Aldebaran - Uthyrning Costa Blanca med privat pool

We have recently returned from a 2 week holiday to the beautiful Moraira. The villa is in a perfect position , on a quiet street , literally a 5 minutes walk to a great beach bar , and then a 15 minute walk into Moraira . There are numerous restaurants and bars 5 mins from the villa . We do villa holidays every year and we are a little disappointed this year . We knew the villa space was only the top of the villa but the bottom of the villa looked very shabby and dirty , cobwebs at the windows. The first impressions were upsetting. The villa was clean but in need of abit of tlc. The pool is great and the outside kitchen area very useful . A fridge down there would be fab as it’s a walk up to the kitchen to restock drinks . We had a great holiday overall , the villa a great base .

The location was fantastic, but photos were very misleading. The lounge area was great. The outside area was very tatty and has not been cared for and cleaned. The locks on both the side gate and main gate were very difficult to open and need maintenance. The shower leaked all over the shower room floor. The taps were covered in limescale and had not been thoroughly cleaned. The satellite TV did not work (cables not plugged in and the receiver did not have a mains plug) After staying at a beautiful clean and cared for property the week before in calpe, this villa was definitely not worth the money we paid in comparison.

The villa was well located within 5 mins walk of bars at androgo and a 10 min walk from the new Mas y Mas supermarket, 25 mins to the centre of town The villa was clean, spacious and secure. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was that there were no 'extras' on arrival as weve had in previous villas - would have been good to at least have had a washing up sponge and liquid and some hand wash. We ended up also buying dishwasher tablets and coffee filters all of which we left behind having only used a few. Otherwise a great stay, thanks
