I enjoyed my stay in this authentic Cusco hotel with an inner lounge/courtyard. It's on a busy pedestrian street just off the Plaza de Armas. The staff was helpful with our luggage while we were hiking to Machu Picchu.

Staffs are very nice, facility is clean, court yard has sofas and hot water with tea available all the time, if you leave early in the morning, staff prepares brown bag breakfast for you to take, the breakfast is simple but nice, you can have omelet, bread, and yogurt.

Amazing experience staying here. Christopher made our stay very pleasant, helped us out with excellent laundry service and transportation to / from the airport. Breakfast included even when we had early activities (lunch to go). Had to leave our luggage in the front desk for the Inca Trail and when we got back our luggage were already placed in our room. Great service by the team and great location! (1 min walk to the main square)

The location of La Casona Real is convenient to the Plaza de Armas. Easy walk to dining, shopping and events at the Plaza. You will need to walk down an alley to get to the hotel, it's not a drive-up entrance for a taxi. Our room was on the 3rd floor, no elevator, not a problem for us. There was no exterior window but that was no problem for us either. The down side was that at night there are night clubs on the streets in front and behind the hotel that literally are going until 6AM! The sound of the music and people yelling was not something we are use to. Our friends stayed on the 1st floor and also had a sound machine and they did not hear the noise we did. The room was comfortable, our bathroom was tight. They did have a hair dryer. Free breakfast with eggs cooked to order. Price was great.

The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The beds are comfortable, the place is clean, and it is just a half a block from Plaza de Armas. We were able to secure airport pickup and drivers. Just note that the prices for the drivers were a bit high. They provide a breakfast that includes cooked eggs. Hot water for tea of fresh coca and mint leaves is available 24/7. This place is a gem.

Muy bien ubicado cerca de la plaza de armas en un callejón muy pintoresco (confunde la imagen que ponen ya q pensé que quedaba sobre la misma plaza de armas con vista a ella pero no, queda en un callejón lateral). Una construcción colonial muy bonita y pintoresca con mucha historia, las habitaciones son cómodas con las limitantes de una construcción tan antigua; pero bien acogedor. Al quedar tan cerca de la plaza de armas hay mucho ruido de personas y fiestas hasta altas horas de la madrugada, si eso te molesta puede ser un punto negativo, inclusive te dan tapones de oidos; en lo personal no nos molestó y dormimos bien igual. El desayuno es algo limitado pero esta bien. Personal muy amable y atento. No hay elevador así que si te toca habitación arriba como a nosotros tienes que subir un juego de escaleras, no big deal.

The location was excellent - very close to Plaza de Armes. Front staff were great. They packaged a breakfast for us and added water for our early morning Rainbow Mountain excursion. Cars could not go down the road by the hotel so we would meet guides at the square. Loved the courtyard for tea and relaxation. The room was comfortable but a little quirky with just a bathroom downstairs and up some creaky wooden stairs to the sleeping quarters, but it all worked. Nice buffet breakfast each morning. Quiet for sleeping even though there was a very busy bar across the cobblestone street.

This is an historic property with a very interesting history. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Cristobal was particularly helpful. The location is very convenient to the main plaza and also several good eateries just outside the door. We had a room on the first floor and there aren't windows. However, this makes the room very soundproof and there is a lovely courtyard right outside the door where we hung out when we weren't sleeping. We found this setup cozy and convenient. They cleaned the room every day and the hot water and water pressure was good. There is coca and other tea available at all times. There is laundry service and luggage storage available. Highly recommend!

Desde a localização excelente até a equipe que trabalha no hotel, tudo foi maravilhoso! Café da manhã feito na hora (muito bom) ou ainda oferecem a alternativa de box caso vc saia cedo para os passeios. Limpeza impecável, tudo sempre muito cheiroso e limpo. Tudo muito confortável, principalmente a cama e o enxoval. Funcionários sempre muito educados, receptivos e solícitos.

