Carolina Landing RV Resort - Caravan Park

The cabin in the picture we booked was actually 2 cabins under one roof. The price paid appeared to reflect the larger cabin. However, upon arrival it was merely half. There was only 1 lamp on a table, a small couch and the "dining table" had metal chairs with rust on the legs. The loft bed sheets were stained and the bathroom had mold present on the floor as well as around the caulking. The cabin upon entry was not swept/vacuumed, the TV was already on, the maintenance person left the front door wide open and he left his key ring in the lock of the front door he left open. For the price paid per night this was beyond disappointing and I will be contacting the office Monday to discuss further. If I could upload pictures it would be possible to show that the exterior framing for the floor joist had a hole no less than 24" in diameter. Beyond disappointed and feel completely scammed for the picturesque cabin and campground portrayed. Nothing like the pictures!

Arrived after office closing, getting pack with key was no problem. The gate code was not on packet, had to call emergency number to get it and got quite the attitude with whom answered.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating, but property was very much in need of an upgrade. It was worn down and was a duplex, which we did not know. You could hear the other tennants conversations. No heating, would not recommend facility or revisit.

Would of preferred a softer mattress. The signage to the cabin was confusing. Other than that our stay was good.
