Great location. Approximately 10 min from the downtown area and less than 5 from a grocery store. Pool was beautiful. The adult pool was too shaded. Gym was small but adequate. The breakfast was great!!! The property was beautiful and the staff could not have been nicer.

Location of the property was good. Apartment was clean with good amenities. Unfortunately, the property requires a lot of upgrades and ongoing maintenance. The pool was missing tiles, grass wasnt mowed, spa didnt work and our balcony gutter was leaking so badly that we couldnt sit on the balcony to enjoy the view that we paid for.

Wow what an amazing property. Stayed in a 2 bedroom ocean front apartment overlooking the water. The photos on their website don’t do justice to this stunningly huge modern apartment. It has the biggest open plan living, 2 massive bedrooms each with its own bathroom and a laundry. There are 3 pool areas, cooked breakfast daily, restaurant& bar area where they can serve you drinks by the pool. You also get free undercover parking. There’s a boardwalk to town ( about 15-20 minute walk) or a closer shopping precinct including Coles about 10 minutes walk in the opposite direction. The Chinese restaurant that’s a 5 minute walk is a MUST do.

Very nice and comfortable appartment. Gym was not usuable because of too much mold and heavy heavy mold smell. We tryid to work out by keeping door open, but smell was too heavy. Really need to re-do gym or refrain for marketing it. Real coffee not included in breakfast (only poor powder like coffee) ... not 4 star 🙄

Great views of the beach! Unfortunately, the room needed basic upkeep. Floors were dirty, feet got black with dirt within a few minutes of walking barefoot. Tiles were not grouted and shifted as you walked over them. This creates a tripping hazard. One tile was even cracked in several places. Toilet lid was not installed properly, was literally just placed over toilet and would come completly off when lifting lid to use toilet. Glass railing appeared as if it had not been cleaned in months. Chrome trimmings next to bath were caked with soap scum. Soiled couch cushions, couch was even missing cushions. Bugs in the bathroom, which has an open shared space with the bedroom. Informed management of issues, they said said they would send someone to clean up. House cleaning never came, engineer fixed the toilet lid quickly. Breakfast was good, but you have to fight the flies off constantly. Adult pool was nice. Almost forgot, fitness center is small and damp, smells as if there are humidity/ventilation issues. Fitness center served as the lobby/entrance for the Spa. Walked right out upon the aroma of mold in the center. Tons of potential at this property... just needs the right team to get it back on track. Spend your hard-earned money at another hotel for the best experience until Mirage can get their operation together.

Although the Mirage is slightly out of town, the location and views from the substantial villa is well worth the compromise. It's a pleasant 25 min stroll along the scenic boardwalk into Airlie town centre or make use of the complimentary shuttle service.

Great apartment with views out over the sea & wonderful sunsets. Shuttle bus was a bonus as its a good 25 min walk into the main st. Would be even better if there was an extra 4 & 6pm run. Parts of the property and the pool is looking a bit tired and neglected so some repairs & maintenance is required. Also do not bother with the on-site restaurant for anything else other than breakfast.

Das Appartement war riesig! Die Aussicht aufs Meer war Top! Gut gelegen, nahe Lagoon und Lebensmittelladen. Die Anlage ist in die Jahre gekommen und braucht generell eine Auffrischung. Das Appartment war nicht richtig Sauber (Staubig). Die Möbel sind abgenutzt. Das Frühstück ist Mittelmass und einiges Personal braucht dringend eine Schulung im Umgang mit den Gästen. Der Pool war leider zu kalt. Das Appartement wurde nicht gereinigt. Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht.

Very clean rooms, pool was lovely and perfect location. Staff were the highlight, extremely friendly and polite. They also went above and beyond for us when we needed help.

The apartment complex has lovely pools and gardens. View of the sea was fantastic. Nice breakfast. Just out of Airlie Beach so caught the courtesy bus during the day and cabs in the evening. The apartment was clean with everything you need plus more. I think we were unlucky though because our 3 bedroom apartment smelt horribly of wet old carpet. Management did not move us after we complained of the stench. We endured the 3 days with all doors & windows open. And it still stunk. Also we ordered a 2 bed deluxe apartment but were put in the 3 bed smelly one. Very disappointed 😔. I don’t know how Mirage can hire out a sub standard apartment. Obviously profits are more important than customer service and satisfaction.

Really enjoyed our stay, room was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean with ocean views - magical.. Only compliants - the very noisy shower screen on opening and closing, maybe the hinge needs replacing, lounge suite very uncomfortable and the whole complex had no water just as we all needed to get ready for a function, but would definitely stay again, loved it.