The location was amazing! The property is less than a block to the main square in Cusco. Unfortunately, there were some issues during the stay. The water was shut off twice during the week we were there and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling… It was still an okay place to stay in Cusco!

El hotel se encuentra en muy mal estado por tema de humedad y moho por las paredes y techo. No es lo que se publicita. Se encuentra en una zona de marcha y se escucha la música hasta las seis de la madrugada y además suele haber conflictos por la gente que bebe de más. El peor hotel en el que he estado en Cuzco. Lo mejor la atención de las chicas de recepción que las tienen a las pobres para todo: desayuno, recepción, etc.

Very central hotel just off Placa Mayor del Cusco. The hotel has a very cozy interior with balcony’s and old fashion design. Clean rooms, very friendly staff, silent rooms, good beds and decent breakfast. Highly recommended!

Property was clean but not exceptional. I found hair on the bed when i arrived ang again the next day after room service. The stair into the bathroom is hard to maneuver at night. It was also loud most of the night outside. The rooms are not very spund proof

The location is perfect! Easy to find a good restaurant, good cafe, etc. The hotel was nicely decorated but there were many pubs and bars around the hotel. You'll hear the very loud noise until 4-5 am on a weekend night. And If you had bad luck get the room on the 1st floor located near the common area. Another guest will wake you up by a very loud noise by chatting with others since 5 am. However, I love the hotel staff very much. They were so kind, very helpful and super friendly.

Location is superb. Staff members are friendly. But guest rooms need more furnishing. There is basically no place to sit down inside the room. Night stands, table, bathroom countertop are all tiny.

Hotel bello, pulito, con ampie camere, personale molto gentile e con buona colazione. Purtroppo è situato in un vicolo di fronte ad una discoteca e se vi tocca una stanza come la nostra con la finestra che da sulla strada risulta molto difficile riposare bene per la musica alta tutta la notte. Se prenotate chiedete una camera interna

Tive uma ótima experiência no hotel La Casona Real! O quarto em que fiquei era muito bacana, com um espaço confortável e bem organizado. A higiene do ambiente e o serviço de limpeza também merecem destaque — tudo sempre muito limpo e bem cuidado. O café da manhã é honesto, com opções suficientes para começar bem o dia. Um ponto super positivo foi o atendimento da equipe: desde o check-in até o suporte para agendar passeios e a gentileza de preparar o box do café da manhã para os dias em que saímos de madrugada. Tive uma ótima experiência no hotel La Casona Real! O quarto em que fiquei era muito bacana, com um espaço confortável e bem organizado. A higiene do ambiente e o serviço de limpeza também merecem destaque — tudo sempre muito limpo e bem cuidado. O café da manhã é honesto, com opções suficientes para começar bem o dia. Um ponto super positivo foi o atendimento da equipe: desde o check-in até o suporte para agendar passeios e a gentileza de preparar o box do café da manhã para os dias em que saímos de madrugada. The location was excellent - very close to Plaza de Armes. Front staff were great. They packaged a breakfast for us and added water for our early morning Rainbow Mountain excursion. Cars could not go down the road by the hotel so we would meet guides at the square. Loved the courtyard for tea and relaxation. The room was comfortable but a little quirky with just a bathroom downstairs and up some creaky wooden stairs to the sleeping quarters, but it all worked. Nice buffet breakfast each morning. Quiet for sleeping even though there was a very busy bar across the cobblestone street.

This is an historic property with a very interesting history. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Cristobal was particularly helpful. The location is very convenient to the main plaza and also several good eateries just outside the door. We had a room on the first floor and there aren't windows. However, this makes the room very soundproof and there is a lovely courtyard right outside the door where we hung out when we weren't sleeping. We found this setup cozy and convenient. They cleaned the room every day and the hot water and water pressure was good. There is coca and other tea available at all times. There is laundry service and luggage storage available. Highly recommend!

