We had a great stay in the Captain’s Quarters at Hall House. The room was clean and the perfect location for a weekend in Dahlonega. We loved being able to walk to restaurants and the shops in the downtown square. The only issue we had was that we arrived at a very busy time and the parking lot behind the hotel was completely full which meant we had to park farther away. We didn’t end up checking in until later when a parking space opened up since we didn’t want to carry our bags too far. Overall, this room was awesome for a night!

Michael, the manager was fantastic. Organized and responsive. The property couldn't be more central to everything in Dahlonega. If you are looking for glam, this may not be your spot. Hall House is quirky and vintage, which was what we signed up for! We stayed in the Captain's Quarter and it is big. It has a little sitting room, as well as bedroom and ensuite bathroom. If interested, there is a claw foot tub in the bedroom. Heat works well, even with it set at low, we opened windows and cranked the ac to sleep comfortably ( in Feb.). That being said, we'd definitely stay again bc of uniqueness and convenience to downtown.

What a lovely place. The Big Room was perfect. The decor and set up was amazing. The screened balcony porch was exactly what we needed to relax after our busy day. There is plenty of seating and comfy porch blankets to snuggle with too. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful place with us.

The Hall House was located on the square of Dahlonega. That day was Art in the Park and live music across the street. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent and we enjoyed eating on the balcony for dinner and brunch. The room is best suited for younger folks because there are two steps getting to the living room. The bed is very high. Our room was on the second floor, but the staff took our suitcases up and down the stairs. The screened porch is excellent. The bathroom has a walk in shower, is roomy and has plenty of excellent linens. Dahlonega is a lovely town with interesting events and beautiful countryside and of course, the wineries.

The room was ok, but certainly not what I would expect for $266/night. There was old-building charm, but also windows stuffed with paper towels to keep out the draft--not indicative of a well-maintained space. Overall looked worn out, although everything was clean and in working order. One suggestion I would make is that since a main feature of the room was a soaking tub, supply bubble bath since most people typically don't pack any! Probably will choose a different hotel when returning to Dahlonega unless the price is drastically slashed.

Clean and comfortable! Easy to find with parking on site! We stayed in the Captains Quarters, even though this was off the main square the room was very quiet! The bed and pillows were very comfortable! Mike was wonderful to work with and was available when needed. Will definitely be back!

Very charming historic property. Property was perfectly located in the main square within walking distance of everything needed for a great weekend stay. The room was very clean, and a good size. Our room was the "Big Room" which had more space and a screened in back balcony. I would recommend this room for the extra space and larger size. The staff was very accommodating and all though there isn't a "front desk" they were very accessible. Security and parking was excellent. I would highly recommend booking a weekend! Shane

We stayed in the Trumpet Monkey room and it was great! super clean, comfy, cozy and had a very antique feeling with all the modern amenities you’d come to expect. definitely a great place to stay when visiting Delonegah!

We stayed in Sara’s room and found it to be very comfortable, quiet and clean. We loved our stay in this historical hotel, on the city square, making it very convenient to walk for shopping and dining. We enjoy staying at historical locations and this one did not disappoint. After doing more research on the building’s history - I was happy to see that they’ve done their best to keep the historical integrity of the building intact. Thank you for a great weekend and we plan on visiting again soon!

We had the Vineyard room and enjoyed how the room felt vintage. Just be aware that this means the floor is very creaky and definitely not level, but it is a cozy room. Overall the stay was good since the location was very convenient, however the noise level was pretty bad. The noise level from the restaurant the hotel shares a building with was cleaning up well past 11 pm and the noise level in this room was particularly bad. Then, at 2 am someone else came into the restaurant and made even more noise. Finally, the restaurant will start preparing around 7-8 before opening. Just something you should be aware of ahead of time since it's just about impossible to get a full night's sleep.

The BEST location! We went for a mother-daughter getaway and Hall House was perfect! Day Spa across the street for spa time. Lots of good restaurants within a 1-2 block radius. Cute boutique shops right in the same area! We also did a wine tour and it picked up right in the back of the hotel! Never have to drive anywhere if you don't want to. The Trumpet Monkey Room has an amazing jetted tub too! Only negetive was noise from the road and squeaky floors but the location advantages definitely outway any concerns about the noise!

We stayed in the Big Room and it was well worth the up cost for us as we were staying multiple days and could spread out. The room is fantastic and the bathroom large with real towels not small pieces of cloth to try to dry with. Extra make up mirror with stool even made it feel more like home. The outside seating area is on the back of the hotel, not the square but it was a great space to visit and not be cramped in a room. They texted us when our room was ready on check in day. The only slight drawback is the attached restaurant. If you are early to bed it might be a little loud depending who the customers are. They do close at 10 I believe. I used ear plugs and was great. Wonderful location to be able to walk everyplace and even just sit on the square people watching.

Room was easy to find and had plenty of space to move around. We loved the original feel it had. Also the proximity to everything downtown was fantastic. Pros- Space, Shower size (big), bathing tub Cons- Toilet space was tiny, noisy bed, wifi REALLY struggled

We have stayed at many "historic" hotels and we have visited Dahlonega often. I chose this hotel for location. Note there are many other optons clsose by. We have stayed in several B&B's in the area. We had the Vineyard room which is closest to the Bourbon ST Grill which shares the building. The outdoor seating for the Grill extends past the window in the room. We were fortunate-- cold weekend so no late night dining. The room was clean and had appropriate amenties. It was historic. Could seen daylight between the original plank floor. Bed was very uncomfortable. We prefer harder beds, but this seemed like sleeping on the floor with a ridge in the middle. Good news--Easy in, easy out. We do not regret booking because it did for us what we wanted to do-- be in downtown. But we will not book it again.

