This property is a bit deceptive as it’s just a nice room nothing else… simple and honest bkfast, fruit juice, melon, tea and coffee, no hot food. The room is spacious but a bit noisy when others guests arrive late at night, or the staff comes to prepare bkfast. The shutters don’t keep the room dark enough for a good night sleep. A bit pricey for very little offered. The internet connection is very bad, had to use roaming during my whole 3 nights stay in order to work.

The room was clean and had character, but could use some sprucing up (broken tiles, etc). The biggest issue was that the mini fridge did not work (and smelled moldy). Good area, friendly staff. Mediocre breakfast with great fresh OJ. Note: I booked a taxi (to the airport) through the hotel. I was told it was €35 cash. Arrive at the airport and driver had no change. None. So I gave her a 50 and received nothing back. What if I’d only had 100 euro bill? You need to advise your guests of this or speak with the taxi service.

It doesn’t worth 4 stars at all, it’s like a hostel, also the main door downstairs is closed, i ring the bell but it was off, they put a number on the door to call which is not convenient for a tourist who doesn’t have a local number to call. I asked a guy in the street to call them from his phone. Honestly it doesn’t worth the price.

Casa do Príncipe es un Bed and Breakfast bien localizado enfrente del parque del príncipe Real lugar concurrido y de fácil acceso a la parte histórica de la ciudad. Hay cerca buenos restaurantes y un mirador excelente. En la página web hay cierta confusión porque parece Hotel y no lo es, dice en letras chiquitas Brady and Breakfast, no tiene un Lobby y en la puerta de entrada es confuso ya que es una puerta antigua a un edificio antiguo de departamentos. Si llegas de noche además debes de avisar porque no habría nadie en el lugar para entregarte las llaves, cierran a las 9 pm. El desayuno es suficiente pero no muy variado y tiene un tiempo limitado de 8 a 10 am solamente. La habitación bien, la experiencia intermedia a buena. Te ofrecen transporte al aeropuerto por 35 euros, pero mejor utiliza una plataforma, sale menos de la mitad.

The property is located about 15 minute walk from Rato metro station on flat incline — the sidewalks are cobbled so need to watch your step. A negative to the place is the lack of lighting in the stairwell and entrance lobby to building; the stairs are darker wood and hard to negotiate with the curve without good lighting. The place next door is undergoing renovations so noisy from that aspect but can’t be helped. The breakfast is adequate with same selections daily with a rotation of bread and pastries. The shower has good water pressure and gets hot quickly - watch don’t get scalded. Nice to be able to people watch from room to the park and see daily life of the city. Would recommend stay here.

It was approx a 25 min from the airport and we booked a transfer from the hotel. Our ride was right there when we left the airport. The hotel was very nice and clean. They had an elevator or stairs. The brft was good with nice dining dishes. It was a 30 min walk to the cruise shift and all downhill. There were plenty of restaurants and a park across the way with a coffee bar or drink if you would like. Very safe in the neighborhood! A lovely stay!

Love the location. The building needs a lot of work. The room we were in reminded me of my college years extremely basic and small, both night tables very unstable and the lamps were cheap. We couldn’t watch TV due to the internet being so poor. The bed sheets were not changed in 9 days. The fun we had shopping , enjoying the food and the night life made the trip worthy. The picture shown In their website is not even near of what we got.

We loved our stay at Caso do Principe and took advantage of their transportation from the airport and from the hotel to the cruise terminal. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Our room was clean and beautiful with a balcony. Lots of restaurants in the area. We especially enjoyed the park across the street and the restaurant located in the park. Great food and so convenient. Definitely recommend!

Very fun ambiance and clean, historic looking rooms. Location is also awesome with lots of fun bars and restaurants around. Comfortable beds and large rooms, we also had an awesome view from ours with large floor to ceiling windows and a balcony. Lost a star because there is no soundproofing between rooms, we could hear guests in other rooms and people walking in the hallway. We could also see light from the hallway through the door, which wouldn’t normally be an huge problem but it was on some kind of motion sensor that kept getting activated so it would come on and off every 2 minutes. Included breakfast was also pretty mediocre, but not a big deal to us.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The room had a lovely view of the park across from us and we could hear live music being played at the park. Was truely a great stay and experience. The rooms are gorgeous if you appreciate character, not your standard boring modern room.

