My husband and I were so impressed with this motel. So easy to find, great location, and the room was large. Very comfortable king bed and the shower was great. The private beach was large, plenty of chairs, and the view of the lake from the balcony was gorgeous! Very short walk to town where one can find cafes, restaurants, etc. We will be back!

Positive: A beautiful location. Very clean. Baseboard heat that was very quiet. Nice TV. Negative: Shower head not connected to water supply in a very small bathroom. Poorly designed outside stairs that are difficult to climb. Room was not large enough to accommodate two Queen sized beds, resulting in a jumble of other furnishings. Very poor internet service - inoperable in the evening.

well maintained. parking lots had fresh stripes, exterior had recently been painted. room was fine . even the windows opened with screens that were not damaged. Had access to a nice beach. It had exterior entrance and had to climb stairs to the 2nd floor but was expedted. and not a problem.

Our stay was great. It was over the 4th of July so we expected it to be loud, but everything was calm & relaxing. Love the little beach!

This resort was perfect for a little Up North pit stop. We were scheduled for 2 nights but when we had an issue at our Air BNB we were able to get in for a 3rd! The owner was amazingly sweet & accommodating! Kelly at the front desk & the 2 gals in house keeping were super friendly too! Great location & loved the private area by on the lake, very peaceful! My only suggestion would be to get better pillows. The pillows were too thin & not comfortable. Sleeping in a foreign bed is hard enough but hotel pillows always make a huge difference.

Nice place to relax, read and get some sun while you’re lounging on the private beach-all by the Crystal Lake! Bring your own food, paper cups, plates and drink. There’s no need to get into your car although restaurants are nearby.

My room had a great view of Crystal Lake. Everything in the room seemed brand new and exceedingly clean. It had a mini fridge and an excellent microwave. Quiet, peaceful, private, excellent parking. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The staff was helpful and friendly. It was clean and it wasn't ran down. However, the room was super small and overpriced for the size. The beach is also a walk away not right outside like pictures showed. No amenities other than coffee in your room. Overall, it wasn't bad.

The owner was so kind and gracious to us. Let us check in early and we had to also check out early due to unforeseen circumstances and she was so nice about everything. She told me over the phone how nice and happy my fiance and I were checking in that we even got a free upgrade. She didn’t know that we were there to take our engagement photos in the sleeping bear dunes so it just made our weekend. Would totally stay again! (:

We came in late, they had an envelope with a key ready, easy check in, I would say. Lovely room, clean, beautiful view. We just caught a gorgeous sunset over Crystal Lake. Morning was also very peaceful. Gorgeous property. I can see it being a favorite spot for many to enjoy.

The sunset, the private beach. The property is spacious with some nice cottages. We stayed in a lake view room. The room was very quaint. The location was close to restaurants. The lake is very beautiful. The town is low key and the perfect size. We really enjoyed Sleepy Bear Dunes NP.

The sunset, the private beach. The property is spacious with some nice cottages. We stayed in a lake view room. The room was very quaint. The location was close to restaurants. The lake is very beautiful. The town is low key and the perfect size. We really enjoyed Sleepy Bear Dunes NP.

My husband and I were so impressed with this motel. So easy to find, great location, and the room was large. Very comfortable king bed and the shower was great. The private beach was large, plenty of chairs, and the view of the lake from the balcony was gorgeous! Very short walk to town where one can find cafes, restaurants, etc. We will be back!

We will visit this place again! Wonderful cottages, nice staff and location close to downtown. We rode our bikes down to dinner ant the local brewery! Only 25 minute drive to sleeping bear along beautiful M-22.

This resort was perfect for a little Up North pit stop. We were scheduled for 2 nights but when we had an issue at our Air BNB we were able to get in for a 3rd! The owner was amazingly sweet & accommodating! Kelly at the front desk & the 2 gals in house keeping were super friendly too! Great location & loved the private area by on the lake, very peaceful! My only suggestion would be to get better pillows. The pillows were too thin & not comfortable. Sleeping in a foreign bed is hard enough but hotel pillows always make a huge difference.

Nice place to relax, read and get some sun while you’re lounging on the private beach-all by the Crystal Lake! Bring your own food, paper cups, plates and drink. There’s no need to get into your car although restaurants are nearby.

I only knew because I saw it on my credit card charge after we left the hotel. The office has limited hours. There was someone in the office when we checked in but not when we checked out. We weren’t sure what to do with our room key at check out (it’s a physical key on a keychain not a card) and I asked someone else leaving at the same time.