The hotel is conveniently located right in the town square so all of the activities are within a close walk. It is in a historic building, so both the facilities and amenities reflect that and would not be comparable to a newer, luxury hotel. Check-in with convenient but contactless and we never saw anyone associated with the hotel during our entire two day stay. My only complaint - and it's a big one - is that the bed and mattress was terribly uncomfortable. I realize that bed comfort is very much in the eye of the beholder, but unless you like a very firm - and lumpy - mattress, you will not be happy with the mattress in Sarah's room. Hall House Hotel is always our selection when staying in Dahlonega. Directly on the square it is the perfect location to stroll around town. They never disappoint us. The rooms are phenomenal, nicely decorated, spacious, comfortable beds. The owner, Mike, is superb to work with. Check in is super easy. He is readily available if needed.

Clean and comfortable! Easy to find with parking on site! We stayed in the Captains Quarters, even though this was off the main square the room was very quiet! The bed and pillows were very comfortable! Mike was wonderful to work with and was available when needed. Will definitely be back!

Michael, the manager was fantastic. Organized and responsive. The property couldn't be more central to everything in Dahlonega. If you are looking for glam, this may not be your spot. Hall House is quirky and vintage, which was what we signed up for! We stayed in the Captain's Quarter and it is big. It has a little sitting room, as well as bedroom and ensuite bathroom. If interested, there is a claw foot tub in the bedroom. Heat works well, even with it set at low, we opened windows and cranked the ac to sleep comfortably ( in Feb.). That being said, we'd definitely stay again bc of uniqueness and convenience to downtown.

The Hall House was located on the square of Dahlonega. That day was Art in the Park and live music across the street. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent and we enjoyed eating on the balcony for dinner and brunch. The room is best suited for younger folks because there are two steps getting to the living room. The bed is very high. Our room was on the second floor, but the staff took our suitcases up and down the stairs. The screened porch is excellent. The bathroom has a walk in shower, is roomy and has plenty of excellent linens. Dahlonega is a lovely town with interesting events and beautiful countryside and of course, the wineries.

The BEST location! We went for a mother-daughter getaway and Hall House was perfect! Day Spa across the street for spa time. Lots of good restaurants within a 1-2 block radius. Cute boutique shops right in the same area! We also did a wine tour and it picked up right in the back of the hotel! Never have to drive anywhere if you don't want to. The Trumpet Monkey Room has an amazing jetted tub too! Only negetive was noise from the road and squeaky floors but the location advantages definitely outway any concerns about the noise!

We had a great stay in the Captain’s Quarters at Hall House. The room was clean and the perfect location for a weekend in Dahlonega. We loved being able to walk to restaurants and the shops in the downtown square. I stayed at the Hall House previously and enjoyed a lovely room. This time, however, my husband and I were in a room where people were dining outside our windows! I was very uncomfortable with people outside our bathroom and bedroom windows. There were curtains and blinds but it still didn't excuse the fact that others were right outside our windows.

In the room it would be awesome to have luggage racks at least two in the room area and one in bathroom! I had to set my things on the chairs and I didn’t prefer to do that! It was an awesome historical building! Would be great if the description told me that my room would be right in the middle of Bourbon St Grille- my room windows were right up against diners- I could hear them talking! The good parts outweighed the above!

This particular room, The Vineyard, has close proximity to the outdoor 2nd floor restaurant balcony and it was a bit loud, as they put the chairs up at night, around 9:30. We had the Vineyard room and enjoyed how the room felt vintage. Just be aware that this means the floor is very creaky and definitely not level, but it is a cozy room. Overall the stay was good since the location was very convenient, however the noise level was pretty bad. The noise level from the restaurant the hotel shares a building with was cleaning up well past 11 pm and the noise level in this room was particularly bad. Then, at 2 am someone else came into the restaurant and made even more noise. Finally, the restaurant will start preparing around 7-8 before opening. Just something you should be aware of ahead of time since it's just about impossible to get a full night's sleep.

The big room at the Hall house was fantastic! The pictures did not do it justice! We had such a pleasant surprise when we found the beautiful sunroom attached. Such a wonderful eclectic feel with the decor and style. Loved feeling like we stepped back in time. The room had so much space and was decorated to feel like you were staying in a friend’s home. The location couldn’t be better as well! Easy contactless check in and the Bourbon restaurant on site was delicious. Definitely will be back!

The Piano Room was really neat with the unique decor of assorted antiques, fireplace with candles, and an old upright piano above the bed headboard!!! The spacious bathroom was more modern with a huge open shower offering three separate shower heads, a large triangular tub, private toilet area, and large sink area. While the lighting was not as bright as one might expect, the many lamps and light fixtures were very appropriate and adequate for the design and style of the property. Easy and convenient access to the many downtown shops and restaurants just a block away. A very relaxing evening while enjoying a quiet sunset with a glass of wine on the front porch overlooking a park accross the street. Definitely worth the stay as we look forward to returning to Dahlonega.
