Hampton Inn Bainbridge

Good place to stay. This was our second time staying here for a softball tournament.

I booked the property for my family and I to attend my aunt's funeral, however, we were looking forward to enjoying the pool while we were in town visiting (from Miami). Needless to say, the pool was drained and not in use so that was a big disappointment for everyone, especially my 5- and 8-year-old boys. When we got to the room, we noticed that two of the pillowcases on the pillows were dirty, like someone had stepped on them or something, the coffee in the pots in the lobby was cold, we stayed in room 327, the water in the tub drained out extremely slow, this just wasn't a pleasant stay at all. I've stayed here a couple of times before and had no issues, but this stay was totally different, I was very disappointed.

The rooms were dirty, the 1st being worse than the 2nd. The 1st staff member was rude and got mad at me for complaining and never got back with me or moved me to another room like I requested. The 2nd girl was super nice and accommodating as well. Quickly moved me and even called to make sure this room was better for me. The pool was closed, that was NOT noted when I made the reservations. What water was present was green and you could see that they attempted to paint the pool but painted over all the leaves at the bottom of the pool. The bed sheets had not even been changed from the last guest and clearly the bathroom had not been cleaned either. Nothing in the 1st room had been cleaned. I also requested a handicap room and was not given that until I told the 2nd girl about that request. The 1st girl said none were available yet my replacement room WAS a handicap room. The 2nd room was dirty too just not as awful as the 1st. I ended up going to the local convenient mart, buying cleaning supplies and cleaned it myself. One should not have to do that at any hotel let alone a Hampton Inn! I posting pics but my phone takes terrible pics and you really can’t tell. The bathroom pics are trying to show the dried up urine on the vanity leg and handle and the hairs on the pillowcases either. I’m not a complainer either, this was just over the top and for the staff to get mad at me for wanting a different room was just crazy.

Clean rooms. They staff was great. Breakfast was hot and stayed stocked.