Staff was very attentive, kind and willing to help you in any way and willing to speak English. The rooms and hotels was sparkling clean, great location, breakfast with fresh, fresh juices, bread made in Cusco a chef preparing the eggs as you wish. I want to give special thanks to Cristopher at the front desk, that helped me like a nurse when I got very sick with the altitude, could not walk without getting dizzy. He went out of his way to get me a couple of Diamox, chicken soup, coke...a taxi when time to leave, all throughout my stay. He was always a gentleman.

Amazing experience staying here. Christopher made our stay very pleasant, helped us out with excellent laundry service and transportation to / from the airport. Breakfast included even when we had early activities (lunch to go). Had to leave our luggage in the front desk for the Inca Trail and when we got back our luggage were already placed in our room. Great service by the team and great location! (1 min walk to the main square)

This is such a beautiful property, and an amazing location - so close to the heart of the city. The service was absolutely amazing! We had a very early start one of the days of our stay and the hotel provided a great breakfast to go. I highly recommend La Casona Real!

The location of La Casona Real is convenient to the Plaza de Armas. Easy walk to dining, shopping and events at the Plaza. You will need to walk down an alley to get to the hotel, it's not a drive-up entrance for a taxi. Our room was on the 3rd floor, no elevator, not a problem for us. There was no exterior window but that was no problem for us either. The down side was that at night there are night clubs on the streets in front and behind the hotel that literally are going until 6AM! The sound of the music and people yelling was not something we are use to. Our friends stayed on the 1st floor and also had a sound machine and they did not hear the noise we did. The room was comfortable, our bathroom was tight. They did have a hair dryer. Free breakfast with eggs cooked to order. Price was great.

it is in the downtown of Cusco, Peru. The property is ok but the location is terrible. The 2 nights when we slept there the loudly music, and the awful noise was until 4-5 am. So, so noisy, in the morning we heart shootings and we were terrified, but later we understood that it was from some parade on the plaza. You do not have to delay after 4-5 pm because the drunk people are around, the loudly music, some peed next to the trees...just scary and not safety. Otherwise the staff was helpful, nice, friendly, informative, respectful. The room - fine. Nothing luxury, fancy... No windows to open ( but with this noise around),,,

Det var et skønt ophold, men vi havde svært ved at sove om natten da der ligger en bar/Club lige overfor som spiller virkelig høj musik til klokken 5 om natten. Vinduet på værelset ligger lige overfor vinduet til stedet, og afstanden på den lille gade er virkelig lille.

Room was always tidy and the shower was nice and warm - which was different from some of our other stays in Peru. All the staff were so incredibly nice. And one of the best things was that if you had activities planned early in the morning, they would pack us breakfast to take with us. I’ve never experienced that, and it was so generous!

I hope the owner sue the bars for harming their business and force them to add noise cancellation materials in their walls, because the hotel and staff are flawless and kind. They don’t deserve losing customers because of their loud neighbours.

Wonderful hotel! Right off the main square, Plaza De Armas. Convenient location next to plenty of restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and tour pickups. If you have early excursions booked in the morning the hotel staff will pack your breakfast to go. Staff were amazing and I'd like to shout out the front desk staff for their exceptional service.

Desde a localização excelente até a equipe que trabalha no hotel, tudo foi maravilhoso! Café da manhã feito na hora (muito bom) ou ainda oferecem a alternativa de box caso vc saia cedo para os passeios. Limpeza impecável, tudo sempre muito cheiroso e limpo. Tudo muito confortável, principalmente a cama e o enxoval. Funcionários sempre muito educados, receptivos e solícitos.

Prime location right off of the central Plaza de Armas! Staff was friendly, helpful and professional and even gave us a snack bag the morning we checked out at 4:30am. Only downside was the discoteca/club across the street and the noise. The hotel gave us earplugs, but it wasn’t the quietest place to stay.

All was good but no checking into the room early. We were exhausted from a three-leg flight and had to wait 5 hrs in their (nicely decorated) lobby but it was extremely cold. The breakfast room was the same - freezing! They had a heater but didn't turn it on. Just be prepared for doing everything with layered clothing plus a warm coat on.