Beautiful views from the living area and great amount of space in the apartment. Some of the appliances were not working as they should and the carpets, rug and lounge suite were extremely stained and dirty.

The views from the property were absolutely beautiful, and the facilities overall were really nice. Our villa had a private pool, which was lovely, but the water feature was turned off as some guests had complained about the noise — which I thought was a bit of a shame, as it would’ve added to the relaxing atmosphere. The maintenance guy, Sam, was amazing! He was friendly, helpful, and always went out of his way to make sure we were looked after. He gave us great tips on places to visit and things to do, and always greeted us with a smile. On the downside, the villa itself was quite dated and could use a really good clean. There were food marks on the walls, stains on the lounges and curtains, and even a cockroach in our room when we arrived. The windows were also very dirty, though that might be due to being right by the sea. Overall, it’s a beautiful location with great facilities and standout staff like Sam, but the cleanliness and maintenance of the villas could definitely be improved.

The property needs some updates seem to be ageing. This is the third time I've stayed there but this time it was not as clean as before.

Great location, large open plan living, good customer service, however the villa we stayed in (which is very pricey and supposed to be luxury), the carpets were all lifting, stains on the curtains and the upstairs tv didn’t work. To the hotels credit they did swap our TV, but it was replaced with an old school TV that needed an old aerial which made the tv all static-y. I just expected more from the huge prices we paid for such a premium room.

Wow what an amazing property. Stayed in a 2 bedroom ocean front apartment overlooking the water. The photos on their website don’t do justice to this stunningly huge modern apartment. It has the biggest open plan living, 2 massive bedrooms each with its own bathroom and a laundry. There are 3 pool areas, cooked breakfast daily, restaurant& bar area where they can serve you drinks by the pool. You also get free undercover parking. There’s a boardwalk to town ( about 15-20 minute walk) or a closer shopping precinct including Coles about 10 minutes walk in the opposite direction. The Chinese restaurant that’s a 5 minute walk is a MUST do.

Impressed by the size of the 2 bed apmt we booked. Had all the facilities we needed. Lovely view. The only thing I would say we did not enjoy was the mattresses. They were too soft. Someone should take a look into it, even the children found it too soft. Perhaps leave a vacuum also somewhere in the laundry area as its otherwise difficult to keep it clean with sand from the beach and when housekeeping is non existent!

Stayed in the 1 bed executive apartment which was huge. Comfortable bed, 2 toilets, shower, bath, dual vanity, large open plan tv room and kitchen. Bean coffee machine available for use (will have to buy your own beans) and complimentary nespresso pods, tea and milk. Great views across the water and multi-zoned air con. Hit all the expectations in terms of quality. My only gripe is that the in-room plunge pool isnt heated and was an ice-box even with 30+ degree temps outside. This is particularly an issue for the apartments that don't get direct sun on the pool. Solar should be considered because it was effectively unusable. I didn't use the adult's only pool as the all-ages pool was much more enjoyable to be around with the cabanas and general setup. The staff at the Gin Bar were lovely and contributed to a relaxing vibe. The included breakfast has everything you would expect of a buffet but may not cover all possible dietary modifications people require. Free shuttle into town at 1030am and returns at 230pm. $11 cab ride one way or about a 20-30 minute walk. Close enough to the hustle and bustle but far enough away that it's quiet. I would definitely return but will not have a room with a pool again unless it has direct sun or heating.

We had issues with noisy neighbours above us which ruined the stay. There should have been better control of the noise they were making, partying on until the next morning was unacceptable and we couldn't have been the only occupants who were affected.

The property is in a top location with magnificent water views. A lovely walk along the boardwalk to Airlie Beach. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The pools and gym were fantastic. Breakfast was great with plenty of options. Unfortunately we had 'no signal' issues with the TV, which was frustrating while trying to watch a movie. A maintenance person was sent the next day but the problem continued for the rest of our stay. The wifi is intermittent and the phone in the apartment did not work. More options for food after 2pm would of been great as there is no restaurant on site for dinner. Overall a great place and a fabulous holiday.

A shoutout to Mick, the nicest person you will meet. As we arrived early then the check in time, he offered to drive us to Airlie beach and also pick us up back to the Mirage when the room is ready to check in. Also a great job in maintaining the whole complex in an excellent condition. Thank you Mick for your hospitality.

