open spaces, definitely good value and we plan to return again on our next trip. Accepts pets, lovely friendly staff, good beer, clean room and super location.
