We had a wonderful two night stay for my boyfriend’s birthday this weekend! The room was truly such a cozy, warm oasis to escape the snowy weather. The room was clean, had all the extra stuff we needed (kitchen utensils, towels, etc.) and the bed was very comfortable. The star of the show was the hot tub in the room, we LOVED being able to jump in whenever we wanted without having to leave the cabin. We will definitely be back!

They even had coffee and hot chocolate. The fire place was a nice touch as well. We were so close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again as well as recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Estes Park area.

She was extremely helpful and accommodating. The cabin itself was impeccable and incredibly comfortable, providing a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the highlights of my stay was the hot tub right next to the bed, which was the ideal spot to unwind and relax.. The addition of a charming chimney in the room added an extra touch of coziness, making the atmosphere truly magical. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with outstanding service, this cabin is the place to be! I would give it a 10 out of 5 stars if I could! The owners are very friendly and down to earth. The room was very nice especially the hot tub! I really appreciated having silverware and dishes already there. I definitely recommend staying here!

We absolutely loved Mountain Shadows and hope to stay here again when we're back in Estes Park. The cabin was conveniently located near Rocky Mountain National Park and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, kitchen and a hot tub. Pam was very helpful and gave us great recommendations. I highly recommend staying here!

Very great place! Haven't stayed at a place this cared for and well kept in a while! It's clear that the owners have poured their heart and soul into this place, and have made sure to be involved at every level to make sure things are exceeding expectations. My expectations were surely exceeded and their friendliness and homely touches were not unnoticed. It was very nice to actually have everything we needed! Utensils, dish soap, trash in the kitchen, extra water bottles... These are typically things always forgotten at other places... But not here!

Peaceful and private yet close to the park entrance and restaurants, etc. Hosts were helpful with recommendations. Then there were the deer that hang out in the yard as well as elk nearby.

The cabin was conveniently located near Rocky Mountain National Park and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, kitchen and a hot tub. Pam was very helpful and gave us great recommendations. I highly recommend staying here!

Loved our stay. Very quiet. About a 15 minute drive to downtown for shopping. Great dining recommendations made by our host. We were very impressed with our cabin. A bit of luxury with wood cabin feel.

This was our first time at this property. I was pleasantly surprised. It was so cozy and clean. I love the hot tub inside the cabin. The room was immaculately clean. They even had coffee and hot chocolate. The fire place was a nice touch as well. We were so close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again as well as recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Estes Park area.

Peaceful and private yet close to the park entrance and restaurants, etc. Hosts were helpful with recommendations. Then there were the deer that hang out in the yard as well as elk nearby.

We absolutely loved Mountain Shadows and hope to stay here again when we're back in Estes Park. The cabin was conveniently located near Rocky Mountain National Park and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, kitchen and a hot tub. We had a wonderful stay in this cozy cabin. The location was perfect, and the hot tub was a huge bonus. We would definitely stay there again if we get to go back to Estes Park!

The location is very close to RMNP. Not sure how the property is listed as a resort, just does not have any resort type amenities. The property is overpriced for what you get. An iron & ironing board would be useful.

The cabin was so nice. It was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a perfect addition. Check in was smooth and easy. It was a wonderful stay and we would gladly stay there again.

We really enjoyed staying at Mountain Shadows resort. The cabin was very clean and had everything you needed. It was very small which is the only complaint I had. Very cozy.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Rocky Mountain National park. The property is very convenient to the park. I wouldn’t call this a resort but more a collection of cabins. The surrounding yard is fairly rough and cabins are older but well maintained inside. Nice to have a hot tub in the unit but it does make it a bit humid and warm. There was a in window air conditioner that kept temperature in line. Bed was hard as were the pillows. Small kitchen with only a few plates and silverware. Check in is by a code on the door, never encountered anyone for reception, not even sure there is a reception area. Tv was hard to use and had crummy picture. Nice gas fireplace with two chairs. Overall only fair accommodation for the price. There are lots of options in the area with better surroundings and accommodations .
