I stayed here for a little over a month before I was able to move into a house. All of the women were super friendly and sweet. There were a couple of guys that worked the front desk that weren’t too friendly. They were always looking down at their phones or in the back. When you tried to ask for help, they wouldn’t even greet you or look up at you when they responded. Made me feel like I was an inconvenience for existing in their presence. The treadmills and one of the elevators didn’t work the entire time I was there. The hotel has satellite tv, but most of the channels wouldn’t come in the majority of my stay. The side doors were supposed to be locked for extra security, but they weren’t. I realize most of this is “first world problems”, but I do think some members of the staff could benefit from additional hospitality training.

Beds and pillows where horrible, furniture was torn and stained in the room and in the lobby. Pool needed attention, it was green looking. Breakfast was cold the eggs and Canadian bacon. Breakfast area was clean, and the staff at breakfast was very friendly. Outside the front doors needed lots of attention.

Staff was amazing and super friendly. Hotel itself was a bit run down. The size of our room was great. The cleanliness in the room could have been better. The couch and chair for the desk had several stains on them. The silverware in the drawer had food on it and there were crumbs in the kitchen drawers. I ended up running to the store to buy my.own cleaner and wiping everything down. Hot tub was also not working, when I asked about it the staff said it "should" be working. I usually love Home 2 Suites and stay in them often, but I would not go back to the San Angelo location.

We stayed from a Wednesday to Sunday morning. My room was cleaned one time. We had to ask multiple times for toilet paper and for towels. The pool was closed for “cleaning” but never opened. Would not recommend staying.

Not as clean as I would have liked. Floor in the elevator was sticky and dirty. Looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time. The door going into the room was dirty with pealing paint. The room itself was okay, but cord on the iron was damaged to the point of seeing the copper wires, and the soap dispenser in the shower was off the wall and just sitting on the floor of the shower. Just seemed like a lot of little things that could be tidied up and it would be a nice place.

This hotel was one of the dirtiest places I have ever had to stay. We were only in town for one night for a college VB game. The guy at the front desk was rude upon arrival. And oddly, it was almost as if he was trying to upset. Maybe he was having a bad day. Whatever his behavior has become the norm and easily excusable. However the hallway walls and carpet gross. The room was worse. The silverware and plate were dirty and not just a little spot. They still had food on them. The plastic coffee cups that are usually prewrapped were all used and stacked under the coffee pot. It was the grossest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. However the shower was nice and hot with excellent water pressure. That’s the only positive I can come up with.

Pet dirty carpeted rooms lights didnt work main vanity and lamp by the bed. Staff seemed unconcerned besides an automated text?? Asked for late check out and gave us a hour yet room service was knocking at 11Am checkout time!! Check in 3PM. Checkout 11AM IF you love dogs in the bed this might work for you! Anyways wont be back.

The room was not clean whatsoever. Thankfully I bought Clorox wipes and wiped everything down. The wipes were black after wiping down the counters and toilet seat. This is the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. For a Hilton I was really surprised at the level of uncleanliness and I was highly disappointed.

Outdated hotel, very dirty. Rooms were gross. Had a sliding door for the bathroom door, but the handle was broken and it did not shut all the way. Cushions on the couch in the room were ripped. Breakfast area was very dirty. Wouldn't stay there again.

The property was very clean, room was excellent, spacious and very comfortable. The staff, particularly Felix, was so helpful and courteous. The king bed was incredible but the pull out sofa was not in very good shape and was not conducive to a good night's sleep, thin and the feet were higher than the head.

The room was very nice. The staff was very courteous. The beds were very comfortable . The big issue we has was the people above us were very noisy late into the night. The floors allowed sound to travel easily through.It didn't make for a great nights sleep. The other, little thing, was the there was no cord on the phone so we couldn't call the front desk!