It is a great location, overall very pleasant experience....until we were abruptly woken up 7:30 AM by loud construction! It was a true ensemble of hammers, drills and power saws!!! We expected a warning or at least a discount but they did not agree to ANY concessions or adjustments in price. They said it was the next building, really it's the same building that they share a wall. They didn't think it was a problem, yet they took down their own plate collection in fear of them being knocked over from the noise vibrations, ridiculous!!!

This is an old Palace turned into a hotel. The hotel is central and near to everything. The room was very large and clean and had everything you needed. The staff were fantastic and friendly. This is highly recommended.

The experience in this hotel Was fantastic!!! Everything was great . From location and staff , I can’t say enough! Breakfast was nice and Antonio was always there to help us with questions and reservations. The staff preparing breakfast was super flexible and always willing to help.

The experience in this hotel Was fantastic!!! Everything was great . From location and staff , I can’t say enough! Breakfast was nice and Antonio was always there to help us with questions and reservations. The staff preparing breakfast was super flexible and always willing to help.

Absolutely beautiful hotel! And the customer service was outstanding! They stayed late for us since our flight came in very late. Also helped us get a taxi to the airport that accepted credit card. Very helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Lisbon.

Antonio was amazing and very helpful with our airline issue and got us a room in the building next door since his place was booked and arranged for our driver to and from the airport.

We had an absolutely wonderful post-cruise stay at Casa do Principe! This was our second stay here in three years and we look forward to returning! We are talking classical old-world charm here, a taste of royal elegance, high ceilings, hardwood floors and (be sure to look up) ceilings that are works of art! We enjoyed a very nice breakfast in a very charming room! The location was great ... a lovely park across the street and a 20-25 minute walk to city center or the water front, never mind the hills / down out the door, uphill on your return! The staff is outstanding, especially Antonio at the check-in desk! He greeted us upon our arrival and was most accommodating, answering all of our questions and offering guidance -- all things Lisbon!

The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was basic. The entry to the b&b was rough and hallways weren't as clean as they could be. The photos were somewhat deceptive. But the staff were welcoming and helpful.

The rooms are very nice and you almost feel like you are part of history by staying in this hotel. The breakfast is pretty average. You’re better off getting something to eat elsewhere. Other than that, everything was good.

Very nice B&B ideally located in the quieter part of Lisbon but still close to good restaurants and bars, the botanical gardens, etc. Our suite was very large and comfortable. Their is a sitting area, huge bed. We had some renovations going on next door but it did not bother us as we visited the city all day. Joao and his colleague were very helpful with restaurant suggestion, taxi, etc. We would stay there again. Breakfast choice is fine but the breakfast room needs to be cleaned up faster and fruit flies removed. room

Die Unterkunft liegt in der 1. Etage eines Altbaus. Das hat auf jeden Fall seinen Charme, bringt aber auch quietschende Böden und alte Fenster mit sich. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber nicht überragend. Immerhin gibt es frisch gepressten Orangensaft und jeden Tag 1 Sorte Obst (Honigmelone, Ananas o.ä.)

Property is in a fantastic location and the staff is really friendly. The rooms are grand, however there was a lot of obvious mold on the ceiling in our bathroom. Breakfast was a bit disappointing with not much on offer, and flies all around the food that was out. Luckily, there's plenty of great options nearby for food. I'd stay again, just for the location and nice view from the room though

Great location. Just a 9 min walk from Bairro Alto. Loved the square directly opposite the hotel which contains a park, mini market and a small bar serving coffee and alcohol. Room was a little more basic than expected but still fine. Bathroom was very spacious and the shower was nice and hot. Staff were lovely and very informative and made us feel welcome.

I had a lovely stay at Casa Príncipe and would happily recommend it. The B&B is clean, well maintained, and everything was in good condition. The only small addition that would have made the room even more comfortable would be a kettle for making tea or coffee. The staff really made the stay special. Christina at the front desk was incredibly warm and welcoming, and she kindly arranged an early breakfast for me on the morning of my flight, which was greatly appreciated. The housekeeping team were also consistently friendly and polite. The location is fantastic, right by the park and within easy reach of everything. If your room overlooks the park, you can enjoy the live music in the evenings, which creates a lovely atmosphere. If you prefer peace and quiet, the soundproof windows do a great job of blocking out the noise when closed. There were just a couple of minor inconveniences. The charging points were in slightly awkward locations, which is probably due to the character of the older building. Also, during my stay the Wi-Fi and TV weren’t working. Neither issue spoiled my visit, but it would be nice to see them resolved. Overall, this is a charming B&B in an excellent location with genuinely caring staff, and I’d happily stay here again.