The apartment complex has lovely pools and gardens. View of the sea was fantastic. Nice breakfast. Just out of Airlie Beach so caught the courtesy bus during the day and cabs in the evening. The apartment was clean with everything you need plus more. I think we were unlucky though because our 3 bedroom apartment smelt horribly of wet old carpet. Management did not move us after we complained of the stench. We endured the 3 days with all doors & windows open. And it still stunk. Also we ordered a 2 bed deluxe apartment but were put in the 3 bed smelly one. Very disappointed 😔. I don’t know how Mirage can hire out a sub standard apartment. Obviously profits are more important than customer service and satisfaction.

We thought the room and view were amazing, but the pots, pans and cutlery hadn’t been cleaned between guests. Unfortunately the breakfast was very ordinary, food from the restaurant was poor, the pool was worn with tiles falling off any many areas where they needed replacing. We had an incident with the apartment above us being booked to a bucks party. We raised our concerns with reception after a night of no sleep and was told they had been given one warning and if there was another complaint, they would be evicted. After a second night of no sleep and security not willing to help, we spoke with management the next day and received a text message offering another room rather than them being evicted. At no time did management speak with us or apologise for the inconvenience. We received another text later that day saying they had been evicted. Very disappointing that they didn’t follow through with there one warning rule, and didn’t listen to any of our suggestions to solve the problem.

The unit was spectacular. Spacious and appointed wonderfully. The view of the ocean off of Airlie was spectacular. Had great assistance from Charley at Mirage who was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. A truly great stay in an amazing location!!

The room we originally booked had an issue, with the air con we contacted maintenance they came and wasn’t able to fix the issue while in the room . Reception was very helpful and we received an upgrade to another room . All Staff were very helpful and we had an amazing stay.

The 3 bedroom 3bath villa was huge. It was very roomy for our group of 5. We can not say enough enough about the staff. Every single staff person was very very helpful. The staff was a 10+.

We enjoyed staying at the Mirage. The view from the balcony was very beautiful. Had underground parking. Lifts to the buildings. The food at the restaurant was also good. Nice variety for the buffet. 5 min drive to Airlie lagoon & the shops.

Although the Mirage is slightly out of town, the location and views from the substantial villa is well worth the compromise. It's a pleasant 25 min stroll along the scenic boardwalk into Airlie town centre or make use of the complimentary shuttle service.

Very nice and comfortable appartment. Gym was not usuable because of too much mold and heavy heavy mold smell. We tryid to work out by keeping door open, but smell was too heavy. Really need to re-do gym or refrain for marketing it. Real coffee not included in breakfast (only poor powder like coffee) ... not 4 star 🙄

Nice place, but massively over crowded at breakfast. Not enough tables, total chaos at buffet, staff over worked. Need a bigger area or just don’t let it over book like it was during our stay. I didn’t even bother trying to eat - too hard!

Parts of the property and the pool is looking a bit tired and neglected so some repairs & maintenance is required. The apartments are very spacious and fitted out to a high standard. The staff are friendly and helpful. If you don’t have a car then it’s a little far to walk into airlie beach centre especially if there is a chance of rain. My only gripe is that the included breakfast does not include coffee!!! A beautiful property with the most amazing tropical gardens. Our apartment was very spacious, awesome kitchen, beds extremely comfy , incredible view & even a fantastic laundry. The pools were excellent & the buffet breakfast every morning was fabulous. 10/10, could not fault the property.

Lovely VERY large modern apartment with great views of the bay. Only downside was a fishy smell about the apartment which we were provided with air freshener to periodically spray the air-conditioning unit to try and get rid of it. Toilet basin didnt look too clean with etching on it. Laundry facilities were very useful to refresh clothes half way through our holiday. Lovely VERY large modern apartment with great views of the bay. Only downside was a fishy smell about the apartment which we were provided with air freshener to periodically spray the air-conditioning unit to try and get rid of it. Toilet basin didnt look too clean with etching on it. Laundry facilities were very useful to refresh clothes half way through our holiday. Overall the deluxe room is excellent. Huge, modern and comfortable. The view over the Coral Sea is magnificent. The general facilities need an upgrade. Lots of areas looking worn and in disrepair. Reception staff nice but need to brush up on their local knowledge. No one mentioned there is a bus stop on the main road to go into Main shopping strip, nor mention of the free shuttle from Airlie Beach Hotel which is super convenient. In June, would be good if the pool was slightly heated. Whispers restaurant has excellent food. Ate dinner there most nights. Breakfast is pretty average.