I booked & paid using my hotels.com app. When we arrived, check in was smooth. We go to our room only to find that it was never cleaned! It was filthy. So we go back down and tell her and she assigns us a different room and it was clean. Breakfast was okay but for the price, could’ve been better. Service was great, room was comfortable. My only issue was I was charged an extra night on my card that I used for incidentals. I noticed it on my credit card statement and called them immediately only for them to be in denial of it. I called back a few days later to speak to a manager but was told they were unavailable and assured me they would return my call, I've been waiting 6 weeks now. So, please be aware of your room charges. You will lose money and not have it refunded.

Was told room was not ready early around 1pm and I was okay with that because 3pm is check in. Then we returned at 2:45pm and there were 4 families waiting to get a room. I asked if the room was ready and they said no. I then asked if it would be ready by 3pm and she said “I hope.” Magically at 3 pm ALL rooms became available at the same moment. Lastly, when we opened the room door we were treated to the a smell that seemed like a “Wet Dog,” plus the bed was not made properly (Seems like they are rushing and maybe understaffed). I would never come back to this location and recommend that they do a better cleaning job.

Was told room was not ready early around 1pm and I was okay with that because 3pm is check in. Then we returned at 2:45pm and there were 4 families waiting to get a room. I asked if the room was ready and they said no. I then asked if it would be ready by 3pm and she said “I hope.” Magically at 3 pm ALL rooms became available at the same moment. The welcome staff was excellent, especially Amber. Coffee is the best ive had at any hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean, beds are really comfortable. Our new place to stay while traveling to San Angelo.

My issue is with breakfast - they weren’t in a hurry to set it up or refill things…they didn’t have coffee for 1.5 hr at breakfast time! The lady working front desk/breakfast was wearing a bonnet and a robe on top of her clothes (um…odd) and had quite an attitude when people inquired about coffee.

Our room was super spacious with a kitchenette (including a dishwasher, which I was super impressed with). I did not like not receiving my digital key through the app, but the staff was friendly when I checked in. We also had a slight issue with the bathroom, pocket door not closing all the way, but again the hotel employee was very responsive & helpful fixing the problem. The hotel offered breakfast items & we were able to check out on the app. There are restaurants nearby if you prefer dining out.

I prefer Home2 Suites for travel stays, they are well equipped, quiet, clean and comfortable. I like the fact that they are all setup the same with a very "User Friendly" Format. The San Angelo Property was exactly as I described above...PLUS Friendly, Helpful People on Staff.

The front desk staff were cordial, the manager was not attentive and polite when I asked her a question. The food was pretty good. My daughter and I were in town for a baby shower, just a quick overnight stay however on the day we checked out (Sunday 9-13-2026) as my daughter was getting ready in the bathroom in Room 212 brushing her hair when something hard and metal smacked her in the head. Needless to say she was bit freaked out and we had no idea what the metal thing was until we looked up and discovered that it was the covering for the sprinkler system. We did inform the front desk what happen at that time as well as when we checked out with the promise for that gal that someone would be calling and it is now Sept 16th and I have yet to receive a call/email or anything, just an extra change of 100$ (which I have to say when I checked in I was told it was for incidentals & it would go back to my account within a day or so of checking out so I assuming that I am being charged for their hotel falling apart). Sadly I can not recommend this particular hotel as at this point they have showed that it does not matter if a customer gets hurt on their property through no fault of the customers they will do nothing but charge you as they say how "sorry that this happened and it how completely unacceptable it is.

Truly a West Texas accommodation. Clean, decent rooms, but very outdated. Appeared old and in need of remodeling. AC, on high, was barely blowing but cooled the room by later in the evening. When we first arrived, the lobby smelled like a wet dog, but later that evening it was much better. Excellent staff. Very friendly, professional and accommodating. Probably will not stay here again though.

The cushions on the sofa were noticeably stained, and the office chair was in poor shape. The air conditioning unit made a whining sound and the vent in the bathroom squeaked lordly. I would not stay at this location action again and it’s questionable if I’d stay at another Home 2 Suites in the future.
